  1. I'd go with Roger Carr and then Bill Brooks. I'd also like to mention one from the 60's who was one of my all-time favorites, Willie Richardson.
  2. Frank said Vinny was kicking them out to 64yds the week before the Chiefs game.
  3. I hate posts like this. I don't suppose it's possible we just got the crap kicked out of us by the better team that day.?. These types of excuses make the Blue Nation look like a bunch D-bags.
  4. Hammer

    Vinny

Adam still has plenty of leg. If it should come down to a 55 yd. fg to win a game, I know who I want to see trotting onto the field.
  5. The kid has one heckava leg...well, actually he has two.
  6. Slauson...Big Al...Desir...Inman, (the only wide receiver on this list worth bringing back)...Wilcox...Geathers...Glowinski...Farley...maybe Vinny.
  7. We'll need a troop ship to get to him, though!! Colts 34-31
  8. Wow, Smonroe! When a friend of mine got a color set in their house, our whole family went over there to watch the 'Wonderful World of Disney' and couldn't wait for the NBC Peacock. Thanks for the memories.
  9. Colts 27-20....My wife thinks the Colts will blow them out. 34-17
  10. I noticed someone mentioned they thought the game was in color. It may have been but not on the set we were watching. The old black and white set with the tuner ring around the channel changer. Turning that tuner endlessly trying to get rid of the snowstorm.
  11. Gary Cuozzo was Unitas' backup. He got hurt shortly after Unitas did....I'm with you. I still get * when I watch Don Chandler miss that FG and the zebras called it good. By the way, that FG was the reason they extended the uprights on the goal posts the following year.
  12. His nickname was fitting for the Colts. ;)
  13. My older brother and I watched the game at a friends place. They were the only one in the neighborhood who had a tv. I don't remember anything about the game except watching my brother going nuts! He was 7 and I was 5. He had already been a Colts fan for a year. I became a Colts fan that day. I figured if my older brother was that nuts about a team, then I better start following myself. To this day, we still watch every Colts game together along with our sons.
  14. When we were 1-5, I put $20.00 on the Colts to win the SB at 350-1. They're offering a little money to cash out. Not happening because if we win tonight, that offer will go way up, I'm sure.
  15. The only game I've worn a jersey since our 1-5 start was the Jags game. Since then, I've only worn a cap and a light pullover. That's not changing today.
  16. I'm going to increase my joy by heading over and spend some time lurking on the Steelers forum!!
  17. I quit drinking 34 yrs. ago, but if I was there, I'd come down and have a Coke with you!! Damn, it feels good!!
  18. Sure we can!! We can ask for another win and a Houston loss!!
  19. Peyton knows the Giants are done for the year. I think he'll be hoping that Eli has a good game but also that the Colts win.
  20. I'm a huge believer in keeping fresh legs on the D-line at all times. Losing Big Al is a big loss.
