I think simms will be a great benefit to the colts,we needed a big LB with size,

gary brackett is best when he plays a team that likes to throw short passes or

screens,but i think simms will be able to stop the run threw the middle better.

simms is 6feet and 230 lbs,brackett is 5'11 and 235.

Simms is a good pass cover lb,but is more of a run around the blocker type linebacker against the run.I think he will play on passing downs for sure.

Count me in as someone who loves Lamey as well. Best in the business in my opinion.

He does make some bad calls{first down then not a first down.caught it then no he dropped it}.He gets me excited and then i get bummed.But he is a character.

Wheeler is not very good,a weak tackler who seems to dive at a runners legs{with poor results}.Pat struggled at times but got better as the season went on.I expect pat to be a solid player in this league and wheeler to be a back up type.

Not to be a party pooper but sims,anderson and harris are question marks imo.They were out there for cheap and we signed them,so who knows.I do know that anderson was a bust and harris has not been good since he injured his knee in 2006.I like everybody else is hoping these guys contribute,but i am not drooling over the signings like others.

Sadly i agree with the article,if the goal is to win superbowls we likely will fall short.But i will also say a team with peyton always has a shot.So i guess it's back to teams gashing us for 175 yards a game on the ground and keeping our o on the bench.The thing that myself and other fans need to understand is everybody is getting better and we are getting older.I apologize if i sound like i am whining,but 1 superbowl with the best qb of all time does not sit well with me.

I don't want to raise alarms, but Manning looks much thinner in this picture to me. Maybe its the angle.. but this neck thing looks like it has taken a toll on our 4 time MVP.

I am nervous about our corners.Powers is good but has had injuries the last 2 years,lacey imo is not very good.tyron looks okay but who knows.I strongly believe we need a veteran who can still play.I really hope this kid thomas can contribute right away.
