  1. The only stat i care about, is that he missed games here and there. Levitre on the other hand, never missed a game in his career. Stats for o-Line is hopeless, we all know both are good players, but in my opinion, if our FO believes Levitre Can play both man and zone, he's clearly the better choice.

It's a cliche, but the best ability is availability.

  2. I am surprised that the Bills are letting levite test the market they have 20,6 mil in cap space (not counting the tag for Bryd)The Chargers have only 8.6 mil.. this makes it difficult to sign Vasquez and several other FA they have..The jets are upside down... they have Geoff Shwartz as an OG rated 7th with PFFI have pasted the link for all the teams cap space.http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2012/story/_/id/8822266/nfl-mailbag-carryover-rules-impact-cap-strategygoing on 5 days to see what Grigs does... can't wait..

Levitre stated, that he wanted to test the market like a month ago.

  3. Are you kidding me?

He wasn't even in serious first round consideration until he performed very well at the Senior Bowl...   that hardly qualifies someone as a lock.

Now, he maybe closer to that in a week,  once he's worked out....   but he's still got his pro day and other workouts to go....  plus, he can't play Left Tackle.     Most team don't want to spend a 1st round pick on a Right Tackle.    Some teams will,  but not not most.

He's hardly a lock....    at least, not yet...

He only Weighed in at Senior Bowl. Didn't participate in training/game.

  4. I read an article, stating that ACL is a very very difficult injury for a CB to overcome. Like many already said, he would demand a huge salary; 16 mil a year, 60 mil guaranteed! That's insane, plus the picks we would ship to new york.

Grigson said many times, that he wants good guys, and a good lockerroom. I'm not sure revis is that kind of guy.

We have far too many needs to waste time, picks and money on a 28-year old CB coming off a major injury. Use the money and the picks on the entire team, instead of having one good player.

  5. Not sure i like the idea of Clady/Long they will demand a huge contract. Think AC is a more than serviceable LT, and we don't need to pay two guys LT money. We have a lot of money, but they should be spent wisely. If we could get Vollmer, and Vasquez or Levitre, that would make me happy. Byrd would be amazing. I would go Anthony Spencer or Connor Barwin if we don't retain Freeney.

Bit too soon for the draft, in my opinion, but guys like Xavier Rhodes, Chance Warmack, Jonathan Cooper, those LSU DEs, or Eric Fisher would be nice additions. Not saying they're all there, but you never know, anything can happen on draftday.

  6. Even if we had a great OL, i wouldn't like it. I miss alot of play action, and checkdowns, and some shorter routes. Luck played WCO in College, and he is amazing on short-intermediate throws, and although he has done allright on the deep throws, he hasn't excelled, and he has taken a beating.

  7. He's a much better OC. I'll give him that. There is no doubt. I'm just looking at the big picture and unfortunately that takes into any future health scares of Chuck Pagano. If Turner was the OC, and an issue presented itself, he would likely be the one turned to as the Interim Head Coach.

Even if you remove that from the equation,  With the current group of players, I'm not sold on a vertical passing game as much as I am a WCO which is much better suited to the group of players currently employed and the group of players that will likely be on the roster moving forward over the next 3-5 years.

I think we agree, don't like the vertical either.

  8. Norv might not be a very good HC, but he's a very good OC. There's a reason he was hired as HC three times, and there's a reason he received a lot of credit for his work with the cowboys in the 90's, where he made Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin and Emmit Smith HOFs.

He's a terrible HC, but you can't deny he's one hell of an OC.

  9. Realistically these possibilities makes the most sense: Tom Moore, Norval Eugene Turner, Clyde Christensen.

Tom Moore would be my favourite. Rumor has it he is on top of the Titans OC shortlist, so why not ours? has had a lot of success in the past, and he likes to give his QB alot of freedom at the line of scrimmage, and he has a fairly balanced passing attack.

Norv Turner is a living legend as OC, would be awesome, he does however have a love for the vertical passing game, and i would prefer a more balanced passing attack

Clyde Christensen would be okay, not great. He didn't have alot of success last time, but he would provide some continuity, which could be important for a rookie QB. In his case it depends on his relationship with Luck, IMO.

The upside with all three is that it would be highly unlikely for any of them to get HC consideration, which would provide continuity.
