  1. Congratulations, Colts fans. What a game by your team!  That is why you should always stick by your team.

Thankfully for me this was not showing in NY.  What an embarrassing performance by my team in our stadium!

I will be rooting for you guys to make the playoffs. Texans are panicking, benching Osweiler early in today's game. You guys have a good chance to make the postseason.  Enjoy this win!

      @2006Coltsbestever

Your relative must be surprised. I wonder what he is thinking. I think I told you and someone else here that I thought you guys could beat us. QBs like Luck, Stafford, and Brady (good QBs) give us trouble.

I also wrote in a thread that I did not think AP would do much. He is one of the most overrated players today (not his career -- just since last year). I was not excited about getting him back.

Anyway, hopefully the forum will be more positive this week. :)

Too bad they didn't show up in games that mattered....No different than the Saints right now. Lose the important games, win the meaningless ones. Both of our teams are screwing us out of better draft positions.

I really respect that about you NFLfan. You are loyal to your franchise, hanging with them despite a challenging yr, [Denny Green & Prince passing, Bridgewater down, AP only recently reactivated, Zimmer's eye situation, Norv Turner leaving the team unexpectedly, FG kicker Blair Walsh being let go permanently in November. This too shall pass my friend.] & just your overall positive outlook on things in general.

You're a valuable asset around here & I appreciate your fondness for top tier musicians & bands close to your heart too.

I took no pleasure in Minnesota's loss because I respect that football program under Zim's leadership. Was I relieved INDY won that game? Sure, but I don't gloat because I know how talented that roster really is & that the Colts just got lucky or the football gods smiled on us that Sunday that's all.

Have a Happy New Year & an even better 2017 socially, financially, & franchise based moving forward.

  2. I may have to book a trip to the UK next year. haha The Vikes are playing the Browns.  That should be a win. :) Hope you're well.

Were many tickets available to the general public who don't are not season ticket holders? What were the ticket prices reasonable?

Happy Holidays! Hope the job is going well. :)

I made a typo there. Lol. You get what I mean... Are there many tickets for those who are not season ticket holders?

      SteelCityColt

Yes, you can buy single game tickets. Last time around there were still tickets for the games right up to the event itself.

  3. All the best to my beloved 16-year-old nephew Christopher as he travels today to study one semester in France with his senior high school class.

Blessed and safe travels, Chris. As Tim McGraw says, remember to remain humble and kind as you prepare for the rest of your life.

If anybody can make it back & play again it will be Teddy B. We are all pulling for him & hope to see him back under center, healthy & competing again real soon. The league needs more Teddy Bridgewaters. To all his fans & you especially, we as more than fans of football but fans of humanity want this man back ASAP.

@coltsfansince65 Thank you so much for that. I appreciate it.

Enjoy the good weather while it lasts. I heard our area will have bad weather on Sunday.

All the best to the Colts!

      Sorry Lady...I feel for you!

  5. Sad day in Vikings land. Former Head Coach Denny Green has passed away unexpectedly. He was the head coach at the time that I became a football fan. The teams were talented and I loved watching them. We never made it to the Promised Land but I appreciated the football nonetheless. Thanks Denny. May you rest in peace.

Just heard this & was coming here to post. Sad news indeed. I believe he was only 67 or so as well.

      RIP Denny Green

  6. Not a great day to be celebrating a birthday... Thoughts and prayers for all those who have lost loved ones in these senseless killings the past few days in Dallas, MN, and other places.

I met him one time.  He came to our station before a show.  He was the most humble, kind, and sincere man.  He was a bizarre and complicated genius.  I think that's why he is probably my favorite artist of all time.  Truly a sad day when he passed.

@radiogirl, I know I loved rock n roll growing up but liked him, but he did rock with his guitar play. I never watch the SB halftime show but I did when he played Purple Rain during our win.

I've met a lot of people in my life and encountered so many musicians, 2006CB, but he struck me as special.  He was so gifted musically.  A sharp wit with a pinch of sarcasm.  Honestly, I think he was one of the most brilliant artists out there.  He wrote SO MUCH music in such a wide range of formats and styles and his performances were among the best.  He will truly be missed.

  8. So happy for Villanova and the Big East. A few years after the Big East was dismantled, they are once again winners of the tournament. Congrats to Nova, the players,  the coaches and the Big East!

They were easy to root for. They don't have the most talented team and they seem humble. Their best players are juniors and seniors. It was a great game and Nova deserved to win.

I like your new avatar NFLfan! I'm expecting big things from Mr. Bridgewater this year. Minnesota will regroup from the 49ers game & be just fine. Trust me. SW1 is sold on Zimmer & Turner.

Thank you for the words of encouragement. That was an embarrassing display last Monday night. :( I may have to change the avatar again if they have another clunker against the Lions this Sunday.

All the best to you and the Colts.

No worries NFLfan. I like you Purple People Eaters squad a lot. INDY got embarrassed too vs Buffalo as well so I tend to view situations longterm [a marathon vs a sprint kind of thing.] The Vikings have nothing to fret over. Remember, that was the 1st time AP & Bridgewater were on the field at the same time. Keep your avatar. It's a good omen for Minnesota's future success to me. Every team has growing pains right now. Thanks 4 your kind words as well. :)

Ditto, my dad and I argue at times over issues being in different generations and views but he's a cool guy deep down in the end who can be hilarious too.
