The 49ers need to get rid of whatever little tΠrd keeps running the good coaches off.

How funny would it be if Jim just said fine go back to NEVER WINNING and walked

1999 was a fun year...The Greatest Show on Turf overshadowed alot of other stuff that made 1999 1 of the funnest years ever.

Luck should never shave. That beard is like Samsons hair & if you cut it off he loses his powers. The only difference being that Andrew Luck likely won't come back to destroy any temples or take out the people who wronged him out.
Troy Polamalu is suffering from the Samson affect since thinning his hair.

I didn't exactly mean that negatively. I think that at this point he just says dumb things then laughs at everybody who reports it followed by the people who get all ruffled about it. Sheik had some of that going on and eventually made a ton of money off of it lol!

I don't expect everyone to get that reference but if you remember the infamous shoot interview about Brian Blair then you get it.

I'm convinced that the players don't love Jim Harbaugh as much as other players loved Dick Vermeil but this has been blown out of proportion. I seen the blurb about Peyton's and Jim's game of catch and that "mustard" comment posted on the internet several times now. The sportswriter said you can guess how well that went over. Yeah...I can guess he was clearly joking and that Peyton clearly knew that. If any sportswriter knew of anything negative that Peyton Manning had to say about Jim Harbaugh for that comment then he would have spelled it out and basked in ever letter.......and he woukd have done it in 2012.

This was after they'd made it to the goal line in the no huddle. Chilly sent in the Goal Line O which had been struggling. Favre waved them off then Chilly burned a time out. Fast forward to 3rd down and Favre audibled to a run out of the passing O and AP walked in. Rodgers wishes he could do anything like this or what Peyton did on a Monday night against TB.

I'm bored at work. You know what my alltime favorite 4th QTR NFL comeback was? Well technically it wasn't a comeback because Adrian Peterson fumbled it away in OT but I'm talking about the game Favre tied after being down by 20 against Chicago in 2009. That was 1 of his best games out of all 20 seasons and it was the closest to 90s Favre that we'd ever seen since 1999. It was sleeting, the Vikes had lost 2 of 3 and appearing to be collapsing. 40 year old Favre said $#&! this and won that game. I bet nobody remembers the story behind this play (next post...stupid mobile site).

And Marty????? ^^^^^^ ??????

That's just it ^. That's the only reason they're there which is why what they say sometimes (usually in the case of a Bill Belichik, Nick Saban, etc) means precisely jack.
-
If they lose every game, heck if they go 8-8, then Bill has to make changes but improving on media day isn't 1 of them. The stock people put in what coaches say behind that podium, especially coaches like Bill, is silly.

Thank a few losers from the 2000s for these rules. Seriously, we were about to see a Shawn Michaels/Canadian flag celebration from Chad Johnson or somebody before the NFL cracked down.
-
I do agree that he won't stay in SF. I guess they're the new Cleveland (older versions of Cleveland anyway...team who runs off every good coach).
-
I hope ^ is true. Jim Harbaugh was a good quarterback who was fun to watch and tough as football sized nails. He was just overshadowed by Favre and Young and didn't get a few breaks. Those are usually the type of guys who become HoF coaches which is why I don't buy this stuff either.

That rule is already in place. Calls happen all the time which are followed by the ref saying "there is no infraction for such and such on the play" followed by a the specific explanation pertaining to the play. They just blew that one.I'm referring to at the moment the mistake occurs, immediately reverse the penalty before the next play is called. You have announcers all the time saying, "That's a dumb penalty" before play resumes, so you know the officiating crew at the office should have plenty of time to realize it's dumb too, contact the ref on the field, and get it reversed. Since it's a penalty, hurry up offenses can't rush to the line to get the next play off anyways.
But under different circumstances, what if it had?
-
If that happens, can we all FINALLY agree that the refs cater to Brady lol
-
How exactly do you reverse it now? Go back in time and wave the flag off?

Monday won't be the Pat's biggest embarrassment this season (Bengals, Broncos, Colts, Chargers) but weeks 15,16 and 17 are all of their division rematches. That almost gives then the division because by then those teams will be looking ahead to next season.
-
Actually Deion hates the 49ers ever since Jerry Rice put him in his place in the summer of 1994 so...
-
I know right ^. It's like they want to lose (Mike did go 8-8 which hadn't been done in years).
-
You cant arbitrarily write off the teams GB faces the most. You have to accept results even if they don't fit the theme
And so do you...it was the JETS AND THE BEARS MAN :-|

I know it works that way...incorrectly. I won't give Cleveland or Oakland any advice since they've been winning so much with all their draft picks.

Everybody says "if so and so played today he'd have all the records!" What about Flutie? The biggest statpadder in the game today couldn't keep a job over Doug Flutie for years before the passhappy era.
