  1. Tom Brady is without doubt one of the greatest ever, but it can't really be denied that his last 2 super bowls were basically handed to him. If the Seahawks and Falcons just run the ball, the Pats lose both, and we would be talking about how Brady has lost 4 super bowls in a row. Funny how success is such a fine line.

They should've had Shanahan hand Brady the SB trophy, because thats basically what he did anyway.

He came back and won after throwing a pick six...unlike someone else we know. lmao

I did not see the postgame interviews. Did Shanahan explain the rationale for calling those plays? I am still shaking my head.

I so appreciate the Giants for beating the Pats twice. Imagine Brady with 7 SB rings!

Yeah I am always up late at night. Was never a day person. To me nights are much more peaceful. The most problems I have ever had at work is when I worked days.

  3. Alright, which one of yall did this?

Draft season is already off the rails. Mailbag Question: "If Watson or Trubisky is there, will the Colts draft one and replace Luck?"

  4. Back.

  5. Beyond excited that a new Metallica album is coming...Hardwired was a nice single. Can't wait.

      Malakai432

Yeah the song I heard seemed like something straight off Kill'em All, so it's good to see them kind of go back to old school so far at least.  We will have to wait and see the rest of their album.  I was more of a Ride the Lightning, Masters of Puppets, And Justice for All fan, Black album which was more of a classical metal style instead of quicker thrash but it's good to see them go old school style none the less.

Yeah their old stuff was Godlike. I can't believe how good Hetfield sounds. Hes approaching 60 years old and has the vocals of a 30 year old.

This is basically gonna be a double album which is pretty cool. Metallicas thrash metal is my favorite.

    3. Malakai432

      Malakai432

That's pretty cool I never knew it was going to be a double!  I'll have to check it out.  I primarily listen to all kinds of metal, old school wise I like a lot of Metallica, Ozzy, Pantera, ect.  I can't ever get sick of any them, lol.

  6. Beyond excited that Colts football is back tomorrow.

I miss his insights on things. He's 1 smart dude.

  15. Hopefully the Jets game is a sign of things to come. Maybe we can be the team that gets hot at the end of the season...never know.

If they play anything like that next week, I have no doubt....not only will they beat Houston, they'll destroy them.

    2. RockThatBlue

      RockThatBlue

      Yup, we can do this.

    3. Jules

      Jules

Call me crazy but the team I am most worried about playing in the AFC is actually the Chiefs. The Chiefs have won against several pass happy teams this year; Colts/Saints/Falcons etc. and they beat the Raiders this year early on I think.

I want to see if Oakland can beat KC in a few days and how this shakes out.

I can see us winning the division and hosting the Chiefs and that defense worries me. I am hoping more for Denver (I think we would beat them at home) and even Oakland as hot as they are, we might be able to out score them in a shoot out.

Even NE I think is more vulnerable now. Gronk is out and the Jamie Collins trade IMO was dumb as hell.

I would even take Baltimore at home.......I think we can get them. Chiefs though in a second meeting we might be better against since Luck is better now then several weeks ago.

Clearly though I am looking too far ahead......I know ignore me.:beg: OMG we need to win this weekend pretty much.......but Brock has been so bad I can't get overly worried yet early in the week. And without JJ Watt that makes the Colts o line feel much more free.

  16. I can't remember the last time the Colts were playing meaningless football in mid December. Even last year the games in December counted. We could win these next 3 games by 50 and it won't even matter (not that we would but you all know what I mean)

It sucks that its came to this. Very disappointing year as a Colts fan.

      RockThatBlue

Yup, a must win game and we played a very ugly game.

    3. 2006Coltsbestever

      2006Coltsbestever

I have to say it was the most disappointing loss in the Luck/Pagano era. Mainly because we were 7 point favorites, playing a team with a Below Average QB at home, and what was at stake. Losing to the Patriots in the Playoffs in 2013 and 2014 was bad but most people expected that.

    4. NorthernBlue

      NorthernBlue

I will give some credit to the Texan D. They showed up. Indy still should have crushed them though. You can't lose to Brock Osweiler at home. You just can't.

The games aren't meaningless though (I know the moment I said that I probably ticked off a lot of people haha). It would take a miracle, but the Colts I think have a better shot at making the playoffs this year, rather than after last seasons loss the Texans. The only reason(s) though are that they're still 3 games left, and Houston could always lose 2 of 3. Plus the Colts have the tie breaker as well.

They absolutely do not deserve to be the in the playoffs as it stands. Whether they finish 6-10 or 9-7 and somehow squeak in, I don't really care. I'm down for whatever. Lets see what happens.

  17. I have no idea what to think of the Colts.

      RockThatBlue

We are weird to the point of frustration. When we absolutely have to win we lose, but when our playoff chances are all but diminished all of a sudden we play our best football. I don't get it.

    3. NorthernBlue

      NorthernBlue

Against a team fighting for their playoff lives no less.

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

INDY has had an up & down yr that's for sure. Just when I think all hope is lost, we show up & then when I believe things are getting better; the Colts look like they forgot how to play ball. I can't figure out our inconsistency at all either.

  18. I love basketball but theres nothing better than American football. Nothing.

    2. Jules

      Jules

I love both the NFL and NBA. But, I find myself often getting more excited and into the NBA playoffs every year. I love the series format for longer more fun fan anticipation.

With the NFL I find myself a lot more into the week to week regular season games since there are not as many over the NBA where there are so many more regular season games and you often can tell ahead of time who the top few contending teams will be before the season even starts.

Not sure anything can top the Cavs/Warriors 7 game series this though this year. That was drama at it's finest.

The best part of the NFL is the ability of an underdog to rise up and win something and go farther. In the NBA it's a lot harder to see that so you often have to find a top dog you like to root for on the side.

In the NBA though, I often felt these are the best athletes in the world maybe. Not much can top their stamina and athletic ability and the Olympics proves they are among the best athletes worldwide from the USA every 4 years now it seems.

Oh and yeah college basketball is great too, love March Madness but hate when I get it wrong lol.

I feel like there is something to the Manning/Gruden rumors. I don't know if either will happen, but I do think Irsay was having conversations with them. Just seems like something is, or was happening with those two. Maybe Irsay couldn't reach a deal.

    3. RockThatBlue

      RockThatBlue

But if he couldn't reach a deal, why not come out and say he is making no changes? Thats the confusing part.

    4. 2006Coltsbestever

Chuck being under contract makes me think Irsay wont make a move but I do think there is some truth that he is interested in Gruden and even Peyton.

I think Irsay wants him in to the fold, but it's Manning whose being hesitant.
