  1. Dwight Freeney made Jonathan Odgen look like a blonde, braid-headed school girl, what do you think rookie Marcus Gilbert and a practice squader on any other team, Jonathan Scott was going to do? Well...that, . Pittsburgh has been dealing with this offensive line nonsense for quite some time. Good thing this team perseveres because if we didn't we wouldn't win a game. Oh, and the defense too. Roethlisberger is still a beast. Indy will be back, Manning isn't going anywhere.
  2. Good game guys. It's funny that Pittsburgh fans had more confidence in your team that you did! I'm on record for saying that I was very afraid coming into the Colts building, facing an 0-2 team on National Television, owning the best pass rush in all of football against the worst offensive line in the league. I've watched this Pittsburgh Steelers team for so long to predict that we would come out as flat as ever and play way down to the competition. I still don't know how Roethlisberger survives behind that putrid offensive line. Hang in there Colts fans, Peyton will be back eventually. Good s

  4. This is the most inaccurate statement I've ever read. Tomlin took over a veteran team back in 2007 and everyone was wondering how the veteran players were going to handle things "Tomlin's way." What separates Tomlin from most is his love for his players and how he wears it on his sleeve but yet, tells it like it is and treats them like men, kind of like how Dungy would treat his players but Tomlin has more fire so to speak. Pittsburgh loves Tomlin and for good reason. Since the Steelers have had only 3 head coach's in 4 decades (Noll, Cowher, Tomlin) and how the Rooney's stick by their man, I
  5. Tomlin's press conference's are very fun to watch. He's a players coach but yet, doesn't take a thing lightly whatsoever. He executes his coaching style to the perfect balance. His prescence has been felt here in Pittsburgh and that was said to be a very hard feat to accomplish after replacing Coach Cowher. That said, Tomlin says this about every team and downplays NOBODY. If the Steelers would ever play Notre Dame, Tomlin would paint them out to be the '72 Dolphins manning the '85 Bears defense. Steelers fans are happy that we've landed Tomlin. Very solid indeed.
  6. , welcome to our world. Our QB has run for his life for God knows how long. Ben's foot doesn't even hit the turf on a 3 step drop and he has lineman in his face. Thank God he's a big boy and plays back-yard ball when he needs to, one of the best at getting out of pressure and extending. Brady on the other hand, has 10 solid seconds to go through his 1st option, all the way to his 4th option. Quite sickening.
  7. Manning in the lineup, I could see the Colts offense hanging atleast 20 points on the Steelers. Without Manning, I'm thinking 13 at absolute best. The Steelers are still struggling with their red-zone offense so nothing leads me to believe that they can punch it in inside the 20. We had MULTIPLE opportunities to score 38+ points against the hapless Seahawks and we failed to do so (one on a goal-line stand. another inside the 5 and Polamalu dropped a pick 6.) That said, I have it 27-7 Pittsburgh.
  8. I think it's very possible. Why? Only because I've seen my Pittsburgh Steelers teams beat the best of the best, the elites, and then swing back around and look God-awful against obvious inferior opponents. The line? Don't sweat it. I saw the Oakland Raiders march into Heinz Field in 2009, right in front of me, and beat us STRAIGHT UP as 14 point under-dawgs. Of course Polamalu and the rest of our defense was injured but it can happen. Even with Manning, I thought the Colts are very well on the downside but without Manning, Indy has a bad team at best, which worries me. They are coming back ho
  9. Thank you! Looking forward talking about our week 3 matchup. Thanks for the welcome!

  10. Harrison has been playing about, 60% all season thus far. He had off-season back surgery and isn't nearly in the football shape he's usually in. He said he's up to about 85% now so he'll get stronger as the season goes on but Woodley is the healthiest of the two going into Week 3. Kerry Collins beat Pittsburgh before but I think he won't have the time to get anything off. We'll probably be bringing the house the whole game, viciously. Our defense is being called old and they aren't too happy about it here in Pittsburgh.
  11. Welcome! There have been some really great Steeler fans join us this week and you are one of them. Thanks for your kind words and please continue to join us whenever you have time.

  12. Hey guys, Steelers fan here. First off, this was one of those games on the schedule we had circled in the off-season and was quivering in our black and gold boots. At Indianapolis, on the fast track, Sunday night, Peyton Manning, weak secondary. It wasn't looking too good but at the same time, it was going to be a good test to get on track against pass heavy offense's like Indy and Houston (back to back weeks on the road for us.) Unfortunately, this matchup isn't what it was intended to be without Manning in the lineup and I feel for you guys. This could of been a good one with Manning on und
