  1. Complacency, they were smelling their self a little too much after beating Denver, now they are trying to flip that switch back on and it just hasn't came back yet but it's getting better now than the past few games. Hopefully they flip the switch completely back on starting with the Bengals and build some momentum heading into the playoffs

Agreed.  Injuries a lot of the prob but id say some got a little to big for thier britches.  Gotta come back down and get back to fundamentals

  2. That's a big freakin' deal, man. You're just glossing over it like it's a minor speed bump. It's proven to be much more than that.

Reggie Wayne was basically a third of our passing offense last year. Not only that, he is a veteran leader, someone that Luck could rely on come third down, and he set the pace for the rest of the receiving corps. Losing him has been huge. Our offense has been stuck in mud without him.

Look at how average Tom Brady was playing without Wes Welker. Now imagine Tom Brady is a second year pro with a rookie offensive coordinator and zero run game.

You can't just say "we're the same team, just minus Reggie." That basically makes us a different team.

Of course its a big deal.  Not the point i was making.  Last i checked, Reggie wasnt playing on the Oline or playing defense or calling plays.  Im talking overall.  Just because reggie went down doesnt mean the defense get burnt on the opening drive of every game after that. Of course there is going to be change, but it shouldnt make the Line worse or Davis forget how to cover at times and get burnt or DHB forget how to catch.

  3. We lost more than Wayne since then. We lost Thomas, Bradshaw & Wayne. Plus satele was on the bench when we have had success with the line.

Thomas and bradshaw didnt play against denver.  Wayne is the only real minus since then.  Im not a fan of Satele either.

  4. Everybody isnt saying anything..

But losing 40-9 is not normal for a playoff team...There is FAR too much variation in our performance.

Beating top-ranked Seattle (11-1).and seciond rated DFenver (10-2) ..and losing 40-9 are 2 vastlly different things and its a 'red flag'

Something is wrong with us. I dont know what it is

So execution?  Thats how i see it.

  5. If you can't see the difference, I don't know what to tell you

    :dunno:

Should have been more clear on the question I guess.  Its the same team.  Minus Wayne.  Same personnel, same coaches, same everything.  To me it boils down to execution.  Thats just my opinion.  Toler has been out for a few games as well but i really believe the talent is there.  Guys just have to dig deep and get back to form.

  6. With all the "Fans" on here talking about how bad we suck and so on, really tell me.  Whats the difference in this team that beat San Fran, Seattle and Denver?  Aside from the obvious of losing Wayne.  What else has changed?  After Denver, the team looked amazing.  Defense was making plays all over, offense was clicking nicely.  So what changed.  Why is everyone saying We suck now and have no chance at beating anyone.  Honestly, to those of you that say we suck, try being a Jags fan, or a houston fan.  Those teams are bottom of the barrel right now.  Do the Colts need work?  Sure, no team is perfect.  But SUCK??  really?

  7. So why are you one of the few that is up for this game? I don't see this as a cakewalk for anybody. The only thing holding the Bengals together is the defense. It's a given that they will play hard and aggressive when they are on the field. However, I don't have enough heart medication to watch when the Bengals have the ball.

Just how a lot of people (not all) on here roll.  It amazes me as well.  Of course, i was talking smack when Curtis Painter was at the helm.  haha!!  Its all good.  No.  Its not gonna be a cakewalk for either team.  Talking of defense, Indys defense kept them in the game againt the titans.  Same as Dalton.  Although, i would love to have Green on our side ofthe ball.  Should be a good, tough, grind it out football game,  Indy wins though,  No doubt in my mind.

  8. Hey guys! Bengals fan here. You are having the same attitude as the Miami forum just before they played us. Most of you are coming into this game humble and with not a lot (if any) smack. That bothers me. A majority of the times you see the pre-game bigmouths lose in the end. I guess we were put in that position. But the consensus seems to be very lopsided. What happened to your team? You were brutally solid and an absolute threat to Denver but things seem to have collapsed. What gives?

Lost Reggie.  However, if your looking for anyone in this forum to stoke the fire on this game, you will have to look elsewhere.  Most of these people are all Gloom and Doom, we suck, fire everyone, packup and move to LA, Luck is a bust types.  I say F that.  To you, we are gonna come to your house and burn that mother down.  Cinci is an average football team with only 2 wins against winning teams.  OH BOY you beat the browns.  Whoop dee Fing DOO.  Mathis is going to terrorize your Ginger QB.  Double up on Green cause Toler is back and Game over.  Do not worry though Bengals fans, youll still make the playoffs due to your cush garbage schedule and your weak butt division.

    Hows that for your consensus

  9. "Wahhhh wahhhhh our playoff path is gonna be too hard wahhhh wahhhhh I want it to be easy wahhh wahhhh..."

Lol who cares?... You guys are such females on here I love it!... anything can happen once you're in the dance. Ohhhhh wait!!!! All of you guys have it all figured out beforehand I totally forgot.. Just like how we would have no chance with SF, SEA or DEN! With Injuries and anything else anything can happen. But keep being little females acting all scary.

My favorite is you goobers who are like "wahhhh we have no shot on Sunday..." Then when the colts win you're like "oh yeah I totally saw that coming and that was the exact gameplan I had written up myself..." type of posts

    Weenies

GO COLTS! All of you annoying fans can suck it though

Lots of head coaches and Off Coordinaters on these threads.  Guess its the new thing to be all gloom and doom.

  10. I'm sorry but we would get killed in that game.  i don't like the matchup.  First of all, we make 2nd and 3rd string into one-game pro-bowlers at the QB, running back, and other positions.  Then you take Flacco and Rice and we would be in a heap of trouble right from the start.  I like our chances against a non-ravens opponent.

    Wow!
