  1. Religious debates? political debates? Where religion or politics came into my opinion that I posted, I'm not sure... and I'm the one who's biased?

And everything I said is indeed true, you can simply google Michael Sam, and it'll suggest 'controversy' to follow.

I'm am simply a dedicated fan that does not want to see my team harmed by unfair media during a potential SB year, and signing him would do exactly that, just like if a team were to resign Ray Rice, the media would have a hay day. There are some good players out there that are just not worth the bad media/ off field problems.

And there is no debate my dear friend, because my opinion is not debatable,

    Cheers :)

  2. Really, what is so un-informed about my opinion?

The fact that I never heard the media shut up about him during the last offseason, simply because of the controversy his lifestyle brings to a team? No, no that's true.

Or the fact that he would be nothing but problematic to our team?

Well I believe the media covered that last year when they said that members in the locker room were uncomfortable with him in the change room. And the fact that he himself made conscientious effort to avoid people in the change room makes it clear that he himselfelt the atmosphere in the change room.

Or the fact that we are making a push for the SB, and I don't want the shine that is deserved by Andrew Luck and the gang, to be shone on a player simply because he is homosexual and on a Nfl roster. That is the way media works.

Oh and no need to feel embarrassed for me expressing my opinion on the matter :)

  3. If the Colts land Michael Sam I am going to be absolutely furious.

The last thing we need is the media focusing on a player like him and the lifestyle he conducts. I find it funny that teams will cut players like Ray Rice because he hurts the image of the team, but actually consider picking up someone like Michael Sam as if it wouldn't hurt their image. Not to mention all the coverage they had on on him last year simply because of his lifestyle, its sickening. Now imagine if one player loses his cool on the guy, the media would have a hay-day with 'hate crimes'

People already say that Indianapolis lack grit/aggression/intimidation, and he will NOT help with that what so ever. Not to mention the uneasiness in the locker room that it would create among players, he would be nothing but a virus to the team and the room.

Seattle had their Super Bowl ruined with the media coverage of Richard Sherman being a Jerk when they won it, it took away so much from their victory, I would definitely not want the same thing happening to us with a non-impact player like Sam because of his unnatural lifestyle choices.

  4. He wasn't really all that cheap, I think they should have waited until after the draft if they wanted to sign him, his price would have probably fallen and you could have drafted or signed an undrafted rook is who will probably be better then him.

You don't sign with the Raiders if you have other options, they aren't competing for a title anytime soon.

True enough but I think most of his contract is based off incentives, and yeah I think Trent just got his foot in the door at any team to try and prove himself...

Also after hearing what he had to say about the Colts, it feels like he might not have even been playing as hard as he could have. By the sounds of it, he didn't like it here, so how much of his heart was actually in it...

Either way Goodbye Trent, and HELLOOO frank!

  5. He takes too long hiding behind blockers before he picks a hole, and even then he's slow and heavy, which is why he has only ever averaged 3.3 yards in his career

The only thing he's good for is a power back to try to punch it in the end zone from 5 yards out... or 3.3 in his case

On top of the fact that he has been late for 14 team weigh-ins, got suspended during the playoffs, and filing a grievance against his team... Good riddance

... But with all that said its a good move for Oakland, he's cheap, he's got to prove himself to the entire league otherwise his career could be over, and he's not as injury prone as Bradshaw...

  6. Again they release a player instead of trading him for a draft pick. So stupid.

There is no trade value in him. He has no value to our team. We have Vick Ballard and frank gore, and he is in the middle of filing a grievance against our team, so why would a team waste resources to trade for him when they can wait until we void his last years contract.

Besides Oakland only wants him because we don't.

  7. Most people are looking at the negatives though, take some positives outta' last night!
We were able to actually open up the running game, which I haven't seen us run like that in a while, which means that teams are going to have to game plan us differently.

They can't just focus on secondary anymore because we finally proved we could run the ball, which opened up the play action for us big time, which could end up making our offense explosive here on out.

Our worst enemy was being too predictible, now I think we'll have the element of surprize.

Defense wise, yeah we're hurting, but as I recall, that Horse collar penalty was actually a good tackle made in the back field at a key moment, against a great offense.

The Eagles have a lot of weaponry as well and we were able to keep them in check. Bad calls cost us a tough game, it happens.

We've already played two of the hardest teams on our schedule, and we thirst for a win now more than ever.

  8. Maybe we're overreacting a little to being 0-2, maybe, but with that being said, Houston is 2-0 and play the Giants, the Bills, and the Cowboys before we face them. Truthfully I don't think we can afford any divisional losses this year, especially from Houston, one loss from them and it could mean the playoffs

  9. I wanna say that Trent is overrated as well, but it wouldn't be fair. Our O-line is absolutely horrible, Luck himself is being hit second most in the entire league tied with Cleveland with 71 (Buffalo's in first with 73) and those are two teams the Colts do NOT wanna be compared with. I say lets stop blaming the players and start blaming the coordinators. We're wayyy too predictable. How well do you expect Trent to do when the D can read our runplay from a mile away. We need to change our playbook, and formations up. Teams look at our replays and its so easy to predict, unless we had an awesome recieving core, to open up the draw play a bit other than that we're going no where.

  10. Shouldn't have to do anything. with Reggie gone, our Recievers should be able to step up, this is why they made the big leagues. We don't need someone to catch and break for huge yards (as nice as that would be) we need them all just to catch the damn ball period, to open up the run game, which really needs a big change. Our playmaking is way too predictable, they never hide the fact that they are going to run the ball. We need more unconventional plays that just blows the Defense minds, and we need a team leader, it seems that was Reggie.

  11. Despite several bad calls throught out that game, that nearly cost us, our team managed to keep their head in the game and pull out a hard fought win. The the calls are the least of our worries, I'm still disgusted on how many dropped passes their were by our recievers, how many missed tackles we have on a gamely babsis and remember half of Houstons Offense came from A. Johnson alone, divisional or not this was a lower echelon team and it isn't that they made US look bad, WE made US look bad. Win or not, I can't see us going anywhere if that's how we're gonna play, put us against a decent Defense then what would have happened? Just because we snuck a win doesn't mean much, teams have tons of replays to look through now.

  12. I have to disagree, I know its wrong to bash the living legend, but I saw Manning throw "hissy fits" as well.  I know I certainly remember the "Manning face" a time or two.  Brady for the most part is pretty low key compared to most.  Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching Brady and the patriots lose but Brady for all his GQ ads and UGG ads is pretty low key on the field.

I'm sure he has had his times where he lost his composure, maybe on an extremely important down, but very rarely has he ever. Tom Brady on the other hand threw the biggest hissy fit I've seen a Q.B do, on the FIRST game of the season (so wasn't like the season itself was riding on the game) and he SNAPPED when one of his ROOKIE recievers dropped a pass. Get real Brady, they're rookies playing their first NFL game don't call them out like that, that's a disgusting move. And I'm not the only one to acknowledge this because on 'SportsNation" they spoke about Dez Bryant and him snapping out and how everybody didn't like it, and how it was SO wrong for him to do that, and an announcer said, "then why is it okay for Brady to do that?"  He is far from low key.

It seems to me that the higher the player's skill level, the higher the tolerance for their actions which is wrong.

  13. I obviously understand why people are defending him but honestly, after playing 22 games in the NFL his biggest break was once for a 32 yard touchdown with Cleveland :S Luck has probably ran further for a T.D, Trent's biggest break on the year is a 16 yard break! The same thing happened in cleveland he hits the line and slowes down, loses all momentum, trying to follow blocks... :S He needs to learn just to pick a damn hole and run through full of momentum, and follow blocks in the backfield.

He's alright for short yarded gains I guess, other than that this guy needs to change something because in 22 NFL games, his gameplan obviously ain't working.

  14. The thing I love about the Colts is we have some class, compared to teams like Seattle or players like Dez Bryant or Tom Brady. Whenever Luck or Peyton ever missed a throw or one was dropped they simply walk off the field compared to Q.B's like Tom Brady to throws hissy fits. Seattle has had a year their management has dreamt of but their image is being ruined by players like Golden Tate, and Richard Sherman (who was rated the leagues worst trash talker). Some call it passion, I call it poor sportmanship, passion is shown on the effort during the play, not after it with gloating or celebrations.

THANK YOU COLTS FOR TAKING THEIR UNDEFEATED SEASON AWAY!
