  1. I'm convinced that the players don't love Jim Harbaugh as much as other players loved Dick Vermeil but this has been blown out of proportion. I seen the blurb about Peyton's and Jim's game of catch and that "mustard" comment posted on the internet several times now. The sportswriter said you can guess how well that went over. Yeah...I can guess he was clearly joking and that Peyton clearly knew that. If any sportswriter knew of anything negative that Peyton Manning had to say about Jim Harbaugh for that comment then he would have spelled it out and basked in ever letter.......and he woukd have done it in 2012.

This was after they'd made it to the goal line in the no huddle. Chilly sent in the Goal Line O which had been struggling. Favre waved them off then Chilly burned a time out. Fast forward to 3rd down and Favre audibled to a run out of the passing O and AP walked in. Rodgers wishes he could do anything like this or what Peyton did on a Monday night against TB.

  3. I'm bored at work. You know what my alltime favorite 4th QTR NFL comeback was? Well technically it wasn't a comeback because Adrian Peterson fumbled it away in OT but I'm talking about the game Favre tied after being down by 20 against Chicago in 2009. That was 1 of his best games out of all 20 seasons and it was the closest to 90s Favre that we'd ever seen since 1999. It was sleeting, the Vikes had lost 2 of 3 and appearing to be collapsing. 40 year old Favre said $#&! this and won that game. I bet nobody remembers the story behind this play (next post...stupid mobile site).

  4. I'm referring to at the moment the mistake occurs, immediately reverse the penalty before the next play is called. You have announcers all the time saying, "That's a dumb penalty" before play resumes, so you know the officiating crew at the office should have plenty of time to realize it's dumb too, contact the ref on the field, and get it reversed. Since it's a penalty, hurry up offenses can't rush to the line to get the next play off anyways.

But under different circumstances, what if it had?

That rule is already in place. Calls happen all the time which are followed by the ref saying "there is no infraction for such and such on the play" followed by a the specific explanation pertaining to the play. They just blew that one.
