I like this draft. The only thing I see is I’m not sure Yaya will be available in the 7th rd. If so, grab him quickly.

I did this mock with the intention of trading back for draft picks for next year. I think I got a good haul as well as addressing needs.
27. Michael Mayer, TE Notre Dame
33. Bryan Bresee, DT Clemson
35. Hendon Hooker, QB Tennessee
79. Mekhi Garner, CB LSU
106. Xavier Hutchinson, WR Iowa State
140. Joe Tippmann, OC Wisconsin
164. Nick Broeker, OG Ole Miss
223. Braeden Daniels, OT Utah
238. Kenderick Duncan, S Louisville
2024 CLE 1st
2024 HOU 1st
2024 BUF 1st
2024 BUF 2nd

I like the idea of getting one of the OT’s at 13. Start him at right tackle, move Smith to his natural position at right guard. That’s a pretty good offensive line and you’ll have AC’s replacement already primed and ready in a couple years if not sooner.
This is my thought on this. Even if not Becton, get an OT to move Smith to his natural guard position and the OL gets really solid.

The Luton QB from Oregon St sounds interesting, his stats look good (especially TD/INT ratio). To the more knowledgeable football people on here (you know who you are), what is your opinion(s) about him and what round would you expect him to be drafted? TYIA.

I like Trautman and Claypool, but not impressed by Willis? Seriously?!? Not attacking your opinion, but I completely disagree with it. The rest of your draft is “Meh” to me.
-
I like your idea of trading back and getting more picks, a very CB thing to do. Using your premise, I tried to do the trades on First-Pick draft and this is what I came up with:
Round 1 Pick 16 (ATL): Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina (A)
Round 2 Pick 2: Jordan Love, QB, Utah State (A)
Round 2 Pick 15 (ATL): Trey Adams, OT, Washington (B)
Round 2 Pick 16 (NYJ): Zack Baun, OLB, Wisconsin (B+)
Round 3 Pick 11: Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Missouri (A-)
Round 3 Pick 15 (NYJ): Bradlee Anae, DE/OLB, Utah (A)
Round 4 Pick 16: AJ Dillon, RB, Boston College (A+)
Round 5 Pick 14: Antonio Gandy-Golden, WR, Liberty (A+)
Round 6 Pick 12: Cohl Cabral, C, Arizona State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 14: Gabriel Davis, WR, Central Florida (A+)
Round 7 Pick 13: Damon Hayes, CB, Rutgers (A-)
I know this isn’t realistic, but this is how this mock draft went.

Yes he was snubbed, but the Colts had a down year, so he was never going to win it.

Davidson is actually a DT. Showed up to the Senior Bowl at 297. Not sure if that would change your mock but just throwing that out there.
I would have picked the next highest rated Edge player. FanSpeak has him listed as an edge. Thanks for the heads up.

Nice draft. Fills needs and able to develop the QB.

My last mock was not well received, so here’s another attempt. Colts get the QB of the future, a couple of players on the DL, help with run defense and pass rush, and 2 weapons on offense. Rounds 5-7, I just took players based on need, I don’t know too much about them specifically. Thoughts?

So I was messing around and mocked this draft on FanSpeak, your thoughts? I wanted to get Gordon in the 4th Rd, but the Seahawks grabbed him.

I loved Pat Beach. He lived above my grandma in an apartment complex in Carmel. Super cool guy. He would come fish with me behind their building
I always liked Pat Beach. The year the Colts came to Indy, I went to Lawrence North HS for one of the Colts meet and greets. Pat Beach put me on his shoulder so I could dunk a basketball. Great memory.

I have to believe that Campbell represents the biggest threat to Carlos Rogers’ future with the Colts. Not just because of his skill set as a receiver, but because he can return kicks, especially punts.
You mean Chester?

Greedy Williams would be a great get
-
I love the first 4 picks. Not sure how realistic it is, but I would be happy with this draft.
-
Good draft. Not sure about the 5 & 6th rd picks (don’t know anything about really), but this seems realistic.

Not bad, I like a lot of the picks. But if Greedy Williams is available at 26, I’d have to give real consideration to picking him. I think he can be special. Then Tillery might slide to #34. Otherwise, nice mock.
-
Not bad. Just not sure why you drafted 2 LBs. One, maybe. But 3? Unless they are known as pass rushers. Admittedly, I know nothing of either.
-
After listening to Stephen Holder’s latest podcast, I did this draft (on the draft network site) with getting a future backup QB. I really like doubling down on the DL. We get 2 DBs that I believe can contribute right away. WR & TE for depth and as future replacements. An OT for depth and Love as a 7th rd pick is just icing on the cake. What do you guys think?

I like this draft. Love worries me a little, would rather have a bruising back to pair with Mack. But I wouldn’t be upset if this is how the draft played out. Good job.

Not bad, I wouldn’t be upset with this draft. The only questionable pick would be the LB in 6th round. I’d rather take a developmental OT or G for depth. Otherwise, good job.
-
I like your 2nd round picks, but not a fan of the rest. I don’t understand why you think CB would draft a TE.

I’d rather not trade JT, but this trade would be more than fair.
