Is it just me, or has Rock Ya-Sin been pretty bad all season?  He's been a decent tackler, but anytime I notice him, it's because he's getting burned by a receiver or flagged for a penalty

He's been subpar most of the year, although I still feel like a lot of those penalties on him today were... well... "questionable".

  2. It wasn't a great game by Brissett, but when it mattered he made one of the best plays I've seen from a QB in recent memory. Absolutely insane he got away from Miller and threw a PERFECT pass on a rope to Hilton 40 yards down the field. He got the ball with less than two minutes to go and got us into field goal position for the win. That's clutch and it was a hell of a play by him.

Brissett is what he is, I don't think he's an elite quarterback ala a Brady or a Rodgers, but he's a really damn good QB.

My take away is this defense has to keep showing what they did last night. This will  mean nothing if we don’t follow up with the same effort the next game.

Hopefully it means less of the soft zone. So glad we went away from that last night.

I mentioned the Turay injury in the paragraph about the potential next meeting, in that missing him in that game won't be a facotr when comparing players coming back for KC and us next time.  I wasn't mentioning Turay in any response to your comment.

I'm not looking for an excuse to take credit away from the win.  I don't invest heavily in shallow-formed opinions then look for ways to validate them later.

How much impact did the injuries on the KC side of the ball have on this game?

As has been said.  We pretty much dominated the game, but it still came down to KCs last possession.

I'm thinking Tyreek Hill would make a few plays during the game, and Kelce would've gotten open more because of the threat of Hill, or a screen pass to Shady.

I bet Devin Funchess would have helped out. Just like I’m sure Darius Leonard and Malik Hooker would’ve been helpful against the KC offense. Injuries are part of the games. Good teams overcome them.

Now we have to find away to replace Turay.

Is Odum a better safety then Geathers also?

Wilson getting torched all week and was a stud tonight.

Banogu needs to step up.. Houston needs to play like he did tonight all season long. Sheard is solid as well.

  6. I talked a lot of trash about Eberflus, Gruden seemingly out coached us last week and we looked lost on defense at times...

But wow, what a turn around. We were getting after Mahomes all game, and despite having major injuries to the secondary and to Leonard, we somehow dominated that game along the line on both sides of the ball.

Gladly eating mine! Credit to Eberflus for making the necessary adjustments.

Lots of time left. We have the better coach. Only down 2 TD's and it's 60 minute game.

We have the better head coach but Eberflus better make adjustments defensively, the soft zone that Atlanta carved up last week didn't look any different the first drive.
