It seems like the team took him this far, not the other way around.
Yeah you have a right to your own feelings.
However, I didn't have a problem with it. For as bad as people tried to say he was...it is remarkable that he took the team as far as he did. So I think it was worthy of conversation. What bothered some was that they were perplexed as to how/why he was succeeding. He was playing outside of his own limitations and because people couldn't explain his success and resented that he unashamedly attributed his success to his personal faith, they took issue with him. They hated on Tebow because they didn't like "the message" he carried. Nevertheless this doesn't come as a shock to him nor to anyone else who calls him/herself a brother or sister of his in the faith. He will continue to carry on and will be even stronger for it.

thanks debbie downer good job.And now I'm bummed out
-
my thoughts exactly, I see nothing special about him.I find it very, very amusing that people are getting so worked up about a .500 coach. A guy who has also had loaded teams in the past, particularly defensively. And zero rings.

I don't hate Tim Tebow, how could anyone with his attitude? I just don't understand why people give him a pass (not this game) for sucking for 3 qtrs, just because one or two passes were made in OT, and then have the nerve to call him great. I like Tim Tebow the person, but that doesn't make me crazy enough to think he's a good qb.
31.6 average as well.
Tebow played great football today.

The Giants all the way.

Please God, save my baby. Sorry I'm busy helping Tim Tebow with something more important. A football game. Get real.
It's a divine message.

so what is it? The hardcore christian aspect, or the fact that he's....I agree with you.
-
wouldn't doubt it. I know, I know, What Cam has done means nothing. He hasn't proved anything, the verdict is still out on him. Defenses just need to figure him out. Tim Tebow to you has a better chance at being a better qb. Heck he's prolly better than Newton now.I'd take Tebow over Cam Newton.
-
My apologies. I thought this was a colts message board. I didn't know I'd be downing bronco fans here.
Debbie downer good job

Awww maaaan. Now I got to hear how Tim Tebow is great, better than Cam newton and Gods #1 priority

I don't know if I've ever seen Big Ben this terrible. It looks like he's not even trying.

what makes you think he can win a superbowl? (blame the kicker if you like) he couldn't even win a chip and dip bowl.Ur always hating on luck lol
Can't wait to talk anout him in about 5 years after he's already won a super bowl and see your comments then.

Excellent post!

dude, don't try and take credit from Cam. If that was Luck with those stats you'd be ranting and raving over how well he did. Also, Vince young was a head case (can you blame him) whose coach didn't want him since draft day.Has Cam completely proven himself, do you not remember Vince Young's rookie season? Those cocky QBs don't make it far, he needs to play well consistently over the next two years before I call him a good NFL QB.
-
My problem is, Manning is proven, Luck is not. I don't like how people want to
Throw manning out like yesterdays news. Yeah this kid has potential to be good, but people should realize, their is no guarantee when it comes to rookie qb's. If Manning is healthy, I just can't see replacing him.

As a Manning fan, and colts fan, this sounds ok to me. I would love to see peyton in a position to win some more hardware. Sadly, I don't believe he'll do so with us, because I feel we need too many improvements in other areas. He ain't getting much younger. I could see him on a team close to winning it all, but with (Sf, or Ny?) no qb. It could be a win for the colts too, because if Luck is what everyone makes him out to be, we can get back to being a contender. Afterall, it's gotta be tough to pass up the best prospect "since john elway".Even as a Peyton fan, it bodes well for him since he can hopefully finish his career on a TEAM and not have to lug around a bunch of refuse. Maybe he'll even get some more rings for his fingers.
Manning being traded would not be the worst thing in the world for the Colts OR him.

would love for us to get some blue pants with the white stripes. Those nike uni's are fake they've been on the internet for a couple of years now. I remember someone posting them on the old board.Oh btw, yesterday, in Applebee's they had the Oregon game on and I was really digging those helmets. Those would look pretty cool. What are your guy's and girl's opinions on blue pants just as an alternate?
-
sounded like it. He was talking about going home and finding an agent, and where to train.I don't believe he has committed to the draft at this point, at least not officially
-
what's it like in lala land?We are drafting Luck. You can make all the polls you want, but this is whats going down. We Draft Luck, Peyton restructures his 28$mil bonus so that we can keep him at least one more year while he grooms Luck. At end of the year, we trade Peyton to his choice of team to compete for another Superbowl in his final 2 years of NFL play.

weeden outshines luck.

Overtime nice. Hope its osu ball. Wouldn't mind seeing some more blackmon
-
this guy isn't even a colt yet, and you already want to talk mess about peyton like he did nothing for the colts.Great play by Luck. Peyton would have hit the deck on that play and given up the sack.
-
Now I remember why I don't watch college football. 1:00 left and you can march down the field with screens and checkdowns

Man, how I wish blaclmon was a colt.
