  1. Thought he played well. Thought Kwity did too.
  2. To the bolded. In 2021 you mentioned that the elite RB made no difference to teams prospects and we had a QB on that team that led Philly to a Super Bowl. In 2021 he cost the Colts over 14 times what JT cost the Colts plus a third round draft choice plus a 2022 first round choice. Wentz truely sucked in 2021 so in this case do you blame the elite RB who was paid way, way less than the QB who was bad or put some blame on the QB? Would you agree that with decent QB play that elite RB could have contributed to the teams prospects? I agree we probably won't agree and it is all more than likely a moat point so I guess we just agree to disagree.
  3. So if are you saying having an elite RB is good and paying an elite RB is different as long as you pay on elite money and you pay the other non elite RB money yes I understand. That could be said for any position but what does it mean when it was said 'No' to paying a RB diminishs the chance to win a Super Bowl?
  4. Sorry I don't get what you are trying to point out. The poist I pointed out asks the question: So pay an rb even when doing so lessens our chances of winning. Then he answers the question with a 'No' What ammissing?
  5. 17 hours ago, iuswingman said: So pay an rb even when doing so lessens our chances of winning. No There is the quote right there.
  6. It's getting better. Feel like a million dollars better everday. Thanks for askingCB!😜
  7. Are you suggesting we increase our chanse of winning with the RBBC we fielded Sunday? 25 yds on 16 carries and 2 fumbles. Do you really think we have a chance of winning the Superbowl this year. Are you really suggesting that if we paid JT 8M more with incentives we are jeopardizng our chance of winning the Superbowl this year. I'm a Colt fan and I like to see a competitive and best team fielded we can put out on the field each week.
  8. Out of the top 15 highest paid QBs in the NFL today 4 have won a superbowl. Top 5 average $50,000,000 per year and out of those 5 one has won 1 superbowl. To pay an elite RB a few Million more a year and a top 5 QB a few million less are you suggesting that you diminish your chance for winning a Superbowl? My point is only one QB out of 32 teams is going to win a Superbowl each year. Winning the Superbowl is the ultimate but having a winning and an exciting team sells tickets and excites the fan base. If your most exciting player on your team is an elite RB pay him. In our case the chance of us winning a Superbowl this year is as probable as Ball State winning the national championship. No offense Ball State fans but 2nd place woundn't be bad!😎
  9. Wow! The disdain for JT is unbelievable. He had one injury in 3 years. About the same as Nelson,Kelly,Smith, etc. Ev ery player in the league wants security from injury. That's why so many guaranteed contracts. My hope is we sign him with incentives and he playss for the next 8 years for the Colts. After Sunday whoever thinks the RBBC is better than an elite RB God help you.
  10. But,but I thought Fries was the big problem on the OL.
  11. Amazing how many great NFL talent scouts we have on this site.
  12. Just read that A-I predicted the Colts record at 6-11 just in front of AZ and Washington. Both may draft QBs and MHJ may fall in our lap!!
  13. There are some other good WR that will be coming out this year. OSU has another very good WR, Texas has 2 of the top 10. Not saying any are as good as MHJ but there arfe some very good ones. MHJ is a huge WR, moreso than his dad.
  14. Isn't the bolded a little double talk. You clearly stated that you don't think the Colts want to win 8 games but then you state that you think the Colts are trying to do their best. Generally agree with most of your posts but this one grabbed me.
  15. Thought he looked lighter than a few years ago. Hope most are right that he will get better as time goes on into the season. I too though am somewhat skeptical.
  16. I AR would have stretched the ball out he would have had the first down but he hugged it to his chest which generally is wise but we needed only inches in this case. Don't know his average yesterday but thought Sanchez had one of his worst days punting as a Colt. Gave up field position big time in the first half. Best punt of the day our gunners let the ball bounce around inside the 10 and instead of downing it we let the guy field it. That cost us around 50 yds and set up their go a head TD and changed the momentum of the game. I thought our D played great and keep us in the game but ran out of gas late. Young corners I thought played good under the circumstances. RBBC not so good.
  17. People were talking that RBBC was as simple as just picking up 3 RBs and your better in todays game than paying one good RB. McCaffery earned his big contract today so good RBss can earn their money. Was on Colt sight on Bleacher Report and most Colts fans are sold we would have won today with Taylor and sign him tomorrow. Not sold that with him we would have won but we certainly would have been a more balanced team. Our RBBC gained a total of 25 yds on 16 carries with 2 fumbles lost and a paltry 1.5 YPC. Hate to say it but if this continues we going to get Richardson hurt as for now he is our best rusher.
  18. Afraid 1 drink per half will be next to impossible this year, for me it is every year.🍺
  19. I saw somewhere that Speed was on concussion protocol. Must be cleared.
