  1. I 100% agree with you. We have been successful with shotgun and no huddle formations. Not letting the defenses substitute. Very similar to the Pats philosophy. I am not sure it is in Pep's DNA and Chuck will not override the OC. I have been to alot of games and watch the sideline as much as the game. I can tell you many drives when we are on offense Chuck takes off the headset even. He relies on his coaches for that side of the ball. Now, if Pep does decide to change it up, the playoffs would be perfect because the opposition will not scheme for it and then in the second game if we advance will require more prep for the opposition and probably open up our power game a little more.

  2. Yes, yes and yes! I go to all the games and when we beat Denver it was the end of an era. When we beat Seattle at their own physical game we proved that this was not the Colts of past years. When we went on the road and beat San Francisco we proved that we were not going to be just an offense with another great quarterback. This year regardless of the outcome has changed the culture of Colts football.

  3. I appreciate Pagano's candidness about his viewpoint. I can tell you from very good information Pagano is far from a friend. Pagano in Bmore was an butt much like Ditka and Parcells, but he keeps it in house. Everyone knows he is the coach. Just ask his former special teams coach. Speaking of special teams that is what needs figured out. Reed puts us on the 12 with regularity. Mac has not had a punt for 50+ in ages. I am concerned about the tempo. We need to go up tempo more. Luck looks more comfortable. I sure hope they figure that out.

  4. I could not disagree with this post more. This team has a lot of talent and yes a lot of it is injured at the moment, but Griggs has been our GM for two years and we are 17-10 and will be in the playoffs again this year. Our secondary is better now than any of the years Manning was here. We have to get better on the O-line and its depth so when injuries  occur its not the nuclear option, but then again there are a lot of lines worse than ours. Remember this team has played one of the hardest schedules in the league and probably the biggest win pct by opposition and is 7-4. This team beat Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco. The four losses have come to some pretty good teams. I think we need to pause a little. We need to run the ball better, but what I think is killing us is our special teams. Since the Denver game we have been awful. Reed puts us at the 12 yard line with regularity and Mac has not kicked a 50 yard punt and I cannot remember. Hidden yards makes the difference in play calling.

  5. ..and if Rogers is as good as everybody's hoping he is..our offense will look something like this:

    Luck

    Wayne

    Hilton

    Rogers

    Richardson

    Ballard (and/or Brown)

    Allen

    Fleener

Man that looks nice on paper....NOTICE: DHB isn't on the list...and idk about bradshaw you really can't go wrong with bradshaw, brown, or ballard..so for me ..it's gonna be hard to see one of those guys leave..

I like your optimism, but Wayne and Ballard will not be ready by the beginning of next year. Ballard week 4 and Reggie may play in week 6  if everything goes good and that will be there pre-season more than likely. Injuries is part of the game. Next man up.

  6. Trent Richardson the verdict is still out. I admit I loved the trade when it went down. I thought we were meeting a need and really positioned us for the long term with Ballard out. I do feel he is not running with confidence and Pep needs to get the temp going maybe with no huddle initially and then go back to the ground and pound approach. I have seen way to many jumbo packages with one receiver and two tight ends. It is too predictable and makes it hard with 8 men in the box with that formation.
