  1. Now that the initial flurry is over, I thought I'd list FA that are still unsigned that might be of interest to the Colts or forum members based upon a general idea of team needs (add please add your own if I've missed some):

OL:  Stefan Wisnewski, C; Chris Myers C; Justin Blalock G; Joseph Barksdale OT

    RB: CJ Spiller

    WR: Cecil Shorts

    NT: Vince Wilfork NT; Barry Cofield NT;

DT: Nick Fairley; Red Bryant; Randy Starks; CJ Mosely

    ILB:  Rolando McClain

S: Stevie Brown, Dawan Landry, Darian Stewart

    Thoughts?

    No Greg Hardy?

  2. An anonymous head coach tells NBC Washington that "teams are afraid to sign" free agent DT Terrance Knighton because he's out of shape.

Knighton is meeting with the Redskins on Thursday, but has already been passed on by former coaches in Oakland and Chicago. He was expected to be a hot commodity as a run stuffer, and was at one point outrageously seeking $8 million per year. It's not exactly surprising that someone nicknamed "Pot Roast" is out of shape, but Knighton could cost himself all sorts of money by not hitting the open market in the shape he's expected to be in.

So this is the real reason he didn't sign with the Raiders?
  3. I guess I didn't do it right? It was supposed to be a vote for the question basically asking if people on the forum will really skip the Super Bowl and hurt the NFLs ratings and show that we are not happy with how this is being handled because the Patriots seem to have gotten in unfairly.

  4. I don't think this happened two weeks ago.    He couldn't have served a 14 day house arrest without the Colts knowing about it.

He would have missed practice and games.     But that hasn't happened.

So, odds are this incident just happened and he's going to serve this sentence....    that's the only way this makes sense to me...

It was a very badly written story....

EDIT:    Here's another story which confirms this just happened early this morning....  and he will now serve his sentence....

That is weird it says in the story that he was arrested in Muncie Indiana for a DUI in May.  I don't think I ever heard about that.

  5. I don't know your team seems to always have some issue with the Pats every time we beat you - the field being uncovered, the weather, rule changes to stop our DBs from being physical, and now ball inflation. Honestly, if I was a Colts fan, I would be asking Ryan Grigson why he cared so much about ball inflation prior to the AFC title game then getting his team prepared to compete. I mean you had a player miss the plane, you suspended another one and then deactivated your two number one picks on defense. Complete disarray. That was by far the least competitive game the two teams have played and the SB was on the line. I would rather have the Colts forget the balls and compete and win and be going to the bowl. But that is just me.

Or maybe a fake injury in a game? Don't forget that one.

  6. Remove the New England Patriots football team from Superbowl 49 for cheating. Insert the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts to play for the AFC Championship game in two weeks for the right to play the Seattle Seahawks for Superbowl 49.

    look here ,lol.

I checked it this morning and it is down to less than 200 votes :)

  7. but your fans are using every excuse in the book to stand up for them. colts fans are not complaining about the game since it was a blowout but pats fans sure are trying to come up with every excuse under the sun to defend their team after your messiahs looked in the camera and lied to all of you

Yea I have read a lot of good articles and the 1 thing they all have in common are the insane comments about them from all the Pats fans. They all say that everyone is just jealous because all they do is win and so everyone just hates. HELLO do these Pats fans really not remember that the Pats have already been caught for cheating before? They act like the rest of the league thinking they are lying and cheating is so crazy and off the wall. That is the better of the Pats fans comments too don't even get me started on how many I have read that said so what we cheated get over it and the Pats were just so awesome. It is just sickening if some of the fans really feel this way and don't care how their team wins. Surely not all Pats fans are like this and this is just social media bringing out all of the NFL teams "best" fans?

  8. Looks like crazy good draft considering just a 2nd 3rd 5th 6th 7th. Cant even write off the 7th (John) as he's said to be athletic and has gained 20 lbs.

Wait so you are saying Grigson has had at least 2 good/great drafts out of 3? *GASP* That can't be right from what I have read on here.

  9. Peyton finished? He's just playing hurt lol. Him having 4INT games are nothing new.

I don't know if age is catching up with Manning or if its because he is playing hurt or maybe its both. I do know that at the beginning of the season there was a lot of talk that Brady was done and that talk has disappeared. I will give Manning the benefit of the doubt and say he is not done either and he will come back next year and have another good season.

  10. Interception wise I don't think Luck is that bad at all, people seem to over blow this aspect but he had a truck load of fumbles this year. With regards to passing he's almost doubled his INTs but he's also almost doubled his TDs.

He's had 13 fumbles this year though compared to 6 last year. This is an area where significant improvement can be made.

I think the comment the OP made was just pertaining to overall mistakes. I'm not sure though lol.

Luck has had a lot of fumbles but you know who else has? Aaron Rodgers he has only had 3 less than Luck. I don't hear anyone talking about Aaron Rodgers' fumbles. That being said I hope this gets cleaned up because I get worried like every time Lucks get wrapped up now.

  11. Colts Record's this season.

    Monday Night Football (8:30p)  1-1

    Sunday Night Football (8:30p)  0-2

    Thursday Night Football (8:25p) 1-0

Sunday Afternoon Mid Games (4:25p) 0-2

    Sunday Afternoon Games (1:00p) 9-0

    just sayin...

1 PM is just our time slot. Its when I expect us to play and it usually goes well for us that way.

  12. People are so quick to point out turnovers, like he's the only QB doing it. Pretty sure Peyton is right there with him in turnovers.

Actually Manning is right there with him for INTs. For fumbles though Manning is not even close. Aaron Rodgers however only has 3 less fumbles than Luck.

  13. He was running his route, how was he suppose to know Andrew fell down and needed someone close to the ball? The guy wasn't good today but at least don't blame him for non-sense.

He wasn't. That was a nonsense post by "#87WayneFanHe'sTheMan".

So you are telling me if Wayne was the 1 he was throwing the ball near he wouldn't have came back to help Luck out? I have seen Wayne come back a lot of times to help Luck out when he was in trouble.
