This is my latest attempt: I think it's a draft we could (as fans) be happy with.
26: R1P26
LB DEVIN WHITE - Imagine our LB core w/ DL, AW and DW!!
LSU
34: R2P2
DL DEXTER LAWRENCE - Disruptive DL who can also rush the QB
CLEMSON
58: R2P26
WR N'KEAL HARRY - Big bodied WR for 50/50 balls
ARIZONA STATE
89: R3P25
C DALTON RISNER - Best center in draft, need a backup for if/when Kelly goes down, can also be a G
KANSAS STATE
128: R4P26
S DARNELL SAVAGE JR. - Backup / replacement for Geathers
MARYLAND
135: R4P33
RB KARAN HIGDON - Depth RB
MICHIGAN
165: R5P26
Honestly, don't know much about the last few picks, just got best value based on draft position
CB MYLES BRYANT
WASHINGTON
200: R6P25
EDGE MALIK REED
NEVADA
242: R7P26
EDGE SUTTON SMITH
NORTHERN ILLINOIS

The “ball just has to cross the goal line” rule is a joke. If a wr has to hold onto the ball to the ground for catch, then why doesn’t a player have to have control to the ground for a TD? The NFL is contradicting itself IMO.

19: R1P19
S DEIONTE THOMPSON -- need a safety to replace Geathers, and to pair w/ Hooker
ALABAMA
36: R2P4
CB JULIAN LOVE -- good CB, improves the D
NOTRE DAME
51: R2P19
C DALTON KISNER -- need a reliable, steady backup to Kelly, have seen how important Kelly is to the offensive line
KANSAS ST.
82: R3P18
WR KELVIN HARMON -- big bodied WR, the type of WR Reich likes
NC STATE
121: R4P19
EDGE OSHANE XIMINES -- need more consistent pass rush, get more edge players and bring the heat in waves
ODU
135: R4P33
RB MIKE WEBER -- the big banger of a RB for short distance / goal line situations
OHIO ST.
158: R5P19
EDGE JOE JACKSON -- another pass rusher
MIAMI
193: R6P18
DL DEMARCUS CHRISTMAS -- athletic DL to help w/ DL depth
FSU
235: R7P19
TE MICKEY CRUM -- need a pass catching TE to help when Doyle isn't available
LOUISVILLE

Not bad. I like Davis and Love as the first 2 picks. I don't really know much about the rest, but you seem to have hit all the positions I think the Colts need. I agree that Geathers and Hunt will be gone as well. Good job.

Reich cost the Colts this game by being either overconfident or arrogant going for both the 4th downs. After missing the 1st one, he should have just taken the FGs, as is usually done when on the road. Now, I still love Reich as our coach, but he lost this game for the team.

My ‘man crush’ for the 2nd round would be: Hernandez, Guice, & either Oliver (CB) or Miller (WR)

Here's is my final mock. Not sure how realistic it is, but I would absolutely do cartwheels if the Colts draft ended up like this.
R1P6 G Quenton Nelson
R2P4 G Will Hernandez
R2P5 EDGE Sam Hubbard
R2P17 RB Sony Michel
R3P3 LB Leighton Vander Esch
R4P4 EDGE Hercules Mata'afa
R5P3 WR DJ Chark
R6P4 LB Darious Leonard
R7P3 CB Rashad Fant

If they stay put, Quenton Nelson.
If they trade down, Roquan Smith.
This was my same thought.

Browns take Allen.
Giants up next.

Round 7 Pick 3: ValdesScantling, Marquez, WR, South Florida (A)
Probably one of my favorites.
Traded from 6 to 8 for Chicago's 1 and 2
Traded from 8 to 10 for Oakland's 1 and 2
Traded three second rounds picks to Miami to move up to 11
Not realistic (not many drafts are), but if the Colts came away with this, Ballard would win Exec of Year for the decade. Nice draft, even if not possible.

I can't stop doing these, but I believe I'd be more than happy if our draft went like this:
Chubb gives us the pass rusher the Colts have been missing since Mathis retired. LVE can help with the pass rush while also providing run support. Hernandez gives us a G with a nasty attitude and demeanor. Hopefully, that will infect the rest of the OL. And I really like Burks and Scales to build our LB core, although I think Scales can be used as a hybrid LB/S covering TE's and RB's across the middle. Cobbs gives the Colts a big WR with production to match.

Here's a draft on Rigsdon's board on Fanspeak. I went with solidifying the OL and LB positions, got a solid CB, RB, and WR. Couldn't fill all our needs, but I value protecting Luck over getting an elite pass rusher, with being in a rebuild, use next year's draft to get pass rushers while letting Basham, Sheard, and the new picks develop. I think Eberflus can manufacture a pass rush with strong LB play.6: R1P6G QUENTON NELSONNOTRE DAME36: R2P4CB CARLTON DAVISAUBURN37: R2P5G WILL HERNANDEZTEXAS-EL PASO49: R2P17LB FRED WARNERBYU67: R3P3RB RASHAAD PENNYSAN DIEGO STATE104: R4P4LB JEROME BAKEROHIO STATE140: R5P3EDGE KENTAVIOUS STREETNORTH CAROLINA STATE178: R6P4LB TEGRAY SCALESINDIANA221: R7P3WR JALEEL SCOTTNEW MEXICO STATE

I'm not sure if some of the picks will be there, but if the Colts landed this draft, I'd be happy. Good draft, fills a lot of needs.

I ran this on FanSpeak. And while I know some of the picks are not realistic, but this is how the picks went. Based on that, what do you guys think?
