Not the most exciting day, but still some things to see... I want to see what that mountain of a human Mekhi Becton will do in his tests. But yeah... here's a thread to discuss what's happening on day 2.
Here are the measurements for the OLine:
Bench press numbers are out... some notable ones here:
OL
- most reps - Netane Muti 44 !!!
- fewest reps - Kyle Murphy 19
RB
- most reps - Scottie Phillips 29
- fewest reps - Eno Benjamin 12
The on-field testing and drills start in about 45 minutes at 4pm ET
PFF loves Muti. Number one IOL, number 33 overall. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

Now that the suspension has been served the Colts will need to make a decision regarding CK. What is the deadline for that decision?

Hoyer would be a good veteran to work with JB. If the colts think Kelly will be the backup next year they might just keep him on the roster. I noticed the saints have 3 QB on their roster. Hoyer could also teach Kelly how to be a pro.
I know it would probably kill CB to sacrifice a roster spot but I think I would be in favor of doing this. The Colts may have to promise a full season to get Hoyer to agree.

He's safe till week 3....then the practice squad!
Nope. They have seen enough. Ballard will sign a vet or a qb cut on Saturday.

I'm not surprised the Ravens took Brown considering how much success they had with Steve Smith, another very small receiver.

From TheDraftNetwork...
"Competitive Toughness - Elite competitor with sterling football character. Work ethic and leadership, both vocal and by example, are off the charts. Physical with a hot motor in all phases of the game, often chirping after the play. "
Definitely a Ballard type of guy

The two I really like on this list are Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and AJ Brown. Would be great if we could get both.

This is from TheDraftNetwork profile of Cody Ford...
"Competitive Toughness -Plays with the intent to put you in a grave. Works through the whistle well and has the demeanor you want as a blocker. Takes aggressive effort in pass protection to ensure he's hitting someone after executing primary responsibilities."
Oh yeah, he would fit in with the Colts OL quite well

I agree with Exodus. Butler's NFL.com profile makes it clear, drops are a big concern. I don't want Darrius Heyward-Bey 2.0

“We need guys on defense with speed and explosive playmaking---guys that can go get the ball,” Ballard told JMV. “Extra possessions in games. The more possessions you can add by taking away the football is important.
“The more speed you have, the more athleticism you have, guys with hands, guys that can catch the ball, guys that can run, so when the ball pops out they can get the ball---we’ve got to continue to add those types of players.”When you read these comments from Ballard it's no surprise they chose Hooker. He seems to fit exactly what he was looking for.
Hooker had the 5th highest grade on the NFL tracker. Damn good pick at 15!

21 Blackjack Richardson

I don't see us grabbing anyone else then. Unless we bring Mr. Harvard (Fitzpatrick) in for the "Mentoring" role
Andrew has more important things to do than mentor Fitz

Here is another analyst opinion, Don Banks, Sports Illustrated. Likes the players but not a couple of the contracts...
It was a huge day for the Colts. And one that could get even more impactful if Cliff Avril winds up with Indianapolis.
Grade for Cherilus signing: B-minus. Was 2012 just the result of a player in a contract year? Cherilus caused plenty of headaches for the Lions up front, so we’ll have to see if he can maintain his pace. I dropped this from a B to B-minus at the revelation of Cherilus’ contract — a reported five years, $34 million with a $10 million bonus.
Grade for Thomas signing: A. Love this one. Thomas provides depth and ability up front.
Grade for Toler signing: B-plus. Pending Toler’s health, the Colts might end up really loving this cap-friendly contract.
Grade for Walden signing: D. I’m sure the Colts believe in Walden’s abilities, but the financial commitment to a player who’s been subpar at best was staggering.

On the nfl.com draft tracker they list an nfl comparison for each of the top prospects. The comparison for DJ Fluker is Loadholt. If you can't sign the real Loadholt maybe you draft the next Loadholt

Jeff Saturday or Marcus Pollard

Any chance he joins Bob in the radio booth? I would love that.

If they sign only one OL FA then I hope the first pick is Johnson, Cooper or Fluker. If they sign two OL FA then I want them to draft defense, Rhodes or Elam

Kinlaw's pro day is the 16th. If he appears 100% healthy and puts up good numbers I think any medical red flags get removed. Hopefully, he was just being cautious skipping the combine. Still hoping for him and a qb.
