  1. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7543001/peyton-manning-flexible-deal-demands-sources-say Says he is okay with getting no guaranteed money and earning money based on how many games he plays. Anyone that says he is not a class act and somehow swindled the Colts this year is out of their mind.
  2. I didn't see him. Did I miss him? Seems like he would have been there to watch Eli.
  3. Clearly you do, or you wouldn't have responded. Also, I was being sarcastic.
  4. Yup...way less concerns about the level of play of Tiquan Underwood going forward than of Peyton Manning...
  5. A team in London would be a logistical nightmare. I think a team in Canada is feasible, but they already have the CFL, so I don't know how well an NFL team would do there. If they do decide to go to Canada, it almost has to be in Toronto. There is a reason that the Blue Jays and the Raptors are still going while the Expos and Grizzlies have had to relocate. I think if the NFL is going to go international, Mexico City is the best choice in terms of a fan base that will support the team. However, I question whether NFL players will want to live in Mexico for months out of the year. As far as LA
  6. Yeah, Peyton throws on the run so often. That's clearly a necessary part of his rehab.
  7. No they don't. Peyton's agent is Tom Condon. Luck is represented by his uncle, Will Wilson. http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2012/story/_/id/7472931/2012-nfl-draft-andrew-luck-signs-wasserman-media-group-hires-uncle-agent
  8. Have you ever considered changing your screen name to Debbie Downer? Geez, man, you don't have to chime in with some negative rubbish every time someone posts anything positive about Manning. We all know you want him gone. You've made it abundantly clear.
  9. Peyton Manning Second is Jacob Tamme - gotta support Kentucky boys.
  10. I noticed on the show that the first team out of the mouths of Schefter, Dilfer, and Chris Carter was Washington. I just don't see that happening. They kept saying that Manning could be selective in where he went and that he would want to go to a team that has talent around him and would be flexible in allowing Peyton to dictate the offense. I could be wrong, but I've always got the impression that Mike Shanahan is a bit of a control freak and think he would be unlikely to yield offensive decisionmaking to Peyton. Also, Shanahan has always been a run first guy, hasn't he? Everyone talks about
  11. Put your flame shield up, bro...the Luck Army is coming for you.
  12. Green Bay didn't release Favre. He retired and was subsequently traded.
  13. Peyton's team. No question. I have no trouble admitting that I am a Peyton fan first. If that makes me subhuman in your eyes, or makes you feel sorry for me, or you just don't understand it, that's fine with me.
  14. The interview made me cautiously optimistic. It is clear that Peyton thinks he will be back on the field next year and, quite frankly, no one can gauge his own arm strength better than himself.
  15. Yeah, drafting "Lebron" is a sure recipe for success. Just ask the Cleveland Cavaliers.
  16. If you have signed memorabilia that you no longer want, I'll gladly take it off your hands. Message me for the address.
  17. I am talking about being forced to retire due to injury, not by someone else. But you are saying you would rather his career end sooner because you don't want to see him play for another team. How is that not selfish? What other motivation could you have for wanting him to hang it up completely instead of having a chance to play somewhere else?
  18. I don't think they're interested in replacing Schaub, although Peyton would make that team an instant SB contender.
  19. That is one of the most selfish things I've heard on this board. You'd rather him be forced into premature retirement when he clearly wants to keep playing than for him to have the opportunity to finish out his career on his own terms?
  20. I hope this isn't true. This would be a terrible way for Manning's career to come to an end.
  21. Jim Caldwell has been hired by the Baltimore Ravens as a Quarterbacks Coach. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7518305/baltimore-ravens-hire-jim-caldwell-offensive-assistant-source-says
