He did a stupid, orchestrated "keep away" idiocy last week when breakjng the record, and now moans and groans about a guy doing his job.
Suck it up, spoiled brat. Once again, for the millionth time in his career, Peyton comes off as bratty because something didn't happen the way that he wanted.
I love Peyton for everything he did for the Colts. Always will. He's the greatest thing that ever happened to my team.
But that orchestrated and rehearsed TD celebration is way too Ocho Cinco for my taste. And this tantrum is impossible to defend.
-
Not particularly.
The refs (and the league) are going to be watching this * like a hawk now, and he knows it.
-
I root for the Browns any time they're not playing the Colts.
Glad to see them looking like they're getting things on track.

Bad tie for Cincy after the Ravens crushed the Panthers in Baltimore.
It's a tie on the record, but that's a loss for the Bengals. They say there's no moral victories, but that is a moral loss.

I really don't think Luck can audible. I really believe when he says "Kill" or "Let It Roll" it's just a dummy audible
There's no way being in his 3rd year that he shouldn't be running the show given what he's shown when they do give him the keys in the 2min drills
Wasn't one of the offseason stories that Luck was going to be given more control of running the offense?
Was that plan scrapped, just nonsense, or does he have the control and just isn't doing it well?

Thumbs Up.
It's working. Go with the hot hand.

For what it's worth, I just saw this on Rotoworld:
A.Q. Shipley will start at center in Week 3 against the Jaguars.
Shipley has graded out as a top-ten center by Pro Football Focus through two games. He'll remain the starter even with Khaled Holmes (probable, ankle) healthy enough to return.

Hey, Jared. Since you offered, here's my roster. Any thoughts or suggestions? James Jones is available and I'm tempted to pick him up, but don't know who I'd drop for him.
QB - Andrew Luck
RB - Lesean McCoy
RB - Alfred Morris
WR - Roddy White
WR - Andrew Hawkins
FLEX - T.Y. Hilton
TE - Dennis Pitta
K - Justin Tucker
DEF - Patriots
BENCH
QB - Joe Flacce
RB - Deangelo Williams
RB - Jerick McKinnon
WR - Larry Fitzgerald
WR - Josh Gordon
TE - Larry Donnell
DEF - Bengals
EDIT: My strategy has always been to not pick up drop players based on a weekly matchup. I try to pick up and drop based on who's likely to be the strongest through the season. (Hence, stashing Gordon and McKinnon). So, that's kind of the angle I'm looking from. Thanks in advance!

I was *this* close to pulling the tigger on it, but held off.
The Pats D ended up scoring me 34 points.
-
I know it's very early in the season, but I'm debating dropping the Patriots defense to pick up the Dolphins defense.
The other D I'm carrying on my team is the Bengals.
Any thoughts on the swap? -
Why is Roger Goodell held to a higher standard than the Atlantic County prosecutor in handling a criminal case?
Maybe they exist somewhere on the Internet, but I've yet to see any calls here for James McClain's head for letting Rice opt for treatment rather than prosecution.

After the Colts, I root for the Browns (though I'm rethinking that with Manziel) and the Packers.
I also root for whomever is playing the Patriots and Bengals.
I can come up with a reason to root for one team or the other in just about any NFL matchup.
-
No, you're right. This is from the Direct TV website "...Despite Raycom’s unnecessary blackout, NFL and college football fans can see all of the first few week’s action uninterrupted, and the majority of ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC series won’t premiere for several more weeks."
THAT'S what I read. When I went back and looked for it, I couldnt find it.
-
I'm not sure how it will work, but I have read that NCAA and NFL games will not be affected by the blackout.Wasn't sure if this was the right spot for this, but..........
Where's a good place to watch the Colts/Broncos this Sunday Night, should DirecTV & NBC not resolve their little spat in time?
I'm in the Westfield area.
*Edit*. Looks like I misread. Sorry. Antenna will be the only way.

If it was anyone other than a QB making the gesture, it's really no big deal...or at leas tnot as big a deal.
Most other QBs aren't an all-around punk.
-
The AFCCG is an obvious choice, but I was at the Chiefs playoff game, so I might have to go with that.
-
Thanks for the heads-up!

1) Dallas Clark
2) Peyton Manning
3) Reggie Wayne
4) Jeff Saturday
5) Robert Mathis
What do you think the chances are that we will see Dallas in the Ring of Honor?

USA Today article directly addresses the criticism and accusatioins: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2014/06/16/marvin-harrison-saved-my-life-philadelphia-indianapolis/10637691/

Solid veteran Safety. Been shooting a documentary on him for the last year, and elated that now he's a Colt. Good football player, amazing human being.
Very cool. Where can we see the full documentary?
-
Not sure he ever signed up for this version of the forum; he was on a bunch of earlier ones and left primarily for elsewhere in one of the migrations; I'm thinking it was the mycolts.net change. His username was always 'neilkelty', except in our fantasy football league, where he was 'SweatyWagonLollipopKebabs'.
Damnit, never got a chance to ask him where that name came from.
Wow. I actually remember seeing his name. I never conversed with him, but this is really sad to see.

I admittedly haven't read through the dozen or so pages on this, but just out of curiosity...
Did the talk of the Colts offering a draft pick to sweet talk the Browns into letting Mack go come from a report/analyst, or is it just an idea that was generated on here?
-
1) A little. Mainly just to get a bit of an NFL fix. Especially with how little involvement we'll have in the draft.
2) Yes. Trying to spin it positive, maybe this forces us to bring in some proven talent free agents?

If you don't want to be criticized by fans and media, get a job bagging groceries.
If you don't want to be insulted on Twitter, don't tweet.

I came on to make a post about Newsome's performance, but I'll just jump in here.
Some stats for Newsome that I grabbed from colts.com: 7 tackles, 5 solo, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 2 tackles for loss, and another hit on the quarterback.
Really glad to see him playing so well.
