The most important thing is they need their 4th round pick back next year healthy and playing all season.
Blake Freeland is hurt? lol

Irsay needs to quit buying guitars and start buying some stars, when Pittman is your #1 you know you're in trouble. No pass rush, terrible depth in the secondary and still trying to find our QB. It's time for Irsay to spend some money, we tried to build through the draft and we've gotten some great players but we need a few stars to win the division and/or get to the playoffs.
That... that's not how any of this works....

The "band-aid" approach to the QB position the past several seasons simply has not worked out.
The demise of Andrew Luck's career can be traced to our former GM - who played offensive line in the NFL - but - drafted only one significant offensive lineman in his tenure - C Ryan Kelly.
No quality linemen = QB demise - no matter what your name is.
To be fair, he did try on the offensive line via draft and FA, maybe even trade? Hugh Thornton and Khaled Holmes were 3rd/4th round I think, Gosder Cherilus was made like the highest paid RT or something, the guy from the Pats who blew up his quad before ever playing a snap for us(David something maybe?) was supposed to be pretty good. Grigs just sucked really bad at picking the right guys on the OL.

I liked them. Saw they were getting dragged online and I don't get it. It was definitely a nice change of pace and infinitely better than Color Rush.

Here's a game NOT to play - Take a drink every time Collingsworth says "I gotta tell you". Your wife would be calling for an EMT by the second quarter.
I play a similar game but it's when he says "Now here's a guy..." and now I'm an alcoholic.

Sometimes you need to tank when your without a QB. Just glad it happened with colts in a solid Qb Class and not in 21. If we had 4th pick in 21 we would still be without A Qb Or Kenny Pickett would be our QB.
Well Kenny Pickett has been playing like preseason MVP, so we might not be in a bad spot in that scenario. That said... I'd have been extremely meh on that selection

Im sure Ballard has got his eye on those cuts more than usual this year because of our position in the pecking order.
Good call. Could help to partially explain why he hasn't gone after bigger names/signings.

I know it was a different regime, but didn’t we play Andrew luck a lot in preseason?
I can't say for sure since I don't honestly remember very well these days, but I believe we had him playing... and he was the most pro-ready QB coming out since Elway lol

I think the Texans have had some attrition on their OL, so that could be a possibility. I believe that yes, unless they're veterans who have been vetted for however many seasons, cuts go straight to the waiver wire. If unclaimed, that's when original teams can then sign to their practice squads if desired.

I think he plays. The entire narrative since we drafted AR is that he just needs as many reps as possible. I don't think sitting him as soon as he's announced the starter jives with that very well. Let him get a few series or a quarter (with the starting OL).

Damn, my other two leagues are defunct now as well. My work has had so much turnover/WFRs that our league died and there's not enough interest to make a new one. My $ league was ran by a guy from my hometown who has since gone social media silent and that was the only way I knew how to contact him. Now this one appears like it's not happening. Womp womp.

Depending on how the Texans preseason games go I won’t be shocked if Mills gets the start the first couple games.
From what I've seen/listened to, Stroud has all but locked up that starting QB job in practice. Guess it would possibly hinge on the next 2 preseason games going a lot less catastrophically for him though. He should get more than 4 pass attempts next time, I'd hope lol

Take what u saw with their O line with a grain of salt. No detailed game planning and blocking plans. Will likely look different during the season. Houston supposed to have a good line.
I think I read somewhere that Houston has lost like 3 or 4 OL during camp (not sure if anything major, but just something to note). I also didn't watch the game last night so not sure what the announcers had to say on the state of their OL. But it could be ugly over there for a bit.

His account says he has a PHD in Thuganomics...
However I don't think the post that they are asking for $20m is some out of this world proposition.
See post above.
There's only one doctor of thuganomics and you can't see him.

Saw this earlier. Dude is just the worst. Not because he's pessimistic, that I can understand. But he's just such a whiny little baby about everything and is condescending as all get-out.

Yeah, I think Raimann has a chance to be a lot better this year... but I'm still going with LT. Go find a stud that can give us that island that we used to put AC on so our RBs/TEs can help elsewhere and our young QB has time to do what he needs to do.

I bet $20 on the Colts to win it all immediately after the SB finished. Odds were +28000 so bet 20 to potentially win 5600. Stranger things have happened lol

We already pay for the media options that carry the games, with the exception of Sunday Ticket which we haven't bought in years and years since DirecTV got so stupid expensive. This is the first year I've signed up for it in a long time, partially because I already use YouTubeTV as my primary cable/satellite replacement. That covers local channels, ESPN for MNF, and NFLN for TNF. We already have Prime which will cover their exclusive games now. Being out of market I've had to resort to the less-than-legal options of watching my Colts from my phone (occasionally casting it to my TV but the experience has definitely been sub-par. I have no problem paying to watch the games where I want to. Only better option would be if they would adapt the NBA/MLB model and allow us a cheaper alternative to just stream a single team's games for the season. Not sure that will ever happen, but I'd love it as I expect a large portion of the NFL fanbase would as well.

Colts will get a top 8 pick and will most likely draft Oline Dline or the secondary. Won’t be QB or a skill position player.
I mean we're taking Marvin Jr if he's available... Irsay already out here dropping hints on that

Colts fans, who is your favorite non-colt player?

I'm a big 49ers guy as my "secondary team". After we got Luck, I started watching Stanford on Saturday nights and got a full dose of CMC. I've been rooting for him ever since. I also love Deebo, Kittle, Aiyuk, and now I find myself on the Purdy bandwagon. They're eating over there in SF, that's for sure.
