Welp... that's not good.

I think I saw a tweet in the thread already stating Zavier Scott was cut.

Even if Mitchell doesn't pan out, I don't find anything wrong with Ballard saying what he said. He said the exact same thing last year regarding CJ Stroud and his S2 (I believe?) testing. His point was just that people with these "anonymous sources" put out so much information with the explicit aim to tear these draft prospects down in teams' and the public's eyes. It wasn't just an AD rant. It's an overall, generally speaking rant.

Nailed it!

Maybe it's to remind himself of the 10 WRs who went before him. I have no real idea, obviously, but would track with his whole "chip on his shoulder" thing he's got going on.

I thought it'd be Turner but Latu is great too. Obviously the injury history is risky, but we got our pick of the litter defensively and Id have been upset if we went offense at this point. Welcome to the Colts Mr. Latu! Wreck these QBs!

I need the sad/crying react emoji because getting no receivers or corners in this draft would be devastating lol. -

I just don't see Ballard trading up for a tight end. Could be wrong though. C'mon Thursday! -

I think it'd take at least our first and second rounders this year and a first next year to get AZ on the phone. Not even sure that'd be enough for them to drop to 15. I'd put it at roughly .000000000000000001% chance Ballard would be willing to part with that for one player lol. A fan can dream though! -
I think it was reported that KC wasn't really asking that much for him and were being more than reasonable as far as trade compensation goes. I also think when you pay $10.5m more in guarantees (I believe I saw a tweet that stated that) than any CB has received in the history of the NFL, it's tough to call it a steal though. The Titans deemed it worth that. I have no doubt that the guaranteed money is what made the Colts walk away.

Colts offseason discussion / Ballard Grievances (merge)

Meh. I hope not lol. It's not a great safety class from what I've read/heard. Means we'd likely have to use an early rd pick (Dejean in rd 1?) to make sure the position was solidified. I'd rather have all the bases covered at least somewhat so that we can take the most impactful player at our pick rather than potentially reaching for need. But you could be right. We don't know what Ballard is thinking. -
Not at all. I don't speak for all Colts fans, but I have no ill will towards the Packers (though I live in the Chicagoland area so I hear plenty of it lol). A lot of people here wanted Jordan Love in that draft so I've been keeping an eye on him as well.

To the bolded, I think that's the general consensus feeling around here. I know I'm in that camp as well. I'd like to re-sign Blackmon and pickup a FS. Get the trade for Sneed or even a less expensive veteran option for the other starting CB spot across from Juju. And use 1.15 on BTJ or Bowers if he somehow falls (though I wouldn't be against a CB there either, I'm just in the mindset of improving the offense with young talent to grow with AR). I haven't done much research on X. Worthy but I know he's moving up after the combine. How are his routes? Could he be a TY type receiver or is he more of an Alec Pierce "just go" type? Would 1.15 be too early for him if BTJ/Bowers are gone? I don't know.

I don't feel like I see this very often until the actual draft. Definitely interesting. @NFLfan @VikingsFanInChennai -

Saquon to Philly on a 3 year deal. Glad to see these RBs starting to cash in on longer deals after the fiasco they've faced for the last few years. -
