Both should have fresh legs and fresh bodies to take a pounding on.

I'm a huge believer in keeping fresh legs on the D-line at all times. Losing Big Al is a big loss.

At the poker table on Saturday night, I made a proclamation that the Colts would beat DAL by 10+ points. The table, including father/son DAL fans, laughed. I doubled down and bet $20 to anyone who wanted it. Naturally, the ENTIRE table took my action.

Probably not the smartest move...but I had a sound theory about the circumstances surrounding that game (not very significant to DAL and how they will clinch at home instead)...and how that game was sort of a reverse version of the 2014 IND/DAL game...where IND got blown out. So I was confident.

However, I am not sure about this week. I will be at the game...so I know IND will win (I am like 16-1 going back years, including playoffs)...but I don't know if I see them winning by 11.

Make another wildass bet like the Dallas game, before this weekend. If you win again, I'll be calling you and betting on your latest glimpse into the future. :)

Halfway through the season I was convinced we should move on from Adam Vinatieri in order to seek a younger kicker. I know Vinatieri was dealing with some injuries so he didn't look too great at the time. He's been lights out these past few weeks and now I'm sitting here wondering if we should keep him another year if he decides to play another NFL season. I'm literally torn right now. What do you all think?

I felt exactly the same way but now I say; sign him even though he seems more accurate from 50 than he does on extra points. :)

Dallas is going to get alot of hype by ESPN, they are media darlings and America's Team. I am ok with it. We are a 3 point favorite though by Vegas odds. Zach Martin doesn't look like he will be playing, that is a blow to their protection on the O.Line.

Odds are creeping lower. Our book now has the Colts at -2.5. With the standard 3 pts. for the home team....well, let's hope the crowd at LOS lives up to it.

It was before my time as a Colts fan but I know how great Bert was. He won an MVP and had a laser arm. Damn shame his career was cut short. He was a Great talent.

Johnny Unitas wasn't before my time. Of all the great QB's the Colts have had, Bert Jones is still my favorite!! :)

No, just no. Ya'll entitled to your own way of enjoying sports, but betting on your team to lose indicates the end of being a fan in my world.

When you bet with your heart instead your head, I guarantee you'll end up somewhere south of even....FYI, we were cheering for the Colts, Probably louder than you.

haha , yeah that 60 Yard pass to TY was just plain noodlearmish :funny:. I knew last week was a fluke but stuff happens like that in the NFL unfortunately. I knew we would win today, I really did because Andrew wasn't going to get embarrassed again 2 weeks in a row. He is just too great IMO.

I happily lost $100 today! I don't think I've ever seen Andrew better. ...I guess I broke even cause the Colts won their 7th game and I took the over on the season future wins at 6.5. :) Ravens got beat...Denver's way behind at half...and the Pats lost on the ol multiple lateral play...A great day!!!

I really question the “we have no receivers but TY” mantra.

Last week, passes we dropped, there were bad throws and adjustments weren’t made to get guys open.

Is there a “Diondre Hopkins” among Inman, Pascal, Grant or Rogers ? No. But these are guys who have made plays this year.

And Reich has had great game plans and made adjustments this year. We came close to beating the Texans without Doyle, Castonzo, Smith and Mack. And with Houston having Fuller, who’s on IR.

I’m hoping Allie-Cox and Kelly play but either way, the Colts can win this game, even with the receivers we have.

    Well, I hope you're right. :)

That’s just it: will the offense play like they did against Jacksonville or like they did during the win streak?

As Reich looked at the Jacksonville game, he saw his team shut out and given his philosophy of getting better each week, I can see him asking himself what he could do if Houston’s defense plays as tight as Jacksonville.

Better that happened by Jacksonville than Houston. Could be a blessing in disguise.

Defense and Special teams played well.

My concern is; can Luck & the Offense regain confidence? If so, they could leave Houston with a win.

I think they'll play as tight as the Jags did because we have nobody, beside TY to stretch the field. Being able to establish a decent running game is our only hope. If not, Watt and Clowney are going to raise hell. As far as the win streak is concerned, we did it against teams with a combined record of 22-38. Not one of which is over .500.

Hey we should be able to take on the Texans.. at least we should be able to score TD's

With the whitewashing of the Colts factored in, the Jags D still averages giving up 20.3 PPG. The Texans average is 19.6.....The Texans Offense averages 25.2 PPG....The Jags, 16.9..  With the Colts O sputtering, this game does not look good.

I just want the Colts to be put out of their misery now. It's falling apart this year. I hope we lose out now and Ballard can fix the remaining holes on this team through FA and the draft. Our injuries aren't even that bad and we get destroyed. Literally Doyle and Kelly and the team falls apart on offense. I don't know, I guess I should take a break. When you're at the point where losing $300 at the casino is a better thing than seeing a blowout of the Colts, then I guess I'm taking it too seriously. I lack control of the team, so there's nothing I can do about it, so it upsets me seeing Reich and Luck make amateur mistakes.

Jared, I know what you're saying but we need at least 1 more win. We took the over on the season future's at 6.5 wins for the Colts. I started getting edgy during the Miami game and now I feel that the bet is in serious jeopardy. Ugh. :)
