I was thinking about this. We could easily have 2 picks in a row. Their first pick in the 2nd round and our last pick in the 1st round
Sure thing, winning Super Bowls are super easy, the hard part of this will be the Redkins need a worse record than the Dolphins.

After Turay was hurt why didn't the game clock start up? Both teams were out of timeouts and we just got a sack. They waited to start it on the hike.

agree, I think he gets out of this slump vs. falcons. I would prefer not to have boo-birds cackling for a 2nd time this season at LOS.
This is my worry. The boo-birds story for Luck was overblown in my opinion (it wasn't that many fans and other cities would have done much worse) but the front office is setting us up for failure if Adam costs us the game against the Falcons.

It's easy to say this as a fan who has no real financial investment in the players. But it's not always that simple for the franchises in what is a highly competitive industry. Imagine if you're the Steelers. Le'Veon Bell sits out a whole year, then moves onto another team and you get nothing in return. He did sit out and he did lose money, but at the end of the day, he moved onto another team and got a big contract. The Steelers lost a very talented player and gained nothing. Had they traded him, even if it was for lesser value, they'd at least get something in return instead of nothing at all. Would you rather sit Le'Veon just to spite him and get nothing in return, or would you rather trade him for a 4th round pick and get that in return?
I'm pretty sure the Steelers will get a 3'rd round compensatory pick. So it's late 3'rd round vs. 4'th in your scenario.

Tell would still be the fourth corner and they might not have a choice that’s what injuries do.
He might even be fifth... remember the kid we claimed on cut weekend?

Tell on julio no thanks
Where did you get that crazy idea? TBH though he's a mismatch for all our corners.

I also noticed Geathers played a lot more on special teams today
And some nickel linebacker too.

You really going to trust tell against the falcons. He is still way to green. Only reason he didn’t go to the PS is they were afraid of losing him.
Much more than Collins. Collins has lost his confidence plus they would play just a few snaps anyway.

Depending how bad it is my guess we will call Collins up from the Ps. This also probably leaves them unable to keep CK on the 53.
Nonsense...Desir would be inactive instead of Tell. No changes needed so Kelly to the 53.

Jurrell casey isn't a scheme fit
Derrick Henry is wayyyy too overated( Dude had only a few good games last year)
Taylor lewan we don't need another lineman at the price he would cost
Jeffery Simmons is an off the field concern
Kevin Byard is getting old and we already have players at his position
Dion Lewis isn't that great to begin with
I would want AJ Brown
Byard came into the league in 2016, he is just getting into his prime.
Even with you knocking down all the names I threw out there, you were still able to find 1 guy you'd take.

Nah I'm good
I understand not liking them as a team but this isn't rational at all.

There's literally not one single player on their roster that i would want. Like seriously.
Then you seriously, like seriously, are wearing Colts colored glasses. Jurrell Casey? Derrick Henry? Taylor Lewan? Jeffery Simmons? Kevin Byard? Dion Lewis?

Perhaps. But keep in mind, you don’t have 53 active on game day. Matter of fact, If I recall right that number is either 46 or 48 active on game day.
2 minutes ago, holeymoley99 said:Colts are going with 52 this week it now appears.
I highly doubt it. If we do I'll eat crow on Sunday.

Agreed. I think they’ll either try for a RB or simply leave the spot open until Kelly gets free from NFL Jail. Especially can see the later happen
There is a zero percent chance we only have 52 on our roster come game day.

I went 8-9, last season we needed 10 to make the playoffs. 9 could get us in though, sometimes it does.
The Seahawks got in 1 year at 7-9. Our division isn't bad enough to where 7-9 could win it for us though. I think we'll win 8 or 9 games.

Game action is different. It also migh take a game for Reich to figure out the best offensive game plan. The blueprint on how we win this year is that cowboys game last year. I think the redskins game was another where Luck didn’t have huge numbers.
Not buying it. Every team is now going to have to get warmed up from not playing many 1's in the preseason. If Reich can't figure out a game plan for a QB he's had his entire head coaching career that he raves about then he doesn't belong in coaching.

I also think we could lose just because it might take a game for the offense to settle in and play without luck.
Jacoby has been with the first team offense for most of training camp, the offense is settled in already.

That's the problem...they don't know how long they will need an extra backup, 2 weeks or 16 weeks or somewhere in between. I would think that Kelly would be fully up to speed as a backup by the end of the Colts bye week at week 6 at the latest.
Why wouldn't he be up to speed on week 3? He's been with the team all off-season.

Wasnt surprised by green at all. Didnt make even a single play. Not even sure about PS. We will probably replace him on PS with somebody else.
He made a play in the last game. He totally blew up an olineman and got a TFL. Still not good through 4 games but no sense not giving him some credit where it was due.

Go big or go home, and no it's not a bad analogy to comp Jacoby to Dalton, whether you "co-sign" or not. Both guys are average, that's just the way it is.
How do we know Jacoby is average? We have no clue how good or bad he'll be. In 2017 he had 1 week to learn the offense and his team before being thrown to the wolves. In the 4th quarter we told the defense if it was run or pass by the formation we were in. 2017 did prove one thing about Jacoby, he can take a beating. Dalton has had years of starting experience, Jacoby just 15 games.

The OL was neglected for many seasons.
This just isn't true. Every year they spent resources on the OL. The problems never got fixed and the players they signed and drafted mostly didn't work but it wasn't neglect.

Will you guys tough out the season knowing things look grim, or spend your Sundays doing other things? Let me know, and vent below if you wish!
Things don't look grim, just not as good as before.

I hate chasing points in the first half...just makes no sense to me. Shoot, early second half I don't like it either.
