Probably Mewhort over Thornton, but I'd like to see Lance Louis get back to his old self and man that spot.
-
I'm sick of every future mock draft having us picking another O-lineman in the first round, especially after we took Mewhort.
-
Seriously? We haven't resigned this guy yet?
-
This probably is his last year. We're paying him almost 10 mil a year, and he's in his mid 30s
-
Never have I ever wanted to agree with someone so badly in this forum.I nominated this thread as the dumbest of this Draft yet.
Anyone second...?

I hope we trade away a future 3rd to nab Desir, get Carl Bradford if he's still there in the 5th (or Michael Sam if Bradford's gone).
-
perfect. I also really like this song.
-
I'd go for it. I'm usually against trading away future picks, but considering we need at least one more body in the back end, and that all we'd have to give up is a third rounder, I'm all for it.

I really like Attaochu, Joyner, Bitinio, and Yankee.

I'm with mack

Alright I like the predictions. A few of my own:
1. There will be a record number of trades in this Draft
2. Manziel is the first quarter taken
3. The solid players (Matthews, Gilbert, ) will fall, whereas potential-based prospects (Manziel, Beckham, Robinson) will be popular in the top ten.
4. Mike Glennon gets traded for a late first round pick, and then the bucs use that pick on a qb.

The top 3 things I look forward to every year (besides the super bowl and draft)
1. Christmas
2. Summer Vacation
3. The Release of Andy's NFL Draft Preview Guide

So there's definitely going to be a Colts trade in the draft. There always is, especially with Grigson making all the calls, so it's only a matter of time before you hear Goodell announcing the change.
My question is, what do you think the trade(s) will be, and when? I know it's a wild goose chase, but who knows? Maybe one of us will be semi-close to what actually happens.
I predict we will swap third round picks with the Lions, and give in next year's third rounder, and select Trai Turner.
That's my prediction. What's yours?

My thoughts exactly.Jaylen Watkins Isn't my favorite option but I would love to go S and CB for the first two picks.
-
Yes we do.
-
Not Dri Archer. As talented as he may seem, it's unlikely he's a mcluster-type player at the next level. Our picks this year are valuable and should be spent wiser.
-
I like the picks, but I'd rather trade Vick Ballard for a third round pick, rather than a future second rounder.
-
I say he's a second round talent, but if the GM's don't think so, we could trade back or take the risk and wait to get him in the next round.
-
If all the other owners are high on draft day, sure, why not?
-
I'm sorry, but this mock is just terrible. I've soured on Murphy recently upon further analysis. He's a tough football player, but he plainly doesn't have enough pass rushing skills or awareness. He's like a Bjoern Werner who's less athletic, slower, and doesn't have nearly as much potential. And Vereen is just a huge reach that would be a horrible idea in such a great draft such as this.
-
Always best to know a little history about who you're cheering for.
-
Let's not invest a high pick on a center. Give Holmes one more year on an O-line that could be otherwise set. We have to many areas to upgrade on defense.
-
There's a pretty slim chance those 3rd day guys were going to make any kind of contribution anyway. Considering we could walk away with talents like Buchanon, Smith, and Desir, well that's just a no brainer.

Looks terrific to me
Mathis suspended first 4 games of 2014.

I was wondering how he did so good so late in his career... I thought he just found it in himself and Pagano helped bring it out.
