Bert was one of my favorite Colts, but I’m not naive enough to believe he was better than Luck.

Also, QBs are asked to do so much more than years back, especially seeing it’s a pass first league for almost 25 years give or take a couple years.

What on earth do you mean? "QB's are asked to do so much more than years back." With this, can't touch the QB and the same with all the nit-pickey PI calls, Bert would have torn this league apart. He was the greatest thrower I've ever seen. I have to believe he would have loved playing in this, pass happy, don't touch me or my recievers, NFL.

Not sure how to answer you. Are you a law firm?

Hehe. The OP's name brings back some fond memories for a lot of us oldtimers. The 'Sack Pack' played during the Bert Jones era from the mid 70's to early 80's.

If Brissett is still the QB, I am not watching the game...nor am I watching any more games with Brissett as the Colts QB. I will just check the scoreboard after the game. No need for me to buy Sunday Ticket anymore which I have done for the last 15 years.

We have watched every Colts game since the advent of the 'Sunday Ticket'. I don't believe we're going to gather on Sunday, for the same reason.

its all a giant conspiracy.  Luck's retirement was a ruse to allow him to seek experimental and top secret total body titanium upgrades. He's gonna unretire in January, so they don't need to evaluate any other QBs. This ensures a top 12 draft pick, for which Ballard will turn into 3 top 10 draft picks next year. Making the Colts a super team with a cyborg at QB that cannot be hurt, tired and have a 100% completion rate on 90 yard throws.

I think you might be on to something.

I took the Saints -8.5 last night. Pretty simple and easy bet. It'll be interesting to see the line this week.

Jared, before last nights game they already had the early line on the Colts/Panthers. Colts -6.5. I wish I would have placed then. It's off the board this morning after last nights % show.

Supposedly Frank told one of the announcers tonight that Brissett is his guy. So that tells me that he will ride Brissett like the sinking ship he is and go to a watery grave. He's too enamored of Brissett to ever take a chance that he might be replaced by a draft pick or ... gasp....that wild guy Chad Kelly.

As long as Reich keeps saying that, I'll keep betting accordingly. Just as well make some money off of Reich's stubbornness/blindness.

    You never know.

I think it is more likely that the Colts get embarrassed on national TV.

Our playoff hopes are so slim, I'm not sure if I want us to win or not.

Of course when I'm watching the game I'll be rotting for the Colts all game.   But if it ends with a loss, I won't be too disappointed.

"Rotting?" Is that a typo or were you referring to the Colts' passing attack?

So I've seen this a lot, including comments from the broadcast team during the game. Do people believe that AV had a bad game against the Titans?

He missed a 55 yarder. Then two kicks got blocked. I don't think that was a bad game by AV.

And I think this waiver claim is a matter of circumstance, not an indication that they're done with AV and he won't kick anymore this year. The Niners waived a guy who has looked pretty good because Robbie Gould is back. The timing is coincidental, IMO.

AV will get to 600 with the Colts, this year.

Edit: By the way, the Colts wanted to sign McLaughlin to the PS earlier this year.

Do you really think the first blocked kick had a chance? AV pulled it badly. It had no chance of making it.

Yeah , hard to figure the Colts will win the way watching the two teams play lately. But thing with the colts is they seem to play well when you least expect it ?

I made my first bet all year .. Buff +6.5. Also took them even at +$240.

I like under 43.5 in our game.

We also took the Bills +7 and the moneyline +245....This game kept us at breaking even for the Thanksgiving games. Lost the under on the Bears/Lions game which cost us a 4 game parlay..Crap!!  I also like the under on the Colts game.

Did you know he used to kick field goals in college?

Did you also know he made all his field goals and missed only one extra point his senior year?

    Yup

    13/13 field goals w/ a long of 55 yards

    49/50 on extra points

    Just sayin'

I know we'll hear; "Punting and placekicking?? That's too much to expect for one man."....George Blanda, in his 40's, played QB and had the placekicking duties. I'm pretty sure the training regimens in the 40's, 50's, 60's. and 70's wasn't as sophisticated as it is today.....Give Rigo a shot. What have we got to lose?

  11. Why on earth were we not going for a first down on the last series? We had a first down at the 16 with just under a minute to go with all 3 timeouts, Instead he's calling deep corner routes until 4th down. Then, Ebron runs an 8 yd route on 4th and ten. Good God!
