  1. I credit Rice for Young and Montana's success more than I credit them for his. Yes I know Rice wasn't with Montana the whole time but all those other HoFers were. Young was 1 tough sonofagun but his offense was always stacked...not just Jerry.

  2. If RGIII is healthy, forget the Redskins. Not that they'll win the SB, but they'll win some games. If he's not healthy, they should attempt to trade him for that pick or the next best available thing because if he's not healthy yet he never will be.

  3. Jerry Rice isn't the only player to work as hard as he's worked, but trying to rank some kind of top 10 hardest working NFL players would be pointless. As far as I'm concerned, guys like him and those from his mold are all tied for first.

I also remember something that typifies Jerry Rice. During garbage time of SB XXIX, the announcers very seriously and clearly explained that if Jerry had his way, training camp would start tomorrow.

  4. NFC South

    2. Packers

    3. Giants

    4. Falcons

    5. Seahawks

    6. Panthers

This is way more unpredictable than the AFC. Lovie might turn the Buccs around, the worst coach in the league might get carried to a few wins by the talented Lions players, RGIII could actually be healthy, and more.

  5. AFC South

    1. Colts } the NFC North

    2. Texans } of the AFC,

    3. Jaguars } only the 1st

    4. Titans } team is actually good. Really the last 3 is whoever accidently wins 7 or 8 games first to last.

    AFC East

    1. Patriots } same...only

    2. Jets } people don't

    3. Bills } pretend

    4. Dolohins } different and of course the Pats remain decent

    AFC West

    1. Broncos

    2. Chargers

    3. Chiefs

    4. Raiders

    AFC North

    1. Bengals

    2. Ravens

    3. Browns

    4. Steelers

    1. Patriots

    2. Broncos

    3. Colts

    4. Bengals

    5. Ravens

    6. Chargers

The Browns could shake things up if Johnny Football is good, or even if he isn't good and has some type of Tebow year. The Texans could also shake things up or spoil some things for teams at the and if Case Keenum goes off. I'm still an EJ Manuel fan too. Maybe the Bills will win a few games. I'm actually a Seminole fan who thinks he's better than Jameis Winston. We only lost in 2012 because our coach is an *.

  6. Sliding for 2 on 3rd and 8 with a minute left in the playoff game (Rodgers) and setting playoff records in garbage time of a game you never led in (Brees) isn't a quarterback I want no matter how good all that looks on paper against the Eli, Flacco and Wilson (the last 3 SB champions). Yes I know the 2 other guys I mentioned would make up the last 5 SB champions but they have the refs to thank for that and only 1 playoff win since.

  7. Eli, while not successful lately, isn't "lost" out there. He's doing what Favre did in 2005, Marino towards the end, Young at times, etc. He's throwing up prayers because that's all he has (well had as far as last year...haven't seen him this year yet and I don't go by preseason anyway. Favre always blew chunks in the preseason and the Lions always destroy the Pats in the week 3 dress rehearsal).

I'd rather go down swinging with Eli, Favre etc. than I would counting my QBR points with Rodgers, Brees (lately) when down by a couple touchdowns.

  8. Bradshaw, Warner, and Stabler were all league MVPs. Eli was never even close to being that.

They were also erratic with the football at times, benched, and ran out of town. That sorta falls under the term inconsistent.

  9. So there was 1 team in the AFC better than them? That still makes them pretty good to me. They were favored outside of the people whose thought process was "the Giants have the Pats number for reasons I can't explain." Don't get me wrong...I get that in football. It just happens sometimes but not because anything involving how a team matches up.

  10. O come on guys...we all know the answer(s) to this. It all depends on the situation, and there's really no wrong answer. Brett Favre wanted to beat the Packers 77-0 for personal reasons. Peyton Manning, no matter how much he downplays it, wanted to beat the Colts just as bad but he probably would have settled for 24-17 minus the personal reasons.

  11. I've met Peter Warrick and BJ Daniels (Seahawks 3rd QB) more than once. They are cool as f***. I work as a the VIP parking lot attendant at the biggest club in Tallahassee. I didn't know who BJ was and was stern with him about the fact that he wasn't going through my gate. He could have had me canned on the spot but unlike the guest DJs, bottom feeding leeches who call themselves promoters, and other wannabes who have b**** fits when I do my job and charge them for parking that they think they shouldn't pay for, he explained who he was. The standoffish part of the convo ended when I asked who the Seahawks backup was. He was like Tavaris duh and he LET ME HOLD HIS SB RING!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to meet my favorite player ever though, Brett Favre! I went to the 2010 Saints game hoping to be a part of history when the Vikings became the uncrowned SB champions. That obviously never happened and I was heartbroken. I saved and saved for that trip, the only NFL game I've ever been to. That was the closest I'll ever get to meeting I suppose. Atleast I saw him throw 1 touchdown pass.
