There are still plenty of tickets out there. I bet the stadium will be 50/50 fan wise, which is sad. I haven't been to a game in 10 years. Makes me want to go and get a bull horn and shout every time the Steelers get ready to hike the ball chuckling homer simpson GIF- I hate the team, they won 4 SBs in the 70's, before half their fan base was even born and these 20/30/40 yr olds claim to be Steelers fans living in Hawaii or Alaska lmao

I have a friend who's a Pittsburgh fan, we live in Missouri and he grew up 2.5 hours from KC. I've not given him much crap since he's a penguin and pirates fan too, so kept all Pittsburgh. Those that are like Yankees, Lakers, cowboys fans (insert steelers instead of cowboys for same thing)

Thanks for the responses, I bit the bullet and paid the fees.  A good friend of mine grew up with and was a childhood friend of Coach Steichen and he is getting us access to field level before the game.  I couldn't take a chance on not being there.

I wish I had seen this yesterday. I would've considered with mine

I really don’t know much about him, my dislike for him was because he was the Brewers Manager….I’m willing to give him a shot, he put together a pretty good team last couple of seasons, just couldn’t seal the deal.

It’s almost like a McDaniels (so glad he got fired, lol)feeling for me, I’m being cautiously optimistic.

Understandable. I was looking forward to him being out of the division, but happy it's us instead. He normally pulls right levers which can't say same thing on ross

I will explain myself a little better. I was pressed for time yesterday when I made my short post. Although I do think Counsel has his flaws as the Brewers seem to fail in the playoffs every year, I think he is a better manager than Ross. I also love he is sticking it to Brewers fans. We need Bellinger to re-sign and we need to do upgrade our BullPen in order to win the division IMO.

what a turn of events…..Counsel???? That is crazy! And dumped Ross, I didn’t think that would happen so soon but last season ended in a definite dud. Wonder how the Brewer fans feel about it, lol!

Haha brewers fans have been livid about it, and their owner is salty too. And I agree his post season record isn't great, but his owner was cheap. He now has a high volume owner and a gm/president that will use the money.

This feels like a Maddon in 2015 feel

@PuntersArePeopleToo  How did you not tell me the Mets fired Buck and the GM resigned? Lol. I happened to look at my unread archived articles so that I could erase them. I read that the Mets had no manager or GM. I think you told me about the hiring of Stearns as the team President. Hopefully we go with a youth movement.

I read we may be interviewing Craig Counsell for manager. He is still the manager of the Brewers. I have never been a fan of Counsell, going back to his playing days. He is a Brewers lifer. I hope Counsell declines the job offer.

Haha my bad. I've been offline a bit lately from the forum, some of the main pages have been annoying me.

And ya your GM was also getting investigated for manipulating the IL.

And honestly counsel as annoying as he is, would be a good hire for you guys. He gets the most out of his team every year no matter how low pay they are.

And likely to still be big spenders with Cohen as owner no matter what

I agree, and I'm beginning to doubt the wisdom of these byes in MLB for exactly this reason. 3 out of the 4 teams that had the bye were bounced in the 1st series that they played, and just like last season, both NL teams (the same 2 teams BTW) each lost to a divisional rival in the NLDS.

I mean at some point though, you gotta wonder if it's just team that cracks under pressure (Dodgers really seem to). Dodgers won only during 60 games season, braves won during a surprise year for them.

Baltimore missed a lot of good starting pitching. Astros only complete team and keep showing up well for last 7 years. Makes you wonder if dodgera/braves are just regular Season teams. Baltimore I could see getting to alcs next year

Shane remains too aggressive.  Yes the fourth down stop when the Titans could have kicked a field goal kinda canceled out his failed fourth down call but I understood the Titans call more.  The Colts were in a score or get no points situation because of the clock.  Take.  The.  Points.

I didn't mind the call going for it, and especially the play called it should have been a td, just a miss by minshew. With some of the stuff we do, it can help in future too, showing that will go for it and not just try to get offsides or time outs called

Since Jags beat us aren't they ahead at the moment?

Still laughing I thought that moss TD was JT with the way he accelerated.

They should be. If it was a 3 way tie colts would be in first but since Texans lost I think jags are.

I heard that until we play both games, it is based on division record, i.e. 2-1 in division and them 1-1 would give us the 1st place. If we lose next week then the Jags will consistently hold the tiebreaker due to head to head

My awesome wife and I will be heading that way in a few weeks.

    Anyone else going?

I am trying to see the Colts play in every NFL stadium before the good Lord calls me home….

Originally was going to, then my Fiancée realized it wasn't Charleston haha I'm not kidding. Last year I got ten and min done, thus year it looks like no new one. Next year hoping green bay at least

The world famous Jacoby Brissett was our QB... nuff said haha

I won them from Irsay that year. Nice club seats, but I couldn't make it so my parents went instead

Reds lose and are unofficially eliminated from the playoffs. It would take some insane miracles for them to get in now, including winning out and everyone else losing out.

That’s not happening. Congrats to the Cubs and their fans. The Reds will be joining me at home wondering what if for yet another offseason…

    Well join you by Friday

As of right now we are still in 6th but tonight was a kick to the teeth.

Ya, just a harder schedule though. Dbacks will sweep the White Soxs.

    So 3 fighting for 1

That and it seems to me he’s just trying to be everybody’s buddy, IDK. You have to be willing to make the hard decisions when necessary in that position. He’s still a pretty young/inexperienced manager, hopefully he’ll grow from this.

Yep, that's a major issue for him. He still acts like he's a player not their boss

I agree Ross made many bad decisions, not taking any of the blame from him. Putting in PCA that early was not wise, talk about hitting slump. Hate that he got caught in that pickle too, kind of feel bad for the kid.

Sorry I should have said mid season….Suzuki struggled over the summer and was removed from the lineup for several games. He struggled against righties….

    https://www.chicitysports.com/can-seiya-suzuki-dig-himself-out-of-his-slump

Great hitter when he’s making contact, and great team mate. Not impressed with his defense. Yeah he makes the easy catches, but always hold my breath when something challenging is hit his direction.

I think Canario might be the better option, and hasn’t been given enough time. Suzuki was paid a lot of money though, and they’ll ride with him until his contract is up.

I'll agree on the mid-season but his reset really helped and Heyward was a gold glover, not expecting that from Seiya.  It was a bad miss by him, but it shouldn't have been a matter. The Cubs blew it with Ross poor decision is my biggest issue. Since it seems like PCA is only there for D, who brings him in so early. Like I just can't figure out how ross is this dumb. I'm hoping he's fired after season especially if they miss

That was a damaging loss to say the least. Up 6-0 and can't hold it. I have been saying all year that the 1 weakness we have is our Bullpen. We have trouble holding leads and have lost way too many 1 run games.

Ross is biggest weakness. He taxed bullpen super early in year

He may have graded well, but a I’ve seen him wiff on a few easy catches that cost the Cubs. Looked like Bellinger had a better angle on it. He’s never seems to be a threat to throw anybody out from out there either like Heyward was, plus the slump he had late in the season cost the team. No the loss not not square on his shoulders but he def played a part. Our bullpen is a liability as well.

Slump? He is half our offense since august. He's top 3 ops since then. Without him we'd be Eliminated already.

Bellinger should've called for the ball as CF, if Ross removed his head, he'd have kept PCA in, and PCA certainly would've caught it.

Our bullpen got taxed, pitch Assad four times in a week? Like how is that smart. That includes a 5 inning and 4 inning appearance.

Ross is who holds this loss. If he didn't try to act so smart he would've been better

    My God Suzuki.

From being up 6-0 to losing the game. And this ump is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!

Freaking Suzuki. He’s become quite the liability in the outfield, reminds me of Schwarber, great hitter, terrible outfielder.

This loss is on Ross, not Seiya. He's graded well this year on Def. Ross tried to show once again how smart he is and put PCA in the 4th F inning. Then took him out for Wisdom. I am so tired of him and his managing.

Should Seiya have caught it, yes, but should the cubs have been in that situation, no.

Ross killed this season, we are done and toast. I wish he'd be fired. He has shown to be bad this year
