Low key hate this pick, but this late in the draft, eh..no biggie
-
Change of direction isn't really coachable.
True. Hopefully they teach him how to set up his angles for a tackle though.
-
Sounds solid
-
Thank god hes gone
-
Love the the player hate the pick for Houston it is too good for them.
Don't worry Davis will make him invisible.

From NFL.comSTRENGTHS Plus athlete. Very good foot quickness and footwork in general. Can flip hips and get to top speed quickly. Highly productive junior campaign and has very good ball skills. Has good eyes and feel for the game. Turns and locates the ball downfield and has excellent hand-eye coordination. Competes hard and is a willing tackler. Will jump routes and try to flip the field.WEAKNESSES Level of competition isn't there. Shows tightness at the top of the route. Scouts believe he is a tick slow at the top of the route and will give up separation. More of an off-man corner who is still learning to play near line of scrimmage. Lacks long speed and could be targeted for double moves on next level. Technique as a tackler needs sharpening.

Lol at the people mad at us for taking short players
-
Yeah that's a good point unless that target gets taken, lol..........
Well we wouldn't have traded back if we were targeting someone.. It's likely our target was already taken by then
-
You guys really like this? How does this benefit the Colts???????
We only move back 4 spots to the 1st of the 3rd..... and move up like 19 spots in the 4th... Its good.
-
3rd round is Grig's home run round. Lets see who we get
-
Traded for a 3rd rounder and Gerald McCoy, in exchange for our 2nd rounder.
Don't play like that with us man
-
1st pick I liked....but 2nd pick if it's offense, AND a RB.... I'm gonna take Grigson's mom out for a nice seafood dinner and never call her again
-
I'm hoping for Eli Harold man
-
I think we need another receiver
-
Did you actually write the word "fired"....???
God, I'd be so embarrassed if I ever wrote something like that. Overreact much?
For your information, Malcom Brown isn't even a scheme fit for what the Colts defense runs.
He's a 1-gap DT and Colts play in a 2-gap scheme.
Yet, you want Grigson fired......
Good God.....
He was joking
-
I disagree! You need to draft the Best Player Available at a position of need that's the only way you can built a complete team and not becoming one dimensional. At the moment we are repeating the same mistakes we made under Polian. Dorsett is a great player, Luck is awesome but if they can't get on the field because your Defense sucks you have a problem.
I see your point. I just think the Colts FO thinks Dorsett is better value to us than the defenders left on the board.

Werner was BPA as well. Many here wanted Xavier Rhodes. He was clearly a better prospect the Werner but Grigson tries to do too much.
You really can't say that as a fact. Lots of people wanted Rhodes, including me. Werner and Rhodes filled defensive needs, Grigs just chose wrong.
-
Greene from FSU in the 3rd.... plenty of WR'S in this draft
Bad pick, end of discussion
Lol ok NFL scout..
-
Gregory
Collins
Brown
pick WR
Explain how it isn't a waste then get back to me
Maybe you quit being an armchair GM and realize AJ and TY are our only established WRs? Moncrief has potential no doubt, but he's no lock to become great. Also, AJ is getting up there in age. He's not gonna last forever. Maybe it speaks about those players you mentioned that they were still on the board?
-
probably Werner was BPA for Grigson?
Maybe, who knows. I feel like he wasn't, though. He filled a need for defense, but turns he he's (most likely) a bust/average player. BPA is always the best route to take so ensure you get a solid player regardless of need.
-
Colts FO thought he was BPA I assume. Based on every player available, defense included, they probably thought he wasn't gonna suck. We took Werner because of a need, not BPA, look how that turned out.
I see no one here saying this kid sucks.
-
I'm stuck on the fact his reasoning was "We still have 8 picks left"
So you just waste one cause you have them?
Grigson is horrible
It's not a waste. Please stop childishly overreacting.
-
I love this pick. Some of you need to relax. Johnson is not going to play forever. This pick solidifies our WR corps for the future and was also BPA. There are still 8 picks left, relax.
-
Agree on Gore. Johnson ima say gets around 800-900 yards, he becomes a beast possession receiver for us. Remember Luck loves his TE's and TY.
