  1. Yes, he will and that was my point as I was responding to the following quote from you: "It’s not even clear he’ll make the 53 man roster. He might. But it’s not a lock." I am glad we are in agreement now.
  2. Freeland is a rookie 4th round pick at a position of need (OT). He's a stone cold lock to make the team.
  3. The guard had no Lachance to make the team. The only guard this says anything about is Lachance.
  4. The line was extremely "broke" last year and Braden was part of the problem at RT. I'm not saying moving Braden to guard is necessarily the solution but when you draft a bunch of tackles, no guards, and RG being the biggest hole/weakness... it's certainly not out of the realm of possibilities.
  5. It may, indeed, just be you. That's your prerogative. But, as you think we are crazy... We think you're crazy.
  6. You're on a football fan forum and you can't believe people will pay that much ($20 a week, or less, over 17 weeks)? To me, it's crazy that someone that is a football fan would choose to watch on a 7in hand-held screen. (Also I'm not sure of the legality, accessibility, or existence of this "free" phone package)
  7. Do you just drink water and bring a ziplock of peanuts? Because otherwise you're probably paying more over 17 weeks.
  8. I'll believe it when I see it. Fingers crossed, we need Shaq back.
  9. I didn't say practice is pointless. I agree with what you're saying but that work mostly occurs during off-season work. In season work is mostly prep for the next game due to limited time. Yes, the colts would obviously give more attention to AR but again live game reps are the ultimate way to learn and improve. This also gives the coaches more training tape.
  10. There are also tons of examples of teams sitting players who needed to play (Trey Lance who was similar inexperienced to AR is a current example). AR needs to play to learn. I didn't say practice isn't important but game reps are invaluable and are limited. And practice during the NFL season is typically limited to preparing for the next game so it's tough to grow in that spot. Obviously there are proponents on both sides but as long as AR isn't getting destroyed by free rushers every play then I strongly believe he needs to be playing.
  11. False. Practice snaps are nothing like live fire game snaps. You just can't simulate the real thing. Plus during the regular season the starter typically gets all the meaningful reps in practice. And the Chiefs and Packers sat their QBs because they had excellent QBs ahead of them on good, competitive, teams. Richardson behind Menshew (a below average QB joining a new, not so competitive, team) is not a comparable situation.
  12. Watching Downs college highlights remind me of when I first watched TY's highlights after he was drafted. Unbelievable highlight films. None of our WRs since TY have given me that feeling (and I love MPJ and AP).
  13. FB and Punter? We have a pro bowl potential punter and FB lmao... Please find your nearest exit.
  14. Can you imagine the angry expletives when this Jack fella messes up?
  15. I don't know if they're trying to replace him, specifically, I think it's just that none of the guys have proven to be consistently reliable. So, why not bring in more competition with one of our 300 picks? With that said, I'm hoping someone can grow to be enough of a blocker (Woods or Olgetree) so that we can move on from Mo. There was a time when I thought Mo was going to be great but he has proven that he just is not a ball catcher and is too big and lumbering to have the body control needed to be a good TE. Plus his blocking has regressed as well. I'm pretty confident that with this new group, they'll look to move or cut Mo, unless Steichen can unlock something in him.
  16. Redo their drafts and both are top 10 picks. Miami later traded Welker to Pats for a 2nd round pick before Welker was even Welker. So yeah, that's a(nother) bogus comment.
  17. He sounds like an anti-Campbell... And that's a good thing!
  18. How is our inaccurate QB supposed to hit such a small target?
  19. Dear God. You are seriously fixated on such a minor comment that was in no way a "lie". As bluephantom stated, two things can be true. Does Steichen highly value accuracy? Yes. Does Steichen also value a QB with infinite upside enough to take a risk on him, despite accuracy issues? YES! I suggest you build a bridge and get over it.
