  1. If that means Brian Thomas Jr. or Rome Odunze falls to us, I’d be fine with that too
  2. I would love that because to deal with good QBs and WRs, you need good CBs and safeties. There is going to be plenty of slinging in the AFC South, IMO
  3. He does believe in delayed gratification j/k The slightly longer you go, FA safeties, CBs, WRs etc. get antsy and that’s how the playoff teams cash in, so why not us??
  4. The offseason back to back to back to back championships go to ..... your Duuuval fellas again
  5. Whether you lose by 3 or lose by 20 at Jacksonville, it still counts as 1 loss I am plagiarizing Magic Johnson talking after a playoff loss vs the Bulls.
  6. Getting bang for the buck is important. D J Reader pushes the pocket a bit more than Grover. Sheldon Rankins pushes it a bit more than D J Reader, which is why the Bengals got him in lieu of D J Reader that they let go. For about the same money, I wish we got Reader over Grover.
  7. I beg to differ. Ridley tailed off as the season went along. He just got some of Kirk's numbers from the previous year. They needed a field stretching guy and had too much of the same kind in Zay Jones, Christian Kirk and Evan Engram all doing underneath work with Ridley crowding it. That is why they got Gabe Davis. I wouldn't say they got worse. Besides, let us sweep the Jaguars once before we start talking.
  8. He can definitely push the pocket better than Grover, I would have gone after him, IMO.
  9. If you haven't noticed, the big DTs and interior OGs are the ones getting moved and paid in the first week of free agency, big time. From Chris Jones to Justin Madubuike, just look at this list of defensive tackles signed in a span of 3 days, guys. Ballard knew he had to get Stewart and Buckner in place. Former Raiders defensive tackle John Jenkins visited the Dolphins, per report. The Texans are hosting former Bills defensive tackle Tim Settle Jr. for a visit on Thursday, per report. To give you a glimpse (might have missed a few, this is what has happend just this week 1 of free agency), the league is shifting: The Dolphins sign former Lions (and Dolphins) defensive tackle Benito Jones, per report. 10. I like this site for tracking: https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2024/3/8/24094251/nfl-2024-free-agency-tracker-chiefs-news-trades-updates-reports-signings-more Desmond Ridder going to the Cardinals, and Falcons are loading up, get Rondale Moore from Cardinals
  11. Quandre Diggs is a vet presence but he is a shell of his prime self, had a very average year. There is a reason the Seahawks let him go, besides his cost.
  12. If they are going for him, I am all behind Ballard for doing that. If they go with Fuller, I'd get behind him too. Doing something to improve the secondary will always be appreciated by Colts fans. Maybe a few drinks on St. Patrick's Day might help everyone, including Ballard and folks.
  13. No it is not recency bias, it is the quality of opposition Sneed has gone against. PFF probably dings him for penalties but for Spags, it is cost of doing business. While you might be able to ding Sneed for all the penalties (17, per PFF), he is as physical as any corner in the NFL, and the results speak for themselves. The 26-year-old corner silences opponents. He's allowed 5-plus catches and 50-plus yards in a game just twice in the 2023 season, per Next Gen Stats, and he's given up ZERO touchdowns in 462 coverage snaps. His -29.7 target EPA is third-best among all CBs in 2023. His play is not just Pro Bowl-worthy -- it's All-Pro quality. The upside is tremendous, as the fourth-year corner has locked up numerous top wide receivers. Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams, JaMarr Chase and more can all attest to that. Sneed hasn't given up a single touchdown in coverage in the 2023 season and boasts an impressive 56.2 passer rating when targeted.
  14. @NFLfan @VikingsFanInChennai With the signing of Mason Rudolph with the Titans, Ryan Tannehill is definitely on the chopping block, IMO, and the Vikings could use a year of his services while grooming a rookie QB.
  15. We have that guy in Jaylon Jones who can definitely be tried out at safety but yeah, Nick Cross will get his shot this year.
  16. ...is that the Indianapolis Colts are the team to beat here. IF, that is a big IF, we land Sneed, Jaylon Jones could be moved to big nickel / safety, I think he will do well there. His draft projection also said he could: https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jaylon-jones/32004a4f-4e44-9507-e0b9-cde8b102313d Key lines: He might lack the long speed for foot races in press-man work so Cover 2 and Cover 3 could be his coverage destination thanks to his size and potential physicality, but a move to safety should not be out of the question.
