Colts have the 15th pick in the draft. (MERGE)
James replied to Indyfan4life's topic in Colts Football
Honestly, I really like Cooper DeJean on the Colts. Even at 15. He is sneaky athletic, a hard worker, a gym rat, scrappy, gritty and cerebral, has a high motor and high football IQ, plays the game the right way, does what it takes to win, a real lunch pail guy, first guy in last guy out, has a nose for the football, kind of guy you’d let date your daughter, a real coaches kid. What’s not to like about him? -
Colts offseason discussion / Ballard Grievances (merge)

Almost a decade in. 0 division titles, losing record, 1 playoff win. Texans lost their young franchise qb after ours. They have already rebuilt faster and won the division. Ballard sucks. We are seriously going to waste an entire decade sticking with this dude. -

It’s more important to keep Mo and not do any restructures like other NFL franchises. -

Ballard probably doesn’t have the sensibility to cut Mo and restructure Q and/or Buck to make room for a quality player at a premium position. Because why would you do something that? I’m sure Mo’s awesome blocking and couple of TDs next season will outdo whatever Snead does. Irsay, are you watching! Division gets better. Colts stay the same. 2024 rookies impact my *. -

It’s so annoying how he cant change his approach just a little. Does the man do any sort of self evaluation? Clown fiesta. -

So ready to watch his “We like our guys” approach fail again. Absolute ponce. -

Give me Bowers, BTJ or Mitchell at 15. (If we’re going pass catcher)

What are you on about? Lions OC = Ben Johnson Eagles OC = Brian Johnson Direct that facepalm at your own post. And yes, BRIAN Johnson has along with Sirianni been absolutely abysmal for some time now resulting in the disappointing ending to the Eagles’ season. Fraud is perhaps a bit hyperbolic, but it gets the message across. They have shown incompetence that’s not acceptable. -

Colts should offer Pittman Jr a new contact for 4 years and Mike Evans a 2-3 year contract. We have the offensive line (need more depth off, but in terms of starters). We have the running back. Shore up those skill positions. Then draft futures wideouts in round 1-3 in the 2026-2027 drafts. Pittman Jr’s and Evans’ contracts would fit perfect with Richardson’s rookie contract (one year option included). -

Nah. They have better WRs than the Colts. They have top notch WRs. Yeah, AJ Brown didn’t play tonight but they’ve struggled offensively for more than a month WITH him too. Brian Johnson and Nick Sirianni are frauds. Their utterly atrocious offensive planning and play calling (namely Johnson) have exposed them. -
Sudden Death Cage Match: Colts vs. Texans *Saturday 8:15pm (MERGE)
James replied to RollerColt's topic in Colts Football
Have to disagree here. IMO, AR would likely have made the Colts win more games - like Stroud has done for the Texans. Remember the Colts were up 14-0 vs the Stroud led Texans because of AR’s running and throwing ablity. Then he got hurt and the Texans almost came back in that game. AR would have ups and downs but his ability would have expanded the offense even more leading to more heights than lows under the tutelage of Steichen. If one has watched the Colts this season there is no denying Minshew has done an admirable job. His lack of pocket presence/navigating the pocket when pressure comes and frequent erratic decisions combined with his lack of playmaking ability compared to what we saw from AR, make a lot of Colts fans think they would have been even better with AR. -
I like Minshew, but every freaking time someone gets close to him in the pocket I fear a fumble is coming. He needs to take much better care of the football.

Agent seems like an utter ponce. Assessing the accurate market situation is not "bad faith”, and now he's at it again. Just tag JT after this season, and then again after the next, and watch this guy whine even more on social media. Would love it. -
Enter Emil Ekiyor Jr. Starting RG.
-
His route running is elite. Good luck trying to cover this player.
-
Now we just need for the Colts to announce them.

You and me both. But that kind of money tells us something. I must admit, I never watched this player.
