  1. It appears you are right. If they were announcing a move this week for the Colts / Steelers game, it would have happened by now.
  2. Dear God… 1) Losing your best player is not a blessing. 2) Taylor already missed 4 games - his legs should be rested already. 3) Do you really think this is the push to make Moss work harder? 4) Thr league is already aware of what Moss can do. This will not be some big reveal for everyone.
  3. I am going on precedent. The 2021 game day and time between the Colts and Pats was announced on Nov 23rd with the game being played on Dec 18th. Just a hunch we get word this week. I could be 100% wrong.
  4. It’s possible I suppose but many factors involved here. One of them is allowing for travel of fans to get to a game. TV ratings is another and because it’s the Steelers, that game will draw regardless.
  5. I would think this is the week that we get word on what day / time the Steelers game gets played.
  6. Yeah, saw that. The other games that are listed as tbd for that weekend are not very sexy. There will be a 4:30 game and 8pm game on that Saturday. I actually think the Colts game has a better than 50/50 chance of being moved to that Saturday.
  7. The Steeler game is still a TBD. That could be one moved into a national window I suppose.
  8. Unlikely. 1) They are not sexy. Two offensive td’s in the last two games. 2) The league likely still has scar tissue from the 5 prime time games they bored the nation with last year.
  9. I would not take his comment as confirmation of your thought. I think it had more to do with no sense is looking any further than Tampa.
  10. Seems about right. Their schedule is not overly daunting but neither are the Colts. No one sees the Colts on their schedule and immediately goes into a fetal position. They will probably sneak a win against someone they are underdogs against and lose one or two that was penciled as a win.
  11. Again - degree of the break for and against. Simple concept - the Colts’ record is exactly what it should be. They got some breaks and had breaks go against.
  12. Of course he will be played differently the next time around but that does not mean he was underestimated the first time. No chance that was the case. Stroud is playing at an all time rookie level and threw for damn near 500 yards last week. You think the Bengals looked at that and said “he’s not all that.”
  13. To your first point - Stroud was underestimated. How do you know that? Did he say that or is that just your own thought?
  14. So now we are debating the degree of breaks each team got in the Ravens and Browns game. Just easier to say it evened out, which is my entire point. The Colts are right where they should be record wise. They lost one they probably should have won. They won one they probably should have lost.
  15. 100% wrong. The reason no one is saying anything about the Ravens game is because the Colts were on the favorable end of the bad call.
  16. When you tally these should-have-been-wins at the end of the season do you also take into account the Baltimore game that was a loss if Speed was correctly called for PI. The Colts got one they probably should have lost and then lost the Browns game they should have won. It evens out.
  17. Or, hear me out, things I don’t think about at all.
  18. That dog don’t hunt. For many reasons not the least of which is that McDaniels will never be a head coach in the league again. No matter how much Kraft May like him.
  19. Only one correct answer for obvious reasons. Clipboard Jesus
  20. Perhaps soon to be re-named the Belchick and Lombardi Trophy.
  21. Really not interested in a debate on who the best coach of all time is. It’s mindless to me because there is no right or wrong answer. A case can be wellargued for several. I know the history and record of all you mentioned. I am old enough to have seen them all Coach except for Lombardi. My own opinion BB is the best. All had bad seasons and all needed good players to win.
  22. 1) I have a hard time believing they let him go mid season. He’s done too much for them to do that. If he does leave at mid-season, I think it will be at his choosing. 2) I think it far too simple to say these last few years were due to Brady and McDaniels not being there. BB to me is the greatest NFL coach of all time and I say as someone who hates him.
  23. Do you think he does not know that the NFL has a salary cap?
  24. 1) I am surprised you thought that thread belonged on the Colts page. 2) It did not slip by the masses here considering there is already a 3 page thread going on the topic. 3) Did you pull a muscle contorting yourself to pin his backing out on the Colts to Ballard? Or patting yourself on the back that this somehow fits your distorted narrative? The McDaniels / Colts thing is infinitely more on McDaniels than anyone else. Plenty of reasons to question Ballard - this ain’t one of them.
  25. I am expecting to hear that 2nd rounder for Minshew announced any minute now.
