    Yes.

    -Holds ALL the records.

    -Most wins.

    -2 Super Bowl wins.

    -5 MVP's.

-3-1 against Tom Brady in AFC Championship games.

-Owner of the most 4th Quarter Comebacks.

-Changed the way QB's are expected to play

I could go on and on but I'll leave that there for now unless someone wants to discuss further.

The most wins will go to Tom Brady in short order though.

I'd agree with you.  Marino and Elway probably had the two best arms in NFL history, up to this point.

How lucky are the Colts to have Unitas, Manning and Luck?

I think there might be some power in that Lucky Horseshoe... :clover::coltshelmet:

That luck has been a double edged sword though. Think about how terrible we were in the years prior to getting Manning and Luck.

What about zone dives or screen pass dives by OL at the feet of defenders? It is not technically a block, it is more like a dive. Those are still allowed, right?

Low blocks are fine as long as the defender isn't being blocked by another offensive player. It is the high/low combo only that is being taken out of the game.

it will make things more difficult on the offensive line, but I think it is a good change. Too many defensive linemen get sidelined for the year with blown knees.

Well, after the lawsuit and being torn apart by the media and social media alike for it's role in long term brain damage, can you really blame them?  The fact of the matter is, we've all put them in between a rock and a hard place with all the social media and complaining.  Can't have it both ways.

Agree. We can't ask for brutal hits now and then demonize the league an ex-player is found to have had traumatic brain injury due to hits while playing football.

  5. Making all plays, except those already reviewed, reviewable is something I've been hoping for since challenges were instituted. There are too many times that a questionable pass interference call is made that completely changes the complexion of the game, but once it is called it is set in stone. Now there is a second chance.

  6. As an avid Bama fan, I can say that the LBs that come out of there are not generally elite pass rushers. Saban's defensive MO at Bama has been to have big bruisers on the D-line that get a good push up front. That makes a pass rush around the edge much more effective. If you watch them, the push is primary, then the corners or the linebackers come in and reap the reward of a sack. So looking at Bama players like Upshaw for an elite edge rusher is not a sure thing and it can be deceiving.

Having said that, how about we get on board with that philosophy and get some dominating D-linemen and watch out pass rush become that much more dangerous?

To be fair that's the type of player D'Qwell is, and lots of people were calling for his release before he was found guilty. If he's still around we don't need two lbs who are useless vs the pass.

It may be the Bama homer in me, but I did not see Ragland as a pass defensive liability. He is better run stopper, but he seemed to cover decently.

Oh yeah man. Gary Brackett. LOL. He used to get a whole bunch of tackles.

I'm kidding BTW. He did have a couple pretty good years though. 07 I think was his best.

I think he benefited from an all around good defense in '07 more so than helping it.

    Lol this is a joke.

Houston: I will reserve judgement on the Miller and Allen signing but signing BO to 18 a year was really really dumb

Jacksonville: They WAY overpaid for some players. Jackson should have gotten like 8m tops and he got 15.

Tennessee: I'm sorry but DeMarco Murray doesn't scare me. He was always a below average back that looked good one year behind the Cowboys OL.

I'm not scared of the South.

I agree. Murray is an overrated runner, but he is an underrated receiver. If they open up the offense, he could pose a problem as a receiver out of the backfield. But if TN is determined to run like a traditional back, then I think they are going to be disappointed.

I'm a proponent of Reggie Ragland. He'll be our Vontaze Burfict, without the penalties.

Whenever he's on the field, our defense will play more aggressive. Our D has lacked an impact MLB for a long time.

I can't even remember an impact MLB. Have we ever had one since the Baltimore  Colts days?

There's a very high chance the Colts are going to make a run at Ragland in the draft. They have been connected to him continuously (more than usual) through the offseason.

Ragland is a beast! As a big Bama homer, I have watched every game this kid has played. He is always around the ball. He blows up running plays in the backfield as often as the D linemen.

    I would love it!!!

Though he could be gone, many have suggested he might still be there.  This is one of my sources when I was researching:

    " Mackensie Alexander**, CB, Clemson
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 195.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.45.
    Projected Round (2016): 2-4.

2/13/16: Alexander was a quality cover corner for Clemson the past two seasons. The redshirt sophomore recorded 23 tackles with five passes broken up and zero interceptions 2015. In 2014, he had 21 tackles with six breakups and zero interceptions.

A few teams have told me they graded Alexander as a third- or fourth- rounder. Sources say that that Alexander is physical, but thickly built, and tight for turning and running with NFL receivers. They view him as a nickel corner. Another team told me they have a second-round grade on Alexander and expect him to go there. It is entirely possible that the team that likes him enough to draft him takes him in the second round.

I doubt. Maybe a few teams grade him as a 3rd or 4th, but the teams that grade him as a 1st or 2nd will have long since taken him off the board.

What about Jones do you like? I just don't see it.

I'll freely admit that I see through Crimson colored glasses as I have been a Bama fan since I was old enough to sit in front of a TV. So, it's a little hard not to be somewhat biased.

However, he is a speedy ball hawk and he is tough as nails. He never shies away from a big hit. My biggest concern is his size at only 5'10"
