AC hands down for offense. he is really the only answer if people can try and think for a minute. but oh wait, people wanted him cut 8 weeks ago. colts fans.
Woods or Hankins for defense. either or would be fine.

Who is saying that he is better because he's taller?
Do you grasp the concept? If all things are equal, would you prefer the TE who is 6.7 or 6.5?
And neither Swoope or Travis have any type of record to compare each other, or to any other TE. They are both replaceable, rather easily too.
ross has 2 catches. all things aren't equal.

He didn't just get hurt.
If he had suffered an ankle or a knee injury, then I'd say he got hurt.
But for a period of time Thursday night, it looked like Williams suffered a serious neck injury and maybe even paralysis. That's why he got taken off the field taped to a stretcher and then carted off. Scared the crap out of a lot of people. Turns out it was only a concussion. But they don't normally take people to the hospital for just a concussion. There was real fear that it could've been worse.
So, it seemed Krunk's post seemed a little insensitive at the time.... I've expained my thinking to him in another post, so no need to duplicate that here...
oh ok. i didn't know you were the sensitive police.
carry on then captain.

I didn't. I said probably. Because he's taller and looks just as athletic.
What is the love for Swoope on this forum? Last spring I called him a JAG who hasn't seen the field much and people behaved like he was a probowler.
Didn't mean commit sacrilege and dis the man Swoope when Doyle is the starter. Must be something else going on here.
not love for him
just insane to say this dude is better because he is "taller"
but then again you are a colts fan. being tall is all that matters to you guys.

He's a field stretcher like Swoope, but probably better. A different role than Doyle. Travis should stay and Swoope and Williams can fight it out for third, but I'd prefer a new TE for #3, more of a blocker than either.
how on earth do you say he is better than swoope?
can you at least warn us before the post that you are just going to make some stuff up for no reason.

I think if you HAD seen the game Thursday night, there is no way in the world you make this post.
Not with what almost happened to Williams. You'd never make this post......
why not? him getting hurt doesnt change the facts.

This fan base hasn't had much to be excited about all season long.
As I noted elsewhere in this thread, if he turns into something, then that's a win.
Take your wins where you can find them.
sure but there is no reason for excitement. not yet anyway

Exactly! I saw so much potential in what I saw out of Travis tonight. I could see him increasing his role here in Indianapolis.
Having a 6'7 target with a wicked tattoo on his arm and plays with an edge is what this offense needs!

During one of our games, only one side of the roof was open. Why not the whole thing? And why have a root that can open if it is closed over 99% of the time?
I have read numerous complaints about Lucas Oill Stadium having piped in noise. Nobody said that about the Texans, Titans, or Jaguars stadiums, and those teams are not the best ticket sellers either. Is that a dome thing?
no you haven't
there have been no complaints about lucas oil having piped in noise. that place is quiet as a mouse

It should.
It means something to the NFL and it means something to those who cover the NFL.
So it should mean something to you and others here.
It's not perfect. But it's pretty solid. It will give you a decent idea of how players are performing.
nope
it doesn't give you that idea at all.

absolutely the colts are soft. but that has more to do with the coach and lack of leadership.
colts fans are soft as well. complaining about the roof being open when it is 50 degrees outside was embarrassing

And this particular poster has been posting crazy stuff like this since I joined here in May of 2012.... perhaps longer... It's amazing to me how his mind works.....
you mean how i use reason and logic instead of emotion?

Speaking the truth is not throwing anyone under the bus or is saving your job.
Most people who know Pagano wishes he would speak more truth and not so much coach speak.
Speaking of glasses, you need a new set.
right. right.
most people have connected the dots on the snake in the grass in the locker room. he can't coach and did everything he could to hide that fact. pointed the finger everywhere else. everyone is gone and look what we have. this is all on him. he was always the worst of everyone and just sold the coach, gm, owner and players down the river so dudes like you could just smile and clap for the worst coach in colts history and maybe the leagues history.

He was? He had no sacks in 13 games and only 1 forced fumble all season. In the Playoff game vs Pitt he was a non-factor. He was also playing banged up half of the year is why he didn't even play in 2006. Not sure what you were watching?
football
i was watching football. look what larry tripplett did that year. there is more to football than what you see on the stat sheet. i highly doubt you will understand that though

Show the examples of what you say.
You may dislike his coaching but no one who knows him has anything negative to say about him as a person. Quit making up stuff just because you dislike him.
throwing every assistant under the bus to save his job?
leaking untrue information to the media to garner public favor to save his job?
throwing the players under the bus to save his job?
whatever this vontae davis thing was.
open your eyes dude. the picture is painted. and you don't need glasses to see it

never know about a head coach since most of the best are taken, Look at Saban , could not win in the nfl , you just never know , getting Luck back is the mist important thing for this team in my opinion , but yes get rid of Chuck , nice guy but no a head coach and take the offensive co ordinate with him
he isn't a nice guy.
nice guys don't throw everyone else under the bus to save their jobs. or leak lies to the media to gain public favor.

Green has played pretty well the last couple of weeks. The piling penalty was stupid but if you watch he jumps on the pile before the whistle blew. If he had come down on his feet instead of then rolling on top of the ball carrier it probably would not have been a penalty.
Until Geathers comes back to form, Green is the best safety against the run on the Colts roster.
i don't think so. i think this is just all kinds of wrong.
green is terrible. against the pass. terrible. against the run. terrible.
there are probably 30 dudes just sitting and waiting to get a tryout that are better than him tomorrow. no practice needed.

manusky was unjustly fired so that pagano could keep his job. pagano threw him under the bus as well as other assistants because he has no integrity
