  1. If they had a draft like that I would be shocked. That is the most solid draft I've see in any mock this year anywhere!
  2. Grip sake! It'll take me 6 months to understand this play book! We had a single page last year.
  3. Good for you. You should be proud of yourself. I'm sure you were on national TV in front of 5M viewers and representing a prestigious University or a NFL team and their millions of fans. I did crap when I was young and stupid but somewhere along the line one has to grow up and be proud of who and what one represents. Not saying he is all bad but stunts like this tells throws a red flag up to me as to the ones values. Its just a red flag for me. I know who not be a popular opinion on this site but it is an opinion.
  4. Look it up. He painted his nails for the game with a 4 letter word on each set of fingers. The second set was Utah. You can figure out what the other four letter word was: **** Utah. It was a national televised game and I just think that is very poor judgement and shows very poor character. Many may disagree with me but that tells me a lot about a person. I am not a prude but I have some morals.
  5. Richardson ask his coach to come with him and be his mentor and he quit his job with the U of Florida Gators to go with Richardson I am assuming based on the projected Money Richardson will make when drafted. Seems odd he would accept the job and throw AR under the bus when his future depended upon it but what do I know? Richardson ask his coach to come with him and be his mentor and he quit his job with the U of Florida Gators to go with Richardson I am assuming based on the projected Money Richardson will make when drafted. Seems odd he would accept the job and throw AR under the bus when his future depended upon it but what do I know?
  6. Don't like Williams character. Great talent but what he pulled in the Utah game totally turned me off.
  7. Agree with what you are say Stitches but if you remember back to those drafts there were QBs rated higher. Trubisky, Mayfield and Darnold were drafted before Allen, and Burrough and Tagovailoa were drafted before Herbert. In the same draft with Mayfield, Darnold and Allen, Rosen was drafted prior to Jackson who was the 5th QB to be drafted that year. Jackson had may critics that year including Bill Polian who said he should be drafted as a WR. Point being, drafting a QB is a crap shoot and some you listed above were not sure things. I would guess AR has the highest ceiling but probably the lowest floor. I think we have to roll the dice and I think our choices will be AR and Levis who both have high ceilings but the lower floors of the top 4.
  8. These guys workout and throw to receivers every day in simulated drills. Yes they can get hurt and some every year blow something out in none contact drills. Andrew Vorhees tore an ACL at the combine this year in none contact drills. Drills are part of their preparation and it's a risk in their trade. Guys tear pecs lifting in the off season.
  9. No QB is perfect. His receivers I am certain had some unbelievable catches.
  10. Then you have to factor in the same thing for all the QBs and I will guarantee you with the outstanding receivers Stroud had he would have had a lot more than the other 3 especially Levis and Richardson who had a well inferior group of receivers.
  11. My word, did Ballard leave you off his Christmas list? Your distain for him gets very old. Buckner takes exception to your comment.
  12. Never happen. If he doesn't take a QB at 4 he'll trade back in the first and pick up a mid round first and a second. Bet he takes a QB in the first but won't bet the farm.
  13. Tell Jimmy he has to open the Roof at Lucas cause I can't be hindered by that being closed.
  14. Hopefully we don't run him up the middle on 3rd and goal from our opponent's 4 yd line.
  15. Are you suggesting that anyone who doesn't want LJ due to the fact we would be paying him $50M + and forking over several first round draft choices or someone that doesn't want him to go crazy over paying in the first round of free agency is are ok with losing and don't want to see winning? That's like saying because a person does want to bungee jump off a 1,000 foot bridge is just a boring guy and doesn't want to ever have fun. People may want to win as much as you do but may not agree with your approach. No one has all the right answers but if they don't agree with me doesn't make them losers in my eyes.
  16. Don't remember that. We drafted Paye and thought Fisher could fill in at tackle. I think Kwity was a good choice but in hind sight Fisher didn't work out but don't remember Ballard being critical of Darrisaw at the time.
  17. Played 17 games last year and gave up 1 sack, Played all 16 games in in 2019 and got a 3 year extension. tweaked a knee in 2020 and missed 7 games mid season. In 21 he a foot injury that required 2 surgeries from his Lisfranc injury. When he has been on the field he has been stellar. I'd take a chance.
  18. Think he goes for a little less. maybe $10M range but worth it as far as I'm concerned. Need to shore up the line and he would be a great help.30 years old .
  19. Ballard isn't working in a vacuum here. They just hired a new coach that most seemed high on and I am !00% sure the new coach has a great deal of influence in the offense decisions being made. Many point to Campbell's small contract but 30 other teams had a shot at him and passed. I really was hoping we would resign him but they are the ones getting paid to make these decisions and I have faith they have a plan.
  20. Why would anyone with such distain for this team even post on this board?
