Realistically, in my opinion, the two things we needed to see from Richardson are flashes of being a special talent and control of the O overall.(line of scrimmage and all that) I think he showed promise yesterday and he will keep improving and it will be damn exciting. I'm all here for it.

That was a lot of FUN, we did a lot better than expected. RB is an issue, I like Jackson but we need more depth. WRs need to start stepping up Defense showed up big Zaire Franklin is a menace EJ Speed will have a breakout year imo. Corners I'm not sure what to say yet, need to see more of the tape.

Sad to see this happening but it is the way of the markets. Simple supply and demand. They way the league been flooded with WR talent the past 3-4 years, it's a matter of time till similar things happen w that position. Organic circles.

Personally I’ll be surprised if Levis is a top 10 pick, maybe even top 20, imo he is in the conversation because of the constant need at qb in the league, like a Jake Locker situation But if he comes to us, we got to support him

Game and rules have changed significantly tho but I’d say whats important is significant mobility like Allen Herbert or Mahomes any extra is bonus but you got to be able to extend plays when play broken down, that extra time is so important, look where someone like Mac Jones will be ranked in the AFC this year, would have been bettern than average 20 years ago, probably projected to be bottom 5 in the afc now

AR is better than Levis in every way, pocket presense between these two are day and night Therefore, AR is more ready, between the two

the biggest issue w AR is his inexperience, 20 years old, has a rocket of an arm (Jordan Palmer said AR has one of the best arms he ever seen) and seems to be legit when it comes to attitude in my opinion, in an AFC stacked w qbs like this era, we must get Richardson to give us a chance to be great

I’ve posted this before, Reich has regressed the offense, playbook and his playcalling every year unfortunately, people hating on Ballard are just not looking at statistics and history realistically in my humble opinion

I have this feeling about Richardson becoming a stud in the NFL, not backed up by any data, he just feels like someone who can compete in this age

Unfortunately, history tells us Indianapolis with or without Ballard has never been a dream location for the higher talent of the nfl, it is what it is and Ballard has proved to be disciplined not throwing money after every chum and even when he would they CHOOSE to play elsewhere. It’s a two way street and the reason why Ballard is our gm in the first place is his skill set as a talent evaluator to draft because that’s what we do. Looking back at our free agency through Manning and Luck we have never been an active free agency franchise even w a HoF at quarterback.

People also don’t seem to realize that Indy isn’t exactly a hot destination for free agents, we might be trying to sign players but you need to go over the top like Jags do which rarely works out Ultimately we need players who want to be here and not just to cash in a check Who is the biggest Colts free agent signing of all time? Not sure myself, but doubt we had an all pro level player ever signing here
