He is very good and competitive. I just found it funny that the MVP of another Patriots SB win was found cheating (tested positive for PEDs) before the season. Patriots can't put away their reputation for cheating.
I'll give the guy a pass because idk what he was taking and I didn't watch the game so I can't say if he deserved it.
That being said, it's interesting to note that if this was MLB he wouldn't have even been eligible to play in the playoffs after his suspension. MLB finally has PED use on lock down.

I shut the game off after the missed FG. Did they hand out the MVP yet?
Has to be Edelman or Gilmore IMO. Brady winning it would be an outright joke.
It's tradition to give it to the guy who was suspended for cheating in that given year.
Has to be Edelman.

I'm not sold on him.
He's a mismatch, but go back and look at some film.
He double clutches a high percentage of his catches.
If I if it's the yips or small hands.
It's concerning.

The NFL is a joke of an organization.

He didn’t have the choice in that matter. He wasn’t the GM.
Then he gets zero credit for those drafts too.
I don't think it helps that he tried to hire McDaniels. That makes me think he doesn't care much about character.
I have no issue with him sticking to his philosophy.
I think the main issue with AB is cost and age. I'd like to have him, but it I'm in the "win now" camp after this past season. I think we're right there.

Do you know whether Ballard was the one who made that call? He was part of a team of scouts and front office executives. For all we know, he was saying the Chiefs shouldn't draft Hill, but the GM John Dorsey decided to do it anyway
I don't know what he thought either way, but he can't only get credit when it's positive.

I really don't want to hear "character matters most" from the guy who drafted Tyreek Hill and tried to hire Joshls Mcdaniels either.
I like Ballard, but he's full of crap when he says that.

Aren't TY and AB childhood friends?
As far as "lockeroom cancer" talks go, I'm willing to bet Roethlisberger (and possibly management) is the problem with the Steelers.
It says a lot when your two stud playmakers sit out.
The window to win in the NFL is typically very short. I think the team is pretty much there. I wouldn't be opposed to trading for AB, but that isn't Ballard's style.

I'll take a wild guess and say Roethlisberger (and the Steelers) is probably the turd here.
He doesnt have a great reputation.
It isn't a coincidence both of their best players were fed up.

What could Antonio Brown be worth? One higher pick?
Three lower picks?
I'd start there.

Meh.
We played awful.
Sucked just about everywhere.
I do not like our zone defense against good quarterbacks, but it is what it is.
Offense just didn't show up.
Forget about it. Sign/draft a playmaker.
We look to be very good next season.

Uh oh....

I'll be surprised if the Chiefs don't put up 30.
I'll also be surprised if the Colts don't match.
Although the Colts need one more good WR, I'll take the Colts in a shootout.
Colts - 38
Chiefs - 34

Mahomes picking apart our suspect zone defense.
We've been lucky playing some pretty bad quarterbacks.
I'm still not sold on the secondary.
If we're able to get consistent pressure then I think we'll be okay.

Only if they recover it. When the offense fumbles thru the end zone they lose possession. Nothing to not understand.
I don't understand your point. It makes no difference who recovers once the ball is out.
If the ball goes out of bounds on a fumble anywhere else on the field, the team that last possessed the ball retains possession.
Fumbling out of bounds in the endzone should work the same way. Obviously you can't just award the touchdown, but the offense shouldn't lose the ball.
I don't understand the reasoning as to why the rule is applied differently there.
I've always though it was a bad rule.

I disagree with the offense getting the ball back after fumbling the ball out of bounds in the end zone. Who is to say they would have recovered it in the field of play.
It went out of bounds though.
Anywhere else on the field and it's still the offense's ball.
I don't understand the reasoning behind the rule.

Is it possible that the Colts were holding plays back for the Chiefs? I mean not to show too much.
It's entirely possible, but I doubt it.
They just switched in the second half to minimize unnecessary risks and it worked beautifully with the defense we had.
-
I feel like I'm the only one that thought the second half was called masterfully by the Colts.
If a couple dropped passes are caught, we probably score again.
The Colts knew it was over after halftime even if the fans weren't sure.

Touchback by rule.
Touchdown in the spirit of football.
That's a dumb rule anyway. Offense should get the ball back at the one if they fumble it out of bounds in the endzone.

Stop Kelce and keep Hill in front of you and Colts win.
Not easy to stop, but doable.

We'll just do to Hopkins whatever they do to TY. Even Steven.
Hopkins is great, but his specialty is pushing off. He's never called for it.

I really believe the refs called those 5 penalties on Tennessees last drive so people would see this and assume it was evenly called. Fact is most of the game we had 9 and they had 0 or 1.
The end of the game was suspicious to me. Seems as if they were trying to make it look even.
-
Well now I expect the Colts to win. Good news.
-
I would if we didn't have TY.
I've always thought we needed a big guy opposite TY too. AB is awesome, but we don't need him for $20M.
What can we learn from the pats??

Break the rules.
Get suspended.
Win Super Bowl MVP.
I hope that's what those two are telling the kids at Disney World today.
