  1. My ‘man crush’ for the 2nd round would be: Hernandez, Guice, & either Oliver (CB) or Miller (WR)

  3. Here's is my final mock. Not sure how realistic it is, but I would absolutely do cartwheels if the Colts draft ended up like this. Not realistic (not many drafts are), but if the Colts came away with this, Ballard would win Exec of Year for the decade. Nice draft, even if not possible.

I can't stop doing these, but I believe I'd be more than happy if our draft went like this: Chubb gives us the pass rusher the Colts have been missing since Mathis retired. LVE can help with the pass rush while also providing run support. Hernandez gives us a G with a nasty attitude and demeanor. Hopefully, that will infect the rest of the OL. And I really like Burks and Scales to build our LB core, although I think Scales can be used as a hybrid LB/S covering TE's and RB's across the middle. Cobbs gives the Colts a big WR with production to match. 6: R1P6 EDGE BRADLEY CHUBB NC STATE 36: R2P4 G WILL HERNANDEZ UTEP 37: R2P5 LB LEIGHTON VANDER ESCH BOISE STATE 49: R2P17 CB ISAIAH OLIVER COLORADO 67: R3P3 RB NICK CHUBB GEORGIA 104: R4P4 OT BRIAN O'NEILL PITTSBURGH 140: R5P3 WR SIMMIE COBBS JR. Here's a draft on Rigsdon's board on Fanspeak. I went with solidifying the OL and LB positions, got a solid CB, RB, and WR. Couldn't fill all our needs, but I value protecting Luck over getting an elite pass rusher, with being in a rebuild, use next year's draft to get pass rushers while letting Basham, Sheard, and the new picks develop. I think Eberflus can manufacture a pass rush with strong LB play. 6: R1P6 G QUENTON NELSON NOTRE DAME 36: R2P4 CB CARLTON DAVIS AUBURN 37: R2P5 G WILL HERNANDEZ TEXAS-EL PASO 49: R2P17 LB FRED WARNER BYU 67: R3P3 RB RASHAAD PENNY SAN DIEGO STATE 104: R4P4 LB JEROME BAKER OHIO STATE 140: R5P3 EDGE KENTAVIOUS STREET NORTH CAROLINA STATE 178: R6P4 LB TEGRAY SCALES INDIANA 221: R7P3 WR JALEEL SCOTT NEW MEXICO STATE
  12. I would very happy to get a draft like this. With Chubb we get a premier pass rusher, LVE is a good to potentially great MLB, Price is a solid guard, Davis and Green shore up defense, Penny and Scott should contribute. What do you guys think?
