    Hello Colts Faithful!

I just wanted to send out a quick poem to thank Reggie for his years of faithful service to the Blue Horseshoe:

Here is a shout to RW87,

When you played the game as a Colt your fans were in pure heaven.

From the time you were a rookie you learned the game and studied under Marvin, who was the best

After 14 seasons as a veteran Colt, you gradually became the ultimate barometer for the receiver test.

You showed up at training camp with smiles, waves, in race cars and sometimes wearing even camouflage

But when it was time to play you would play through pain and bruises as long as there was no hemorrhage.

You battled on the field like a true blue warrior and kept it real off the field as well,

You are the very definition of inspiring and I bet Reggie Wayne gear will always sell.

On the day you wiped the tears from your eye and television caught you weeping for the game

We as fans knew you were a player by blood and would leave it all out on the field so we felt no shame.

This ode is to you Reggie and I will support you regardless of whether you stop or chose to seek play

Just promise us when it is all over you will come home to retire as an Indianapolis Colt one day.

When things all play out you will come home to applause and cheers from Colts fans standing on their feet

All of them realizing that when it came to you playing the game, you were a hard receiver to actually beat.

So as the days draw closer and football season kicks off, keep your game and your head intact,

Do not forget that no matter what you do or where you go we still will always consider you a class act.

.....And with the first pick of the 2012 Draft, the Indianapolis Colts choose Andrew Luck! Luck ..Luck... Luck..... (echo trail off) I cannot wait to hear those words uttered and then for the day the Andrew Luck actually runs out for the first game and takes his position behind the center for the Colts.
Oh, pardon me I apologize for my provocative title to mislead you into thinking that I wish bad luck on our team. I would never wish that or want it. I just wanted you to stop and read the blog. Maybe, It was over the top but you must really get to know me better since this is my first blog on this site. I know we have not been formally introduced so let me get that out of the way by telling you a little about myself briefly and then back to the blog title.
My name is Jaggededge. I am a Colts fan, memorabilia collector and occasional blogger. I am a transfer from the Direct Colts site and am thrilled to be here with the rest of you fans and look forward to reading your blogs, comments and looking over your videos and photos here on Colts.com. Okay, now back to my blog.
Luck will be a part of the "Newly built Monster," that is being currently put into place. What is even more strange is the guy holding the clipboard and QB position behind him may be our old nemesis from the Jaguars, Byron Leftwich. How is that for topsy turvy? Luck will have to orchestrate and implement a lot of things as a QB with the Colts while digesting and learning on the fly. Although he is familiar with some aspects of what his responsibilities will include he will need to adjust to the other new players and the veteran play makers as well. I think he will perform well.
Now, it will not be easy to replace a legend, but the Colts have been shall we say "Lucky" thus far and hopefully the only Luck that will run out will be the afore-mentioned one onto the field to receive the snaps under center. I can see the headlines already in my mind's eye..."Colts 'Drew Luck so Rams Stuck with RG3." Makes a nice caption eh?
So although the only draft I ever get excited for is usually my beer, I think this year I look forward to the exception. Also with a lil. Luck we may be back in the saddle again! Thoughts?

"It is indeed tough to lose while carrying a horse shoe on one's helmet and having a lot of Luck for good measure."- Jaggededge.
    Greetings all!
I did a blog awhile back called, "Looking Forward To The Day That 'Luck' Runs Out For The Colts."
    http://forums.colts....-for-the-colts/
It was my first blog on this site. The blog was more of a play on words and it was tongue in cheek at the time. However, at this time the title of that blog may hold a very ominous overtone or meaning for Luck and the Colts. Since writing that blog, I have been busy and have yet to blog since then, that is until now. Although at that time I promised to follow that blog up with other enticing ones,I let myself and others down due to my time constraints. Therefore, here is a heartfelt apology and a quaint attempt to bring something of relevance to the table for you all to ponder.
I think we all know the reality is becoming more and more probable with each win that Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts will draw Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos in the post season. I know where the Colts faithful stand, but my question is how will you feel at the end of the game for the loser whomever that might be? Are we ready to bury the proverbial hatchet past after these two meet in battle if it is the Football Gods call, or will we cringe every time these two draw each other in future games as we look for a game of oneupmanship? I am throwing this out here to take a fan pulse.
I think the fans here will be in an emotional, torn and difficult state of mind when and if this day comes. Thoughts on how you will feel on this day? Also, who do you think wins this battle? The Lucky young frisky Colts or the Broncos that are well manned by Manning?
I could see a scenario where Luck could run out yet again for the Colts or another upset stomach special for the Broncos as they are Orange-crushed, at home. Thoughts? Opinions? Feedback? The virtual floor is yours......
