I don't think I saw that one, subvet. Perhaps I should check it out.

I haven't seen "Starman" either. From what I remember, Gene Siskel & Rodger Ebert gave this film an enthusiastic "Thumbs Up" review when it was initially released. Just like Gramz, I will have to borrow it from my local library too I guess. Thanks for the recommendation subvet.

SW1, be prepared to "get something in your eye" at the end. I still heartily recommend it.

  2. Temp outside was 101, we went out there to cool off. Hope there aren't many days like this one was.

went from zero to five since 11:58 this morning... still not sure what they are or how that happened, but I feel special now. Thanks to whoever for that. How do I help make others feel special?

  5. The Colts cleaning (or is it purging) house continues. For the first time in years I'll have to use a program to know the players.

Why is it necessary to completely destroy a team? Other NFL teams fonts seem to go that route when trying to improve or even rebuild.

There was a time when I didn't think anything could be worse than this past season....

  6. The game today was exactly what was needed to warm up for the playoffs!

Yes, I know nutrition should come 1st I suppose...Emphasis on should...but I do try to get my nephews to eat a least 1 healthy item while I watch over them. Perhaps, I should take some pointers from you Gramz. But, I was glad to see you splurge & give Kyndall a few M & M's under the table...LOL Gramz.

it's like they look for the clean cars, I swear...animal conspiracy. Last week I drove through a bug hatch of some kind, the guts just smeared around on my windshield with the cleaner solution and I could hardly see for a minute. GROSS!

I had never been a baseball watcher, but in the recent years it has been growing on me.. the nuiances of the pitch, the head games with the skippers, and I really like baseball pants.

"I really like baseball pants. " Wearing them or watching other athletes moving around in them? Just Kidding MCF! I couldn't resist asking you that. Inquiring minds want to know...HA! HA! Only Teasing! :)

I get that, not a big fan of the heat. My office is air conditioned, but I frequently have to go out on the shop floor and we have ovens, it can get upwards of 120*F.. going to be a long summer, if 80*F days are starting already. The fog here was fanstastic this morning though 0.3m visibility, was really cool rolling off the lake

  12. Yeah, it was 122 alongside the ovens last night at work.....

My son brought home these cooling bands from Japan that he bought in a dollar store. They are amazing. Just peel and stick them on your forehead, back of neck, etc. But, I can't find anywhere in the US that sells them. They seem to only be available for purchase from Asia.

It was 122 along the barn. My cousin lost a young 500 lb Angus to the heat.

I'm glad the heat finally broke and it's a balmy 87 outside now. Never thought I'd appreciate that....
