I would go with Ajayi @NFLfan for my final answer but I will feel bad if I tell you wrong. The 12 team league I am in is tight, I am 7-4, one other person is 7-4, and we have 4 others that are 6-5, then several at 5-6 LOL. The guy I am playing this week is really the only person out of it, he is 3-8. I thought you would kick out of me having Rudolph since you are a Vikings fan. Guy gave me 20 points on Thanksgiving! lmao

Yeah I was gonna say him too

So, I decided to play Jamaal Williams and not Ajayi since Ajayi has hurt me most of the year. As I suspected, the Eagles played Clement and Blount more. And Ajayi had a fumble. He scored 3 FF points.

It is the end of the first quarter, Jamaal Williams has 12.6 points. :D

It turned out that it did not really matter who I chose because after the afternoon games, I was leading my opponent by 25 points and I still had 3 guys yet to play. My opponent has no players yet to play. He was hurt by Crabtree being ejected from his game without having scored any points. Also, Fournette did not have a good game, FF-wise.

Thank you!  Wait now I’m really confused.

    Did we become best friends???

Stepbrothers, great movie if you haven’t seen it.

I’ll refrain from the Toby Biscuit comments btw.  From now on I’ll refer by his real name, Coby Triskett.

This seems out of character for you.

The OL is most responsible for your woes on offense. Fix the OL and your QBs will play better.

Schiano helped keep Sandusky out of jail. Yikes. Would not like that hire if I were a UT fan.

Did he? I did not know that. I too would not want him coaching my team. Sandusky took advantage of vulnerable boys/young men who he knew would not say anything because of their situation. I hope he is never paroled.

How did Schiano try to keep Sandusky out of jail? (You can reply later. You have Colts football to focus on today.)

Ask @NFLfan about the difference between Norv Turner and his power run/vertical pass attack  vs. Pat Shurmur and his Andy Reid type 'pass to set up the run' type west Coast offense.  She says they also adopted the ZBS (what % ot time, I'm not sure, i haven't seen much football this year). Shurmur also has spread, and speed up spread under his  belt (Chip Kelly - Eagles).  I'm sure she will say it was a big change, and a welcome one once the team buys in and 'gets it' (knowledge).

I know many are calling for that from Irsay/Ballard.  I'd like a E-P type concepts offense, personally, but anything better than what we have now.

Yes, absolutely. It is the reason we are playing so much better on offense. He has Keenum looking like a franchise QB. The offense is not predictable like it was under Turner whose offense called for 7-step drops although our OL was awful and our QB and WRs were not suited for that offense.

We might lose Shurmur if our offense continues to look this good.

Do we have an athletic zone blocking scheme type of line?  Or bulky power blocking guys?  You need a ZBS and O line that fits to run that well, and a zone run RB that knows when to flow or jump cut up the field.

What a difference a zone blocking scheme has done for the Vikings. Keenum is not much better than Brissett. Like you have told me in the past, fix the OL and the QB will play a lot better.

No worries. I like Ajayi but he has disappointed the whole year. I was very high on picking up Jamison Crowder, WR Washinton, but decided against it because I thought Juju was going to play. :( Crowder scored over 20 points in the game against the Giants on Thursday.

I am no longer in first place but I have the same record as you, 7-4. The guy at the top is 8-3. This is the first week that I am not either first or tied for first.

My guys who have been dependable all year are Russell Wilson (highest scoring player in FF) and Zach Ertz, TE Eagles. Rams D/ST have also been good but I sat them (playing Saints) in favor of Ravens D/ST (playing Texans) this week. Ravens have had 3 shutouts this year!

Need your advice, my buddies. Several of my guys are injured (Juju, Robert Woods, Davonta Freeman). I have Ajayi (against Chicago defense) and Jamaal Williams (against Pitt defense) for Flex. Who should I play? I am leaning towards Williams, as the Eagles spread the ball around to their many offensive weapons. They have 3 RBs (Blount, Clement as well as Ajayi) that share the carries. The Chicago defense has been underrated. Pitt's defense is better but I think GB will rely on the run. Williams is their starting RB and two of the other RBs are injured/inactive.

    What do you think?

He recruits surprisingly well by Kentucky standards. Usually rated somewhere between 20-30 and even had one that was rated 15. Hes probably the best recruiter in our history. I don't feel like his staff does a very good job developing talent though. I think we need a new defensive coordinator and secondary coach because I see very little development on that side of the ball. We actually have several 4 stars and even high 3 stars on defense and yet after year 5 they are still so bad.

Yeah, recruiting is just the first step. Developing the players is also important. Perhaps they can replace some position coaches, but I think UK should retain Stoops.

Good luck :) hope they win. After my cats took 2 beatdowns in a row I'm pretty down about college football. I like Mark Stoops but every year the defense is just so terrible. Needs to make changes on that side of the ball IMO.

I am sorry to hear that. You have to stick with Stoops to get some continuity. Starting all over does not lead to more success.

I think recruiting is the most important factor in winning in college football. How has Kentucky done in recruiting football players? Maybe around National Signing Day (I think that is what it is called), we can have a thread on recruiting. That is usually around Feb. 6th.

Stanford won! I was 2-1 on my upset picks.

:rock:Despite having a down year, Stanford will play in the PAC-12 Championship Game against USC. They lost big to USC earlier in the year. Their other two losses were by 3 points each, to Washington St and San Diego St.

It won't be easy but hopefully they can beat USC in the rematch. I believe the winner will go to the Rose Bowl.

Thanks, you just made me feel better lmao You are right though but Nebraska has a better tradition than Florida does. We spanked them in 1995 62-20 in the Title Game. My 95 team was the best of all-time.

I did not realize that Scott Frost played QB for Nebraska on one of their championship teams. Was he the QB of that '95 team? No wonder you want him to coach your team.

I don't recall Scott Frost from the Nebraska teams at all. I remember Tommie Frazier and Eric Crouch.
