  1. I lived in the Dallas area for 13 years, family and friends came out from tornadoes ok thank goodness.

      LOL, Texans are proud of their heritage and it would be more like: "Just sent another yankee home air mail!"

      :) I'ts a whole different world I guess.

      When I hear my brother - who spent the first 40 years of his life living in NJ, then Philly, then Long Island - talking with a southern drawl, my mouth just hangs open in astonishment with probably spit pooling up on my shirt. Not saying it's a good thing or a bad thing, but I just can't wrap my head around it. At LEAST he isn't a Cowboys fan. That would be just too much.

      That is a problem because the accent is real easy to pick up, the odd thing is when I visit with friends or family from there, which happens often, the drawl creeps back into my speech and it stays for days after getting home again.
