Football which i usually enjoy has become unenjoyable as a Colt at this point. This season is different than others that had losses, it shows that we have really regressed as a team and it is obvious this season has no hope in it.
-
Pat is a rock star, flat out one of the best, just like Luck. Too bad their GM doesn't have the insight enough to place a complete cast of players around them, or a system that works. Other players are really good also, ty, mathis, vontae. Our o-line is junk! coverage stinks. The team is demoralized at this point and understandably so. Thats lack of coaching leadership. Mr Irsay at this point has no recourse but to make changes. We have become laughable.
-
A team with one of if not the worst defense made our offense look pathetically terrible for most of that game. Oh how embarrassing.
-
Andrew Luck respectably is taking the responsibility on his shoulders.
1. His O-line sucks and he is injured because of them. This bunch has Never been good. They are often beaten and thus must commit holding penalties. Poorly talented or coached.
2. Pep's offensive schemes don't help him out much. Nothing like the schemes Peyton had.
3. We have NO pass rush.
4. Vontae is good but our coverage this year (zone) totally sucks. Like dog nanny.
5. Guys arent constantly "flying to the ball on defense, appear slow and often beaten.
6. We cannot recognize changes needed ingame and implement them. (poor coaching).
7. Saints come into our house and fool us with a similar trick play for a 1st down. How totally in your face embarrassing.
8. Words escape me.....Mr Irsay it is that awful! Time to clean house from the top down.
-
One writer on a Stampede Blue blog referred to the Colts season as a "dumpster fire". I'd say that is about spot on.
-
This season is over, obviously. Time to clean house Mr Irsay, from the top down. O-line has NEVER been fixed in this regime and just about everything else has regressed. Starts at the GM and trickles down. Better hope Andrew Luck hasn't been irreparably injured thanks to our LAME O-line. Our GM and coaches don't have a clue. We made it so far last couple yrs on the back of Andrew Luck and a couple of stars. The rest are BUMS.
-
Also we are far far from being a ground and pound team with our offensive line. Gore has been a big breath of freash air but we certainly do not have that identity yet.
-
Difficult matchups at times... usually means you guy is beaten and has to hold to stop a sack. Our line is getting beaten all the time.
-
This team can play against anyone, winning is another thing.
-
WE HAVE BECOME MEDIOCRE AT BEST.
-
i should have watched the walking dead.
-
Something has to change if we will ever expect to compete for a Super Bowl title again. As it stands it will never happen.
-
We are not a monster.....not even close.
-
in game or halftime changes were non existent in this game. how foolish to think the Patriots would not make changes on their side. NO pass rush. Brady was too comfortable throwing into a VERY soft coverage. The first half started good but this was after that one of the worst coached colts games i have recently seen. BB had a notepad and pencil...he used it and we did not use one.
-
huge let down, one of the worst because of such high expectations. i was foolish to expect such. this really motivates me to buy tickets, fly to Indy to go to a game.....NOT

Obviously this team has taken several steps backwards this year.
1. Offensive line problems still exist, penalties, sacks etc. (yes that is how Luck got injured)
2. Run defense is improved but failed when it counted last evening, (Blount ran for a td untouched)
3. zone coverage this year totally sucks, allows them to gouge us for yards.
4. Pep's pick your poison hasn't exactly worked, we're still getting poisoned.
5. still outcoached and outplayed by Bill Belichick. How embarassing.
-
Unfortunately, the Colts showed who they really were, and the Patriots showed us who they really are.
-
That is because they made changes in the second half, e.g. man coverage from zone and the Colts did not, just assume it will be ok. Our coaching staff always underestimates Bill Belichick and always gets burned. The trick play was just plain stupid. what an embarrasment. Oh and Blount ran for a td also without ever getting a finger laid on him. So much for the run stopping line when it counts. frigging useless!
-
How disappointing to see our team regress instead of get better. That falls on the GM and his staff.
-
This team looks undiciplined in all parts except for the defensive line which has improved. Everything else simply sucked. How long can Andrew Luck continue to be hit and not injured. Our offensive line is our achilles heel. The interior o-line is terrible and has been for years. Our powers that be just dont seem to understand that without a GOOD offensive line everything else offensive suffers. Ours is the worst in the league at this point.
-
We will certainly get schooled by the elite teams with offensive line play like that. You will never see crap play like that from a Bill Belichick team even though they are a cheating organization. We will never hang with the likes of Green Bay or Pittsburgh or many others playing soft zone coverage or consistently under-achieving o-line play like that. Extremely disappointing. 3 years and it is still not fixed is inexcusable.
-
These first 2 games were hard and disappointing to watch as a Colt fan. I can only think Mr Irsay must be terribly disappointed to realize his GM has failed in building the "monster" what a waste of money to put all the tools around a star quarterback but skimp on talent yet again on the offensive line (where the core problem has been for 3 years now) only to watch him run for his life, or hit throwing (causing bad throws and interceptions). How long before he gets hurt being hit so much. Our club certainly doesn't, understand o-line importance or doesn't,t care. How dumb!
-
There are a hand full of things we could do that would put us on top. We just have to do them, Dungy realizes how close we are. But remember Belichick realizes where our weaknesses are. We just need to make the weaknesses strengths! It can be done.
-
Maybe you could trade him to someone for a 5th or 6th. Doubt anyone would give you more.

Anyone can say what they want about Mr Irsay, he is a good owner, a very good owner i am sure. I feel sure he is not happy with the product he has gotten for the money he has spent. I don't blame him for any of his clubs current shortcomings. That is the GM's responsibility. Was it a good plan? yes, Talent evaluation comes from the GM and down. We cannot blame Mr Irsay, we must support him. I cannot blame him for the heated exchange in the locker room. More needs to happen.
