it's a scary, scary poem... gives me shivers. It's amazing how Poe could spin words in such a spine tingling way.

I always thought the Baltimore Ravens & Ray Lewis should incorporate this poem into their game day NFL ritual somehow. "...Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before; But the silence was unbroken, and the stillness gave no token, But the Raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only. That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour... Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."

Edgar Allen Poe is one of my favorite authors. His works are great, "The Raven" being on of his best.
