I ran this on FanSpeak. And while I know some of the picks are not realistic, but this is how the picks went. Based on that, what do you guys think?

  2. This is my latest attempt:  I think it's a draft we could (as fans) be happy with.

    26: R1P26

LB DEVIN WHITE - Imagine our LB core w/ DL, AW and DW!!

    LSU

    34: R2P2

DL DEXTER LAWRENCE - Disruptive  DL who can also rush the QB

    CLEMSON

    ARIZONA STATE

    89: R3P25

  3. The “ball just has to cross the goal line” rule is a joke. If a wr has to hold onto the ball to the ground for catch, then why doesn’t a player have to have control to the ground for a TD?  The NFL is contradicting itself IMO.

  4. 19: R1P19

    Probably one of my favorites.

    Traded from 6 to 8 for Chicago's 1 and 2

    Traded from 8 to 10 for Oakland's 1 and 2

Traded three second rounds picks to Miami to move up to 11

Not realistic (not many drafts are), but if the Colts came away with this, Ballard would win Exec of Year for the decade. Nice draft, even if not possible.

  10. I can't stop doing these, but I believe I'd be more than happy if our draft went like this:

Chubb gives us the pass rusher the Colts have been missing since Mathis retired.  LVE can help with the pass rush while also providing run support.  Hernandez gives us a G with a nasty attitude and demeanor.  Hopefully, that will infect the rest of the OL.  And I really like Burks and Scales to build our LB core, although I think Scales can be used as a hybrid LB/S covering TE's and RB's across the middle.  Cobbs gives the Colts a big WR with production to match.

  13. Here's a draft on Rigsdon's board on Fanspeak.  I went with solidifying the OL and LB positions, got a solid CB, RB, and WR.  Couldn't fill all our needs, but I value protecting Luck over getting an elite pass rusher, with being in a rebuild, use next year's draft to get pass rushers while letting Basham, Sheard, and the new picks develop.  I think Eberflus can manufacture a pass rush with strong LB play.

I'm not sure if some of the picks will be there, but if the Colts landed this draft, I'd be happy.  Good draft, fills a lot of needs.
