I call nonesense on that one....  You make it personal by defending him even in situations that it is obviously his bafoonery.

Also if none of us have any control about it why do you even worry about what others say or think?

I cannot wait for the Wood Chopper to get the AXE!!!!

I think it says more about you as a human when you are gleeful at another’s person loss.

I do agree the Colts need a change, but I won’t be happy it happens.

You're naive (or deluded) if you think the Colts wouldn't want a #2 pick compared to a #3 pick. There's no point to the Colts winning a game in a lost season beyond boosting team pride.

I mean you think the Colts wanted to win another game in 2011 and cost them the #1 spot in Andrew Luck?

That being said good for them that they did win I'm sure it was a trying season for this team with how bad this year was to end on a good note.

They damn well played to win. When you play a division opponent it’s never a meaningless win. I sure as hell don’t watch hoping the lose. That’s  ignorant.

Losing teams lose even when they get top 2 picks (Ahem Cleveland).

Settling for losing breeds being ok with losing.

IF.....IF True would we be interested in bringing Bruce back ?.....Story link >>>>>>https://nesn.com/2017/12/nfl-rumors-cardinals-bruce-arians-to-part-ways-in-amicable-split/

    No

    hell no

    * No

His system gets the QB killed. We’re just now possibly getting Andrew Luck back, no way donI want to see him in Bruce’s system ever again.

Don't put the horse before the cart. That is exactly what Irsay did with Grigson.

Ballard right now is getting the praise that Grigson did his first year. Matter of fact, Grigson got praise from the whole NFL with being voted GM of the year.

Lets see how this all works out before assuming Ballard is the next coming of the mighty savior.

Worst thing that ever happened to Indy.  Team needed more pieces but found success early. They were never able to build through draft correctly.

 I have no idea why some people don't think Luck isn't going to play again. I am not sure if people do this to Troll or they really believe it lmao

I don’t know if he will or won’t.  But why wouldn’t you plan for him “not” playing? Why are you so “sure” when there are medical experts who are not certain?

    Nonsense. Poppycock. Horse dung.

Ballard was under the impression that Luck would be back early in the season. There was no decent available back up QBs. He traded for Brissett for the future and that is exactly what he said. He took a gamble on Brissett while he was still in his rookie contract. Cheap but well worth the gamble and in the meantime got rid of Dorsett. I was wrong about Dorsett as I thought he would be better.

I know it is too early to judge Ballard but under the circumstances he has not failed this team. Going there IMO is short sighted of you.

The GM’s job to be prepared. Sorry no excuses. Polian lost his job for not having a backup for Manning.

Not saying he won’t be a good GM. But it’s a red flag.

Ballard went out and got you the best (not counting Kaepernick) QB that was available.  Name two (Minnesota is definitely one) other teams in the league this season that have played it's backup and they have been even capable?  I'll wait.  Here's a list in case you forgot who's played a backup this season.

    CHI

    TB

    MIN

    OAK

    GB

    ARI

    HOU

    TEN

    BUF

    BAL

    CLE

    DEN

    NYG (TBD)

Fine with the who. Not fine with the when. It’s the GM’s job to hope for the best and plan for the worst. The starting QB for the Colts was not put in a position to succeed this year. All fairness to Jacoby, he is doing about the best to be expected based on when he arrived.

Sorry, but even now there is zero guarantees Andrew Luck ever comes back. There is hope. But are we prepared if he cannot?

Honestly, without a good coach, how will you know how good the GM is?

Ask the Rams.  They did rebuff the roster this year, but were they as bad as their roster the last few years?  Did the GM not get them talent?

Ask the Bills.  I mean half their offense went to the Rams and looks unstoppable.  They've traded away great player after great player and are still in the playoff race with a QB they don't even want.  How many coaches could get that much out of a team full of no names?

Ask the Bucs.  A team full of "names."  Got rid of their coach who had the team on the right path for the OC.  Team is poo poo with a bunch of pro bowl caliber players at almost every unit on the field.

At this time I don’t trust Ballard.

He failed the team at QB. Should have had a capable QB learn the offense during  OTA’s
