Wow. The Bruce Arians offense is doing pretty well in Arizona..just sayin. Pep knows the same things. We saw it last week in the 4th Quarter.
I think a whole lot of the 'younger crowd ' should stop firing people. I had to fire people in my job for 22 tears. It is not fun. Families are left hanging. Don't get me wrong there were those who needed firing ASAP, but not a coach Luck has made poor decisions.
I cannot wait to watch this game tonight. I think we win, and an exhausted Hasselback is once again a hero. Frank Gore will get the running game going and will NOT fumble.
Time for the big for a lot of folks that count us out against the Texans. It will be fun, and then we can get everyone healthy for the Patriots. !!!!!
Iʻll be praying brother...GO COLTS! Can I get an AMEN!

Kind of assumed this is how this would shake out.
Clearly something bigger than what the team is letting on is going on with Luck.
I think youʻre right...he hasʻnt looked good since the 1st game...I guess all those hits finally caught up with Luck

I may be a Saints fan, but I don't think any of you watched the Saints in 2009 to realize they were a lot better than they were given credit for going into the SB. We beat 4 Super Bowl winning quarterbacks going into the big one. The Colts nearly went undefeated beating up on crap teams all year, and their own near loss was to the Patriots. The same Patriots the Saints slaughtered a few weeks later.
Colts almost went 16-0, but so did the Saints. We started 13-0, and then lost to Dallas and Tampa Bay in games were half our starters were missing. They started to truly rest their starters against Dallas since half the defense was sitting out for that game. The other two loses to Tampa and Carolina weren't a big deal.
The Colts were supposed to roll us. That's what we heard over and over for two weeks straight. "They're lucky to even be there, Manning is going to roll them, it's going to be a blow out". Not even local Saints writers believed in the team, it was actually pathetic in a way how little faith people had in them.
The Saints were used to playing under the gun down by two scores most of the season. All those comeback wins were clutch, and our defense played so much better in the second half. Colts were outscored 31-7 after they went up by 10 points. That's just how the Saints rolled that year. You got your points early, then had to deal with the fury. That team played with absolute fire in the second half of ball games. I don't think any of you realize how good they were in the second half. The Saints killed teams all year in 2009 by waiting to the second half to explode and go into frenzy. They were a very clutch team that year in the 4th quarter.
Onside kick and missed field goal aside, I still doubt they win that game even with that, cause they could only score 7 points on us after the half, meanwhile Brees was a machine that night and could not be slowed down.
Hey I like your new avatar....FIERY....nice one Bogie
-
with this team being in disarray so I sure wouldn't be saying we are going to blow anyone out!
I agree...stay humble fans
-
He got his first sack of the season against Tennessee
Yes...along with Parry too
-
You are feeling it.
I know you are.
Can you feel it!!!!!!!!
Felt like I was going to have a heart attack watching the game...so yes definitely felt something
-
It will happen. We will get one or two of those "OMG I can't believe that happened" wins this year.
And you will be absolutely right
-
We are the miracle trainwrecks!!!!
BTW I almost guarantee that this year we beat a team or two in fluke fashion nobody sees coming.
Nothing surprises me anymore
-
I agree, if Ben is in there the Ravens are 0-4. Flacco has no one to pass to, and the defense is suspect. This is a huge coaching challenge for Harbaugh. If they can get to 3-4, and that's assuming they can beat Cleveland at home, SF on road, and probably losing at Arizona, the schedule after that is favorable. Much of it depends if we start getting injured players back, someone steps up as WR, and the secondary improves. You are right, this is a flawed team.
Well said
-
Maybe Robinson has been cursed. He's wearing #34 and Pagano called him a rolling ball of butcher knives in the offseason
Same could be said of AJ wearing #81
-
...this team is a dumpster fire without Luck. Jacksonville has more talent everywhere.
No O-line=no QB
-
I wish we could get some of the stink out of this forum soon. There's just way too many "I told you so" "Na Na Na Boo Boo" chicken little coward type posters who could not make a reasonable and mature assesment of a situation and some things that could be done to make what we have a whole lot more effective. Guys who sit around like monkeys beating their chests, showing their banana stained teeth and scratching their under arms making loud noises in a language nobody understands nor can get any substance from.
Youʻre right...Iʻll be the man and bow out...just wish he had since he started it

October 2, 2015I don't know what you guys are talking about. His hands are just fine. He and the football were clearly meant for each other.
Donʻt think so...nuff said

No.
I think some teams in the AFC have caught up with/surpassed us this season. They're may be 5 or 6 teams that are simply better teams.
Bengals..Steelers..Broncos..Bills and of course the Pats..am I right..I know we lost to the Jets but believe we could beat them next time if they somehow make the playoffs...but think we would possibly lose to Chiefs and Dolphins too if they make it...what do ya think
-
Romeo isn't that muscular though. It's no surprise to me when guys like him Brees, or Rodgers get injured. Luck is built like a tank though, meaning that if he's injured it's from a constant pounding.
Hell yeah...but donʻt know how much more he can take...heʻs getting blasted every which way but loose
-
That was a very good throw. Almost a perfect throw.
Look at the video from it http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000540029/Colts-Andrew-Luck-finds-Phillip-Dorsett-for-35-yard-TD
If Luck throws that ball 5 yards into the endzone, Dorsett gets de-headed by the safety closing in. Dorsett had his man beat but not the closing coverage. The DB was not in position to make a play on the ball where Luck put it. Dorsett was the only player on the field who had an opportunity to make a play on that ball based on how the defense was set up.
One of the best throws I have ever seen Luck make.
I agree...I think dorsett knew that was coming...that was too good of a play even for him
-
Not that the two are related, but Arians almost got in trouble when he said nearing Suh's contract year that he would certainly like to have a player like him on the Cards.
Subtle tampering perhaps.
Luck doesʻnt have the EGO Elway had and was glad Irsay signed off...too many EGOʻs can and will collide

Happy October everyone. The End is September means we're one more step closer to the 2016 NFL Draft.
I figured that the way we draft on O-Line depends a lot on what we do with Mewhort. Thus I have the mocks set up accordingly;
Mewhort at LG: This option makes RT a huge need
1. Jack Conklin, OT MSU- A very talented player with underrated strength. There was a play when he played Oregon and absolutely destroyed DeForest Buckner.
2. Jordan Jenkins, OLB Georgia- Floyd gets most of the attention but this guy stole the show against Vanderbilt. Not explosive enough to rush the blind side but he'll be a beast at SAM.
3. Karl Joseph, S WVU- The safety class looks really deep this year. We need to get younger at safety and move on from Adams.
4. Joey Hunt, C TCU- Again, I didn't know who he was until I scouted Jordan Phillips. This guy can upgrade Holmes.
5. Sterling Sheppard WR, Oklahoma- BPA here but the Colts could use a return guy.
Mewhort at RT: If you leave him at RT then you have to upgrade one of the guard spots early.
1. Leonard Floyd, OLB Georgia - I'm not rooting for the Colts to lose but I could see us going 9-7 which would put us in range for a top guy like Floyd.
2. Vadal Alexender, OG LSU- Won't be a round 1 pick because he'll play interior OL at the next level, and Whitehair might go before him. Still a really physical OG though.
3. Nick Martin, C/G Notre Dame- Yes, he is related to Zack Martin. And yes, he compares to him in some ways. But he has to bulk up. Listed at 285 lbs currently.
4. Eric Stryker OLB, Oklahoma- Had him ranked higher until I found out he's only 6'0. That'll knock him down a bunch. Size says 4-3 Will, but could be groomed to play SAM for a 3-4.
5. Wayne Lyons, CB - Not sure why he transferred but his name has gotten lost in the shuffle. Still worth taking late though.
To bad we wonʻt suck 4 Conk
-
And he also hired Chud, so direct blame is a bit confusing. I'd say Clyde and Pep first, but maybe nobody. The article is the first sign that the Colts have seen problems with their offensive approach. Maybe they will all make the appropriate adjustments.
I know they will...just being a die-hard fan...GO COLTS!
-
Exactly! Is this the equivalent of blaming the victim?!?
Never thought of it that way...nice one
-
Yes. It was his offense that was blamed for Ben getting beat up. And I think the Cards went through two starting QBs last year.
Pitt switched to Todd Haley. Pitt scored 59 on us and Ben wasn't pressured much, even with Pouncey out. Their Oline has never been highly acclaimed in recent years. There big OG they drafted in the first round was overdrafted, and Pouncey has been hurt.
Against us, I think they had quicker routes and also threw to Bell a bit.
So Grigs hired Arians and Pep whoʻs doing almost the same thing...sounds like Grigs is the one who should go
-
He also called the Colts the Indianapolis Peyton Mannings because Peyton carried the team. He also said that without Peyton the Colts would be a 2 win team.
Everyone knew that...2011 was 2-14 without Peyton...the guy knows what heʻs talking about...2 SB wins
-
Yes. When Big Ben was getting beat up, Pitt changed OCs to protect him better. They didn't fire upper management.
Wasʻnt Arians the OC at Pitts?

What do you expect when all they did after last season was cut bait...no big FA moves...totally stagnant...not to mention those old eagles and texan he signed last offseason and heʻs still here...is he engaged to Irsayʻs daughter...well letʻs hope next year starts off better but if Grigs is still here I doubt it
