      You just gotta release your inner Prefontaine and grind out those long runs each and every day. Plus, do high number of reps in the weight room for each set. With that, I'll impart you with some wisdom: always remember.."if you want the gurls, you gotta do the curls."

      One thing that worked for me besides the weights was a combo of running, walking and bicycling. Pick your run/walk route....longer the better. Walk a hundred steps....jog 1-2,000...back and forth. It is good that your mind is working. Of course sprint the last 100 yards home. It simulates plays well too. I loved it....with bicycling long distances too.
