  1. It seems like the team took him this far, not the other way around.

Yeah you have a right to your own feelings.

However, I didn't have a problem with it. For as bad as people tried to say he was...it is remarkable that he took the team as far as he did. So I think it was worthy of conversation. What bothered some was that they were perplexed as to how/why he was succeeding. He was playing outside of his own limitations and because people couldn't explain his success and resented that he unashamedly attributed his success to his personal faith, they took issue with him. They hated on Tebow because they didn't like "the message" he carried. Nevertheless this doesn't come as a shock to him nor to anyone else who calls him/herself a brother or sister of his in the faith. He will continue to carry on and will be even stronger for it.

  2. I don't hate Tim Tebow, how could anyone with his attitude? I just don't understand why people give him a pass (not this game) for sucking for 3 qtrs, just because one or two passes were made in OT, and then have the nerve to call him great. I like Tim Tebow the person, but that doesn't make me crazy enough to think he's a good qb.

    31.6 average as well.

    Tebow played great football today.

  3. I'd take Tebow over Cam Newton.

wouldn't doubt it. I know, I know, What Cam has done means nothing. He hasn't proved anything, the verdict is still out on him. Defenses just need to figure him out. Tim Tebow to you has a better chance at being a better qb. Heck he's prolly better than Newton now.
  4. Has Cam completely proven himself, do you not remember Vince Young's rookie season? Those cocky QBs don't make it far, he needs to play well consistently over the next two years before I call him a good NFL QB.

dude, don't try and take credit from Cam. If that was Luck with those stats you'd be ranting and raving over how well he did. Also, Vince young was a head case (can you blame him) whose coach didn't want him since draft day.
  5. Even as a Peyton fan, it bodes well for him since he can hopefully finish his career on a TEAM and not have to lug around a bunch of refuse. Maybe he'll even get some more rings for his fingers.

Manning being traded would not be the worst thing in the world for the Colts OR him.

As a Manning fan, and colts fan, this sounds ok to me. I would love to see peyton in a position to win some more hardware. Sadly, I don't believe he'll do so with us, because I feel we need too many improvements in other areas. He ain't getting much younger. I could see him on a team close to winning it all, but with (Sf, or Ny?) no qb. It could be a win for the colts too, because if Luck is what everyone makes him out to be, we can get back to being a contender. Afterall, it's gotta be tough to pass up the best prospect "since john elway".
  6. Oh btw, yesterday, in Applebee's they had the Oregon game on and I was really digging those helmets. Those would look pretty cool. What are your guy's and girl's opinions on blue pants just as an alternate?

would love for us to get some blue pants with the white stripes. Those nike uni's are fake they've been on the internet for a couple of years now. I remember someone posting them on the old board.
