  1. I can't argue about what games, as I dont watch him religiously, but the times I've watched him, he drives down the field then misses throws and stalls drives.
  2. Like I said, I've just seen many drives fail with him at that helm. Just my opinion.
  3. I used to think he was good too, but I've watched too many games waiting for him to get it done, and to me he just doesn't have the it factor. Maybe a new GM and HC will change that. Time will tell. But he's not new to the league anymore.
  4. I feel last game was the perfect game to set us up for a playoff run. Get that loss out of the way, then go on a win streak to get in and then let the chips fall where they may. Just about everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Got it out of their system. How our team and coach responds this week will speak volumes to their character. I believe Steichen has what it takes to lead our team to its first win of a run to the playoffs! Go Colts!!
  5. A photo ID and a pic of Colts gear!!! lol. Not that it can't be photoshopped.
  6. I agree that we need to blitz more, especially against 2nd string QBs. The only comment that I made about blitzing is that it likely wouldn't stop the screens that killed us. But yes, we need to blitz more. Elite teams like the Cowboys and Eagles do it, so why shouldn't we?
  7. It's even more apparent when it's 3rd and long, like 10+.......
  8. I've noticed this too. why don't we ever stretch the defense on the sidelines. it's frustrating.
  9. BlitZ wouldn't have helped vs. the screens that we couldn't figure out.
  10. Screens killed us this game. Was pathetic. They turned into big gains EVERY drive.
  11. Wow. Let's let them run a screen every drive for 40 yards.....
  12. I think we forgot how to run the ball...seems we can't block anyone
  13. Grover's role has always been run stuffer. I've never known him to be an elite pass rusher.
  14. So by your logic, are you saying if Pierce was consistent with these types of games, he'd be considered a number 1?
  15. Mods I messed up. I don't know how to make this poll multiple choice! Will you please help me!
  16. I feel the Colts may make the playoffs do to their schedule, but I'm not sure we win more than one playoff game, if any. What are your thoughts?
  17. Since selecting Richardson and watching him play, and also selecting Steichen, I've been more optimistic. I've been fine with his drafting, except the hesitation at QB. His FAs decisions have been good for me. I'm pleased with his process for selecting Steichen, and it feels like the right choice. I know everybody wants their #1 WR, but I believe he's on the team. I'm much more positive on Ballard than I was last year. I feel like we might only need a C (if Kelly doesn't return), a FS, and a coverage LB. Definitely need depth on the D-line.
  18. Doesn't work that way. There is no "link" to the video that I could find.
  19. One name you haven't heard very much is Will Fries. That's a good thing. I'm glad he's doing well!
  20. As tight lipped as SS has been during media presses, he let us in a little bit about a play they had dialed up against the Patriots (that they didn't use) and against the Titans! Week 13 Recap: Shane Steichen, Colts at Titans (Sorry, can't figure out how to link the video).
  21. I'm fine with our WRs. Coverage LB, possibly center, Edge, DT, RB depth, safety.
  22. I've been on the other side of this conversation, stating he's only a number 2, but he's proven me wrong this year. The numbers don't lie. And the amazing thing is, he still hasn't had a stable QB to throw to him in all these years. He might not get all the TDs, but he's a playmaker. Props to Michael Pittman Jr. https://www.colts.com/news/sacks-nfl-ranking-michael-pittman-receptions-alec-pierce-gardner-minshew-titans "With his 11 receptions on Sunday, Pittman now has more receptions in the first four years of his career than any player in Colts history: Table inside Article Player Years Receptions Michael Pittman Jr. 2020-2023 314 Marvin Harrison 1996-1999 311 T.Y. 23. Regardless of opponents, we are one game behind the Chiefs. Something to be proud of. It's not easy to win in the NFL.
