  1. Exactly! I agree man. I think even if we don't make the playoffs, Minshew has over achieved. If we make it, it's just gravy for me. And even though we don't have a better roster than those teams, we can still compete!
  2. Man, just re-watched the highlights from the Ravens game this year. I really hope we dial up the pressure like that game against the Texans. It worked pretty well.
  3. Thought we we just having a discussion. Not sure how I am blowing anything out of proportion.
  4. Where was I being critical? I'm happy Minshew has gotten us this far, and I'd be ecstatic if we win sat. I just don't feel that absolves him of bad qualities. Minshew has continually gotten better as the season has gone on, and I've praised him for it. I feel it's OK to point out the bad as well as the good. Go Colts!
  5. No I didn't. But MY point is just because he gets us into the playoffs doesn't mean he is not flawed.
  6. MAYBE if he won the Superbowl.......but he still has his shortcomings IMO. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for him and I know he can make plays, but his pocket awareness leaves something to be desired.
  7. Can't disagree more. Win or lose it was a great season without our QB1. Had our ups and downs, but we are facing a good team in the Texans.
  8. Do all coordinators aspire to be head coaches? I remember Tom Moore as the Indy OC and he seemed to stay that way for a long time (please correct me if I'm wrong about that). I'm just curious if some people would just want to be the best coordinator. That may be a silly notion, so I'm just curious. Also, have there ever been a woman as a coordinator or a HC? I've seen some women officials. Thanks in advance!
  9. Crosby is an elite player. It happens.
  10. I disagree here. As has been said before, the highest paid positions are QB, DE, and LT. I think our number priority is a premier DE. We don't have one on the team that keeps Offensive Cooridinators up at night. I think we have enough playmakers on O, although I'm not against another WR. I just feel DE is the priority.
  11. My hope is that he's more consistent year 3, no matter the QB. I hope he can be our deep threat and be more dependable. Even though his drops are low, so are his targets, which amplifies the mistakes. I'd still be interested in a 1st round talent WR next year.
  12. He's made catches and gets open. He's had some critical drops, and has made some tough catches as well. He needs to be more consistent.
  13. If memory servers me right, I feel like they were limiting Richardson at first, or at least he wasn't looking deep. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I recall.
  14. Perhaps, but it seems like insanity if it's not working.
  15. Right, but that's where elite RBs look outside. I've seen him do it before, but he didn't do it against the Falcons.
  16. To be honest, it always seems like JT needs several games to get his vision going. Not sure why.
  17. Why would he be told "run into a pile" and ignore your vision??
  18. I saw Frank dial up an HB pass to Taylor, ONCE, and it got like 15 yards. Then never, saw, it, again... I've also seen some. trap plays with Nelson pulling, even this year, but didn't see it against the Falcons. Lastly, you are absolutely right, I can't remember a run to the outside in a long time. Very disappointing.
  19. IF AR can stay healthy,I agree. But that's yet to be determined. I am very excited to see our O with AR next year though. Regarding this game, I was so disappointed because we controlled out own destiny. After emotions subsided, I'm still thrilled with our wins thus far. We're playing with house money with Minshew at the helm. I'm still tired of our defensive scheme, talent or not. Curious for this off-season for sure.
  20. If you've watched all the games, he gets open plenty, and is a good blocker too. He had one bad drop. It was a drive killer, but I'm not writing him off because of it. Downs had two drops, but nobody is complaining about him....
  21. Minshew has his limitations. I have more faith in the WRs we have than you. Now, when AR is back, and it's the same story, then I might consider what you are saying.
  22. We need help plus we need to win out. We lost our chance to control our destiny.
  23. He got us in position for our only TD,... all our WRs played bad today. Granson was a bright spot. That's about it.
