You think Chicago will trade away the chance to draft Caleb Williams?????

Bears will do stupid thing and trade again. Could have had CJ last year at 1. If trade, do not go past 2 or 3 so Cards get Harrison. Fields, HC and OC not the answer.

That is interesting...more blue chippers to target in the Top 15 does give Ballard options, even if he decides to move back. Some fans won't be fans of him moving back though, some I am sure have gotten tired of it.

Always moves back except last year of course.

People are acting like this was a mad scientist play call. He schemed a RB wide open on a simple pass, and the QB and RB didn't do their jobs.

You want to see a coach get "cute," go watch the Lions/Cowboys ending again.

In general I hate this criticism. No one accuses a coach of trying to get cute when the offense is making huge plays. It's entirely reactionary and based only on the outcome.

Don't use a RB who rarely plays and had 6 catches all year in that situation.

  4. Think Flaco would have thrown a better pass. Why owe why Shane makes a play to thrown to someone who barely plays. Not the time to get foolish.

I truly hope that Ballard makes some aggressive FA move(s) this offseason WHILE we have QB and LT on rookie contracts

If we aren’t in playoffs next year….. I think you HAVE to make a change at GM

Ballard always bargain bins FA shopping. Really have to shore up secondary.

  5. Another horror Colts playoff lost. Ranks up there with: Baily drop ball, Vandy wide right, Bens shoe string tacke, and best of all; Ghost to the Post.

After taking a few hours of sleep, my world looks a lot brighter. I was really angry right after the game. And I know I'm mostly on the negative side when things are not going in the right direction come game day.

But after waking up with my 5 month old son smiling at me, my feelings have lighten up.

It's football and yes we all live the colts and I love all those feelings that come with it. The good and the bad.

But if I look at the season, we did more good than bad. We have a first year headcoach who's still learning and a really young secondary that was not 100% scheme fit drafted for our DC(my opinion).

We had Minshew starting almost the whole season and are still above .500.

Overall,I think this team is trending in the right direction and will play meaningful football in December and probably in January for the next years to come.

And I think that we as Colts fans should be more happy about our team than most of the other franchises in the NFL.

Can't wait for the next season!

ps: this was a great year just for seeing Colts beat Pats live in the Stadium 🤪

    Not exactly the Brady Pats.

I agree with the Goodson call. That's on Steichen. However, the receiving core is really bad. That's on Ballard. Even Pittman has off days. Look at Nico Collins. He was the only threat today and he dominated. Just another example of another team getting a no1 that turns out better than ours. Now we may not keep Pittman. He's a FA. We probably do, but you never know. Pierce is a bust at this point. Granson is useless with Minshew at QB, same with Pierce. We may be Downs to Pierce, Downs and junk at WR and have another desperate need at the position if we don't re-sign Pittman. Seems like this team always has a ton of needs every offseason. That's what happens when you pretty much only build through the draft.

Wr has been a problem since Ballard has been here. No consistent 1; no body to pick up slack at 2.

  7. Shane gets too cute at times and why have lousy QB try make a play. Reminds me of Carroll bone head call on not using Lynch at Superbowl goal line. If play doesn't work with JT run then would accept it. No guarantees Colts would score anyway.
